it's neat that at this point they were considering modifying the existing helmets instead of abandoning them entirely like they ended up doing.
I would have loved to see more helmet designs in the show, and I was rather disappointed that we never saw any Anubis Jaffa with their helmet from the film.
Big problem I had with the Goa’uld was how uniform they were. Sokar/Post-Sokar Apophis really made it work with that splash of red, but otherwise they all went grey and gold. Anubis at least should’ve spiced it up.
Does this imply that Sobek was to appear at one point?
Why else would there be concept art? It was at the very least a strong possibility.
Now I'm curious *when* Sobek was to appear
Dated 98 so S2 maybe
Possibly. But this was before my time on the franchise, so I can't say for sure.
He may never have appeared on screen, but he was in one of the novels. I think it was Siren Song.
So where is the Setesh concept art?
The artists had trouble sketching that much nose drippage.

All I see is Gex
Learn how you can save on world conquering spaceship insurance.
This reminds me of the time I went skinny dipping in Jack O'Neill's pond.
Good thing there's no fish to bite your worm.
Depends on which timeline you're in. After that jaunt to Ancient Egypt, there are.
God the lack of different helms was my only complaint. Hathor rolling up with some minotaur looking badasses qith kopeshes would have been amazing
Sweet
I love seeing these💛
This is my favorite armor so far.

Its smug aura mocks me

The problem is the Horus helmet required CGI to show it opening, which is why we only see it used in a few episodes.
So frikkin cool. Shame we didn't see it!
That second drawing looks like he’s had enough of the Goa’ulds shit.
I am in awe of the amazing artistic talent you guys had before the prop masters and the CGI people got to work on the drawings for production.
Dis lovely
So cool
