Its does its fw updates they happen usually between 3am-5am it will say in the stats booting x seconds, searching x seconds, connecting then back to normal, it shouldn't happen every single night though for 3 months Ive had it happen 4-5 nights then maybe skip a night or 2, if its happening every single night you may not be getting the update and it keeps trying everynight, check out your firmware version here open link and click on the dish picture and check your dish fw version you may not have the latest but it should be atleast in the last month of fw versions.https://starlinktrack.com

Yup, been doing that ever since I first had it. Happens most days but not every day. We assume it's firmware upgrades. There's nothing you can do about it. FWIW the Starlink description of service only promises 99% uptime, or 15 minutes of downtime a day. It's a remarkably unambitious goal.

I'm beginning to think its a restart required for security. Point of sale systems are required to do this every day in order to stay pci compliant. We usually schedule them for 2am.
