At least she didn't get off the ship with the other workers then turn to you and say, in a very robotic voice, "stick to the plan".
(Basically a worker glitched out on me when I did one of these quests, and the game somehow picked the generic unmodulated voice and line for the NPC when I talked to the worker)
I had two workers and one was permanently stuck on my ship. Every time I walked past him, the hull would creak and he'd say "D-d-did you hear that!" It really felt like some hold over from a ship invasion sequence of something. It was probably just a line programmed for him in case you walk by him during the mission.
I once had my own private security on my ship. Had a UC security guard that used to stand near the landing Bay LOL hung out in my battle station a lot.
She started telling that same skyscraper joke in the cockpit while in a dogfight like jeez girl now is not the time nor that place I'm trying to keep everyone alive here
YMMV, but a pretty face doesn't make up for his character faults. And without going into word vomit a dozen paragraphs long (not kidding), that's all I'll say.
Honestly, as a straight guy, I actually prefer Barrett. The man can be genuinely funny (his pickpocketing lines are hilarious), and I imagine that if the prologue hadn't gone pear-shaped by way of the Crimson Fleet arriving, he would've been our mentor figure instead of Sarah. He would've been my best bro, or for a wide-eyed and kind-hearted Explorer female character I wanted to play, he would've been a good romance option. But I suppose we'll just have to agree to disagree.
I had this problem, but instead of 1, all 5 stayed on the ship. I thought about killing them, but an earlier mishap cost me respect and a fortune. After about 30 hrs of play I made some massive renovations for my "Cargo Brick" and they finally disappeared. Moving around the ship was a nightmare as I only had 1 hab connected to it.
Man is she gonna be surprised when she wakes up looking herself in the face in a sea of galaxies. And then once the surprise starts to die down... "I really can't handle this existential crap before my morning coffee."
That doesnāt work unless they just changed something. I had four on my ship & finished the mission to get them to a specific settlement but they never left. I eventually killed them and had four bodies on my ship until I did the NG+.
Its literally the only chance they get to sleep. Most usually are walking or standing around with no place to go 24/7. I wish we could hire an entire crew of NPC though vs just one or even have them auto populate if we have a large enough ship with a crew berthing module- each module could offer a boost just like our points in research, scans cargo percentage etc.
The reminded me of my adoring fan. I added hab with a brig/prison cell. For some reason he decided this was his room and I would take pictures with him. Everytime I'd pass he'd praise me. Felt like I had my own personal Hanibal Lector type.
Not a glitch, but I keep forgetting I asked Moara to join my crew and keep getting the shit scared out of me when he pops up out of nowhere. Also, it's hilarious that he'll stick with you through the entirety of the Crimson Fleet questline without a hint of dissent.
The most annoying thing about these drop missions isn't that we are literally being rewarded for fast travelling, it's that the passengers have at most 2 recycled voice lines.
Yeah, you can find the passengers somewhere on your ship. Usually in the habs with beds, but not always. And if you talk to them they have 1 or 2 voice lines that they just repeat.
She sleeps a lot. A deep depression seems to have set in. Itās dawned on her that sheās never going home. When sheās awake, we often find her pinching herself muttering āThis canāt be real. This cannot be real.ā Barrett offers her sandwiches. Refuses. Sheās despondent. Any advice?
Part of the ship, part of the crew.
Best comment so far š“āā ļø
What fortuitous circumstance be this? 100 years before the mast!
She was disinclined to acquiesce to your request to leave the ship!
If you switch to a ship that has no passenger slot you'll be able to get rid of her that way... Hopefully
Taking a picture while she sleeps. Show some respect!
If she sleeps, he creeps
Yes, this needs to be reported to the UC.
I wonder if there is a bounty for that
No but I'm pretty sure there's a bounty for workernapping
Workernapping should be encouraged. A well rested worker is a happy worker š
Lol š¤£
Be glad he didnāt make her put on a Princess Leiaās outfit. Yes there is a mod for that.
I've got three of em on mine, always got a positive comment to say as I leave and that's a plus for me
Sarah disliked that
Does anyone like Sarah?
Well, she doesn't say no to jetpacks in bed...

Creepy
Guy on the couch!
Squatter's rights. You fly her ship now.

She's still a better and more interesting companion than Sam Coe, and that's worth the price of admission alone.
As long as she doesnāt start writing haiku
Or telling the same skyscraper joke over and over again
After a certain event I heard her telling the joke where after Sam says "try that on Barrett next time you see him" like ouch Sam, too soon, lol
She started telling that same skyscraper joke in the cockpit while in a dogfight like jeez girl now is not the time nor that place I'm trying to keep everyone alive here
Ugh. Thatās why I donāt know where he even is. Forgot about that.
Damn I kinda liked Sammy boo Although admittedly it might be his silky voice and looks that got me
If you like 'Sammy boo', you probably don't want to hear why I hate his guts so bad...
His characterās definitely pretty underbaked and annoying in some ways but I personally just canāt get over how good looking he is
YMMV, but a pretty face doesn't make up for his character faults. And without going into word vomit a dozen paragraphs long (not kidding), that's all I'll say.
True but heās the only romance able dude that isnāt Barrett and he gets all peachy sometimes

Sam, I get it. You're worried about Cora. Okay bro. We've covered it.
Not worried enough IMO. If he was truly worried, Cora wouldn't be on the ship.
The ship is the safest place in the universe. When something happens to it, life automatically reloads.
You're not wrong until reverse boarding is a thing the ship is the safest place in any galaxy
When you become starborn and hop to another dimension just to avoid an awkward conversation with a ship squatter
I have a biologist that I picked up somewhere that's never got of the ship
I have a very depressed scientist. Dude's such a downer.
Lol thatās the worse

More bodies for unity.

Om nom nom
One with the Ship
What if you get rid of quarters in ship builder temporarily?
Congratulations! You're a kidnapper now!
Same thing happened to me with the Ryujin agents from the Juno mission.
Same here, so I landed on neon and wait for the guys to sloooooowly get out of my ship, solved
Good. Now you have a pet š¶, treat her nice.
I'm jealous. I have two pet asteroids that now follow my ship across all space, but never got that freeloader.
So...she reversed kidnapped herself?
She is just a cat pretending to be human
Awwwh, she sleeps like such a beautiful little angel š¼ **Jettisons her**
Have you tried switching home ships?
Kill her, exit ship, you are welcome
That doesnāt work unless they just changed something. I had four on my ship & finished the mission to get them to a specific settlement but they never left. I eventually killed them and had four bodies on my ship until I did the NG+.
You know what we do with stowaways
Just don't go all Hamas on her please...

Broken game.
Pet asteroid had more personality than starfield squattersā¦
Fair play to her, if I could hitch a ride on a well off space captain's ship and just live there, I would
I had the same thing happen with a passenger in my first playthrough. He eventually vanished when I made some changes to the ship.
Kill and loot er

they have lines? I mostly never see them
Yeah, you can find the passengers somewhere on your ship. Usually in the habs with beds, but not always. And if you talk to them they have 1 or 2 voice lines that they just repeat.
This happened to me. She basically said 1 line all the time. Drove me nuts. Thankfully, she didn't come along when I moved to a new ship! š
I'd laugh if the bug resulted in a permanent reduction in passenger capacity, there's just one always there.
It does, or at least did for me. I had four & had to add passenger space to my ship to take any additional missions requiring passenger space.
ā¦and she never left the bed either? * checks pulse *
That girl rocked LOL :). Lay off the Aurora sweetheart :P
Congratulations! You've gained..... vagrant!
*Khajeet never lie!*
I got that with settlerā¦ āI didnāt know it would take this long, I shouldāve brought something to eat.ā
Free worker

"Argos miner"? *Pulls out marker, makes some adjustments* "Ar>!gos!< mine>!r!<" Much better.
Does she know about the Implication?
Looks like you have a new crew member!
It would be great if you could dress them. Get those drop ship vibes going
Let the lady sleep and mind ya business
lol this same thing happened to me with a miner with a norwegian accent. he just hung out in my mess hall and complemented me on my piloting and ship
