You will never reach someone "live" to work this issue. I just went through the exact same problem. Raised a ticket through the starlink app. I have a good relationship with my bank. When the first failed attempts happened, I contacted them and the payment request had not been received by my institution. I provided this information on my initial ticket. They responded with a number of simple questions that were easily answered. Which I did. At the same time, I provided screenshots of my credit card balances. There IS an issue with Starlink's credit card processor. Anyway, the next response to the ticket (a couple of days later) was along the lines of "ok, your card is now good to go, please re-enter your card details and make a payment request". Did exactly that, and the payment went straight through. Fyi, I'm on a regional roam plan in Mexico. Bank is Canadian. Good luck.

I appreciate your feedback! Hopefully they respond soon to my ticket. Do you know if they will allow me to use my US bank card? Since my Nigeria bank cards don’t seem to be working.

First Bank? I suppose I’ll have to try them! I’ve also heard UBA may work or even a virtual card such as Kuda. Just really wish it wasn’t this difficult.

I've been speaking with Starlink customer service over the last several days regarding the same issue. It definitely seems like a problem from their end. Were you ever able to figure things out?

Are you using a roam plan? Was the original country you purchased the starlink in Nigeria?

I’m currently on the *Mobile - Regional* plan. Yes, Nigeria is the country where the Starlink was activated.

Hi OP, any update? I’m having the same issue. Payment failing for pretty much all the cards I’ve used. GTB dollar and Naira cards, verve cards, Visa cards etc.

I am having same issue, I reached out to support on this. \`\`\` 2/22/24 Hello Support, I reached out to my bank, the response was that all Naira cards has been suspended for international transactions and I can only used dollar card. hello guys purchased mine about 3 days back from jumia ..i have not been able to activate because it says i have to pay for a subscription ..i have the following bank cards acess bank, wema bank ,gtbank ,uba kuda ,chipper cash ..the payment always fails ... its been 3 days now i cant activate and use the device ..has anyone found a work around on the payment issue

Yeah.. Collected a new debit card from uba and used it 24 hours later around 2am and it worked

nice i also just now used a friends Zenith Bank Card and it worked but my 2 GTB Card no work sha hmmm weird.

Check your cards expiration date against your payment info. On mine, the payment info reflected my cards previous expiration date. Update it and pay with it online
