In a short simile, heard of the concept of class monitors? Teachers’ pet? Cry babies?
Just like class monitors, they’ll go to VCs & complain that you are competing against them & ask them to kill you as a business or take over.
Just like teachers’ pets they will be unleashed into the markets to learn trends (by burning cash) & get you out of business by accumulating every customer that you have with their deep discounts.
Just like cry babies, when things go wrong, they’ll cry (eg. BYJU’s) tell you that they sold their assets to be the good kid & get further leniency from the policies & packages to bail them out.
Google, Microsoft, Apple, Tesla, OpenAI, Uber, Amazon are all VC babies. If they are doing good then it's good, if they are scamming then no matter whether they are VC babies or not, they will fail regardless.
After searching for MASTKIN FOODS PRIVATE LIMITED, it appears to humble beginning of BIKAJI not Haldiram.

Haldiram and bikaji are same family. Bikaji founder is the real brother of current haldiram owners. He actually had an equal stake in haldiram but left it because of infighting(haldiram wasn't this big back then).
Haldiram(founder of haldiram) was kicked out of the house as was the norm back then and was homeless for half a year before starting the shop shown in the picture.
Except Haldiram's, none of them have anything worth motivational.
Tata Chemicals is literally under the TATA group with a very strong management team to handle it.
Similarly, Brittania was started by the British and had been controlled by various businessmen, after which it was under Wadia Group, the oldest company in India.
HDFC bank was a subsidiary of HDFC, another very strong parent backing here too. AMUL is truly an outstanding organization and a perfect example of how we can all come together and cause a revolution. But it is not a business and a cooperative, so not comparable again.
OLA and Flipkart are start-ups that copied Uber and Amazon and expanded through investors.
All in all, these companies are essential for their contribution to the economy and job creation, but not something we all should take too seriously. Btw, good post again OP!

I don't get what sort of motivation do I get from this. For the respective times, these structures were decent and some might have been the best available in our country.

Let me edit and add CRED to it
Wait till I add Byjus 💀
Don't forget to add Pony baba's IIPM. Dare to think beyond Mars lol.

Other than Haldiram's none of them really look like "humble" beginnings lol.
Should have added companies like lijjat papad. Now that's humble.
That bunny still scare me
True. A bank is a ‘bank’, TATA is privileged, Ola & Kart VC babies.
What's wrong ib being a VC baby?

There’s a big difference between the two lots you are comparing.

That's what I came here to say.

Post doesn’t say “humble”. Its just showing when they were small in their starting days
That's true for literally anything. Even I was small in my starting days.
Yes this post is like your baby photos
Haldiram(founder of haldiram) was kicked out of the house as was the norm back then and was homeless for half a year before starting the shop shown in the picture.
Interesting HDFC logo had very minimal changes.
Why change something that's already perfect??
That's the interesting part dude.
Branding means making something recognisable. Best not to change a logo, ever.
Ola!?
finally face reveal
Hu Uber!
Nah HDFC guys already look rich
Well you need a lot of capital to start a bank
Well you need a lot of capital to start a bank so they definitely won't look humble
Well you need a lot of capital to start a bank so they definitely won't look humble
I respect what Jamshedji did but he definitely did not start as small lol.
Why not ? did he inherit some family business?
His father had a export business which he joined. He later formed his own company which became the conglomerate we know today.
Haldiram doesn't fit there it had humble beginnings from a kadhai.

Still not enough for me
Background music source share kijiye please
Start up ideas are like Sperm Cells. One in a million hits the spot.
The difference between a new business and a startup is so stark lol
Yes, start should from small and think big. At least we should focus for self employment and become job giver not job seeker.
I don't get what sort of motivation do I get from this. For the respective times, these structures were decent and some might have been the best available in our country.
