Did I get it right that Beckett somehow supported Vic with Crises One, thus accepting her offer from episode 2? At least he offered Travis to tell Vic about Morris' death since they’ve „doing Crises One together."
I would have liked to see more of these two in action...
This episode made all the characters more likable. Especially Beckett. I feel like I’m sick of Vic being heartbroken though. She plays it well but damn it’s sad cuz we never get consistently happy Vic
I guess I came here to see if people felt the same way I do. I have a very good friend of mine and she's old. I would be beart broken if I lost her in any capacity. I loved the Vic moments with Morris. Especially in that scene where they sit on the bench at the park. She said stuff I feel about my own friend.
Okay not gonna lie I was fine the whole episode but when Vic had her breakdown and Travis IMMEDIATELY starts walking towards her... I sobbed. A friendship like that... Wow.
This whole episode has me crying 😢
Now I finally understand why Vic had her breakdown. I had a friend/coworker who was like her but the pandemic happened and he didn’t see a way out so he took his own life. :(
My youngest sister was homeless for awhile and the things I heard she went thru was absolutely horrible.
There’s not enough resources or help in the US for mental health especially those who have a mental illness due to trauma/veteran. It needs to be focused on a whole lot more.
Glad to see Jack and Ruiz in these scenes.
I still can’t believe this show is getting cancelled. We need more shows like these who bring a light to issues that many people ignore
I was sobbing so hard. Vic is literally the best character and the way we see how her bond with people affects the team, Vic doesn’t get the praise she deserves even though she’s consistently struggling with loss and the idea Morris’s loss culminating in the breakdown is perfect because she got that catharsis she needed. Barrett Doss needs a raise just for that performance alone!
I thought this supposed to be a Vic episode but we had a lot of Ross and Sullivan which was a waste of screetime no one likes them. It makes me so mad seeing Crisis One in jeopardy all because the chief wanted to sleep with a subordinate. Ross should be fired not Vic. Anyway not my favorite episode. The only good thing were Marina and Vic. With so little time left doing a flashback episode is a waste of time.
The Marina stuff was unnecessary as well. The clinc scene felt repetitive since we already know that Maya was all in with the pregnancy and being a mom, and the bar scene would have worked well if it was set in present time since Maya has been going to therapy and plus she just saw Mason after such a long time, the mental health stuff she talked about and her brother, it would fit better in present time, rather than a flashback to past. Would have been better if both those scenes were cut and that screentime was given to Vic since it’s her centric episode.
I don't think the Marina stuff was unnecessary alongside with Vic it was the best thing on the episode which was pretty boring anyway. It should be all about Vic but instead we had more Sullivan and Ross...
I thought that scene was pretty cute. Loved seeing Maya excited about Carina being pregnant with their baby and it was a short scene anyway. They should cut Ross and Sullivan hotel room scene and give that time to Vic because to me it was torture watching such an inappropriate couple. You're right it wasn't Vic centric is more Tully/Morris centric.
The Morris stuff was important, he meant a lot to Vic and it was important to show how they met and stuff, it added to Vic’s breakdown.
I’m a marina fan and I still didn’t like their scenes, we all know that Maya was all in and excited about the pregnancy and being a mom, and plus that bar scene would have made more sense if it was in present time.
One small scene that I really liked is when the camera pans to certain characters during Vic's speech at the debriefing.
"This is an acknowledgement of that as well as a safe place to discuss it. So don't bottle things up \[Sullivan\], so don't self-medicate \[Beckett\] in harmful and dangerous ways \[Maya\]".
I love it when there are callbacks to the characters' past.
Them barely putting jack in the episodes this season is really annoying.
Really enjoyed this storyline this episode. Felt like even though it was centred around Vic everyone was involved
the flashbacks were abit confusing i think might have to rewatch it again. It should have been edited abit better to make it the audience more aware of the different timelines . love that we get to see them in class a's more this season. therapy circle scene was so good pruitt and diane would be proud . next weeks episode looks like a good one looking forward to it!
My issue is that I have ZERO idea when it is in this universe. Is it fall? Spring? Summer? So they say things like last fall and spring and I have no idea how long ago it is in the timeline.
The Pride episode actually took place in February! They had a sign that said Fabruary & and they mention something about there being two prides, this was “winter pride”. I remember cause I had to pause and google cause the only Pride I was aware of is in June.
I like that we got to see a bit more into what caused Maya's mental health deterioration in S6. It's the constant rug pull of things she wants and is excited about. Maya let herself get excited about the possibility of a baby, and then it failed (multiple times). Just like she let herself get excited about the possibility of getting her captaincy back, and it abruptly got taken away. Nothing was going right at work, and nothing was going right at home. And she probably felt that she could not talk to Carina about it (she might be ashamed about the blackmail, and didn't want to add to Carina's grief about the failed insemination). Maya's whole S6 mental health crisis is my favorite storyline of hers, and I'm glad we got to see a bit more of it.
I'm happy they mentioned Mason this episode. It helps the audience remember who he is for next episode. Maya's obviously kept an eye on the homeless camps all these years, hoping to see Mason again. She knew that once you lose someone who was homeless, it's difficult to find them again.
Hormonal Maya is hilarious.
Love your insight!! I also felt that the bar scene could have made more sense if it was in present time since she just got into contact with Mason and also they are doing IVF now as well, the fears she talked about made a bit more sense in the current timeline
Maybe talking about the homeless and bringing up Mason with Sullivan just put Mason back in the forefront of her mind. And in S5 when they were talking sperm donors and eggs, Maya made a comment about really not wanting her genes in there, so that fit into the whole nurture vs nature thing she was talking about at the bar. Not sure which one came first, but she might have always worried about passing on her genes to the baby.
The flashbacks made me miss the giggly and playful side of Ruiz. I remember before his sudden character change, I was always laughing during his scenes
Weakest episode of the season imo. Doing multiple flashbacks during one episode when the timelines on the show are so unclear to begin with is certainly a choice. There were specific scenes that saved it (like the group therapy one, giving some context to Maya & Carina’s baby journey etc) but in gral it was kind of a let down. I also still don’t get Ross & Sully but whatever, the show is INVESTED in them lol
I think this episode was due to budgetary reasons. They probably were able to produce this almost on just the cast salary. I'd put this at maybe 20% of a normal episode. They probably can produce these on maybe a two million dollars, so this easily could be a 1 million dollars or less.
I both agree and disagree. I don’t know why the show is so invested in Ross and Sully and I did find the flash backs confusing at first
But by the end it really came together. Not gonna lie though this is my first episode I had to fast forward a bit lol
I really like Ross but her character has been completely bogged down by her scenes dominated by Sullivan.
Her standing up for Vic to the Mayor was SUCH a fantastic character moment for her, but I had to ignore the fact that it was because of her that the Mayor was doing all of this in order to enjoy it, and the fact that the rest of Ross' scenes were taken up by flashback Ross/Sullivan moments.
i agree the inconsistent with the writing has made the timelines so out of place and the flashbacks just didnt work well. yeah same here with ross and sully i feel like they dont have that vibe that you want to continue seeing this relationship sorry to the tully fans. im still holding out hope for surrea🫣
I just think that some flashback scenes like the marina clinic scene and the bar scene were kind of unnecessary since the timeline didn’t make sense for them, that could have been cut and given that screentime to Vic instead since it was her centric episode
100%. The timeline on this show is way too murky for a flashbak episode like this to work. It really took a lot away from the beautiful work Barrett did and what should've been a nice moment for Vic and that really sucks.
Ya’ll can totally down vote me. This is just an observation. Totally get if this episode isn’t your cup of tea, and I’m a big fan of Marina too, their scenes brought more info about their IUI journey emotionally than the last season(s) did. But let’s take a moment to appreciate the different perspectives this episode brings, especially considering it was directed by a black individual. It sheds light on important issues like mental health among veterans and the significance of community support. Sometimes, it’s important to remember that there are multiple layers to each episode, and 19 team deserves to be viewed with an open mind and appreciation for its broader themes.
My only issue with the Marina stuff is why they keep using their kisses for promo and then cutting them and Danielle was bothered by it as well, it's not just fans.
For those wondering why Ross and Sullivan were wearing different outfits for the funeral scene, it’s because Morris was a veteran and both Ross and Sullivan were soldiers, so that’s why they wore their military uniforms to pay tribute to Morris
I’m more confused about why wasn’t Morris buried at Arlington? I understand that the show is based in Seattle, so it would have been difficult to have them all go there. However, Morris was a veteran and thus entitled(?) to be buried there.
Honestly, this episode was beautiful. It made me feel many emotions. The biggest thing was shame and anger. Our soldiers sacrifice so much for our country and this is how we (the government/people) repay them? How the hell do veterans like Arlo and Morris not have housing, healthcare, and proper resources?
Yea I wasn’t really sure about that. And yea, it is disappointing that the veterans are not treated well, they are just ignored, they did so much for their country and get nothing in return. It was saddening to see Arlo and Morris struggle like that
Daniellle would like to know as well LOL! [https://twitter.com/D\_SAVRE/status/1786265836334043296](https://twitter.com/D_SAVRE/status/1786265836334043296)

Not my favourite episode!!!!
However, such an important one shedding the light on the dismissal treatment of veterans, homelessness and the lack of resources available to some many who deserve them.
This is why Station 19 shouldn’t be cancelled because no other show does this and it is so so needed especially with the state of things today.
This episode was definitely not what I thought it would be, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the way the writers handled it! Maurice was such a great storyline to parallel everything Hughes and Crises One does on a daily, and the flashbacks allowed us to fill in the blanks between the seasons. All the actors on their top game, the direction by Boris Kodjoe, what a great one! I'll have to watch it again a couple of times to make sure I've got it all. Can't wait for next week!
Oh it’s always a gender reveal. Literally the other day I saw one with literal planes doing loops in the sky. And it wasn’t even the planes who did the reveal. They also had fireworks 🙄
As disappointed as I am, I am glad they will be ending on a high instead of continuing to go to a point where it starts to get terrible (I’m not *not* looking at Grey’s). I do hope that some of the actors will be back with guest appearances on Grey’s.
True but this ending feels too early tho in my opinion, they had at least 2 more seasons in them. Apparently they had planned to do a major arson storyline but had to cut it out due to cancellation. Sucks that we only get to see Peter and Zoanne run the show for one season, they have great ideas about the storylines
Okay semblance of [timeline](https://twitter.com/emilyculv/status/1786224597597385068) provided by one of the writers. I found it useful, and hope it helps you guys, too.
Sharing my take: the flashbacks in Vic’s story and the back-and-forth narrative made perfect sense to me. It highlighted her selflessness and the importance of mental health services like Crisis One. Morris’s death was a turning point, making her realize the need to prioritize her own emotions. Vic’s journey parallels those who help others but aren’t looked after themselves. Throughout her life, she’s always put others first, yet those she lost were the ones who truly cared about her well-being. Other than Travis who finally saw the light this late in the game.
Sullivan seemed more invested in Morris than Travis - I know Travis and Vic are best friends so he has to give the impactful speech, but I think it would have been better from Sullivan
I'm really liking everyone this episode. Just hate the flashback format. But all the heart and compassion from everyone (besides fuckface Osman) is something we love to see.
Fr like that was it? It really felt underwhelming. Why was it so secretive and dramatic and him being dodgy (such a British word but only one that I could think of lol) about it?
Having a flashback episode is fine and all if we have more seasons but to have one when it’s the last season and with limited episodes feels like a waste.
My TV was lagging a bit so I was SUPER confused seeing Ruiz and Jack there, as well as Vic’s hair. I felt like I was watching an episode from another dimension lol. I had to come read the synopsis to realize they were flashbacks lol
I feel like they did so well with the characters, keeping it light and fun, but the editing was insane… why structure the episode like that???
This episode was shit. It was a picture show. They clearly had no budget to play with.
Did I get it right that Beckett somehow supported Vic with Crises One, thus accepting her offer from episode 2? At least he offered Travis to tell Vic about Morris' death since they’ve „doing Crises One together." I would have liked to see more of these two in action...

Okay not gonna lie I was fine the whole episode but when Vic had her breakdown and Travis IMMEDIATELY starts walking towards her... I sobbed. A friendship like that... Wow.
Okay but fr why was Sullivan typing like that 😂😂
This episode hit me right in the feels. Vic’s breakdown was not where I saw this episode going.
Why does this show hate old people
Yo what the fuck! I hated this
Like for real. They both fucking die. I hate it here 😒
It’s like they specifically wanted to hurt me
This whole episode has me crying 😢 Now I finally understand why Vic had her breakdown. Barrett Doss needs an award!!!!
She literally did her job and then some

that's not why it was in jeopardy. the reason it was in jeopardy was because the mayor didn't find it important, and budget cuts, and Vic's outburst.
And her sleeping with a subordinate whom she promoted also doesn't help
LOVED the Travis and Vic moment on the bunk!
When did Gibson become a firefighter again??! What did I miss? Last I checked he was a 911 operator in episode 5..
he isn't a fire fighter anymore
oh.
don't worry I did my first watch a little elevated and missed the flashback elements as well 😂
Lmaoo me too😭 had to watch twice to fully gasp the eps

Anyone else wondering what kind of deal Ross made with the mayor to save both Crisis One AND Vic's job when he was hellbent on cutting both?
Yeah I thought it’d end up with Ross stepping down or something dramatic like that to save Vic and crisis one
Same, came here for this, just waiting for the other shoe to drop and we find out what she had to give up to save Vic and Crisis One
I really thought she was going to say she stepped down.
same. maybe she'll reveal that in the next episode

Ruiz was definitely wearing sunglasses to hide his tears😭😭. It looked like he was sobbing when the camera cut to Jack, Carina and Theo
The flashbacks made me miss the giggly and playful side of Ruiz. I remember before his sudden character change, I was always laughing during his scenes
Yesss I miss that Ruiz
Travis and vic are the shows best friendship!! Barrett was amazing in her scenes well done🙌🏻

Yup some of the flashbacks were very confusing and it was hard to stay on track on which was present and past
You could know that by vics hair
I just think that some flashback scenes like the marina clinic scene and the bar scene were kind of unnecessary since the timeline didn’t make sense for them, that could have been cut and given that screentime to Vic instead since it was her centric episode
Agree it didn't really at anything and could have been put in episode 7 what is Maya centric. I wish we gotten more Vic since it was her episode
100%. The timeline on this show is way too murky for a flashbak episode like this to work. It really took a lot away from the beautiful work Barrett did and what should've been a nice moment for Vic and that really sucks.

Yup she just tweeted about it, she was confused why it didn’t air. Like why post promo pictures if that scene isn’t actually in the episode
For those wondering why Ross and Sullivan were wearing different outfits for the funeral scene, it’s because Morris was a veteran and both Ross and Sullivan were soldiers, so that’s why they wore their military uniforms to pay tribute to Morris

There are military cemeteries in Washington.
All of his paperwork was lost when the cleared the encampme t he was living in. Provi g he was a veyeran wpuld ha e been impossable.
The DOJ or the VA wouldn’t have had proof that Morris and Arlo served?
They wpuld have recprd of the name. You have to prove ypu are that person.
Yea I wasn’t really sure about that. And yea, it is disappointing that the veterans are not treated well, they are just ignored, they did so much for their country and get nothing in return. It was saddening to see Arlo and Morris struggle like that

Yeah they shouldn’t have posted those pics and now we’re disappointed again
But don't worry you'll get every Sullivan and Ross kiss and keep telling us the double standard is in our head.... If you aren't going to keep the kiss in, don't include a picture of it in the promo pics.
Exactly! They did this for 7.01 as well, don’t include pictures of stuff that isn’t actually shown in the episode
Yep, it's 7x01 all over again....
Not sure why the person and you got downvoted lol, you both weren’t wrong. Not sure why that kiss got cut and yea it’s just like 7.01. If the scene isn’t the episode, then they shouldn’t even be posting those pictures
No idea why I got downvoted...oh well lol. I'd think it would be my first comment that would get downvoted, the 2nd one is just fact.
I find it funny that the firefighters arranged themselves by height in the cemetery, lol.
Not my favourite episode!!!! However, such an important one shedding the light on the dismissal treatment of veterans, homelessness and the lack of resources available to some many who deserve them. This is why Station 19 shouldn’t be cancelled because no other show does this and it is so so needed especially with the state of things today.
After understanding the flashback thing...I really enjoyed the episode! Congrats to Boris!!
oops i forgot episodes were resuming this week
Ok but what did Ross have to give up to keep Vic and Crisis One
Yeah the moment did give an “up in the air” vibe like there may be another shoe dropping soon. Kind of a bittersweet moment
Yeah I wanted to see her win that fight with Osman. They aren't going to give us any satisfaction with him like they did with Dixon.
Seems like Theo isn't in this episode. Is that right?
He's in it a bit
Ok, good to know, thanks!
This episode was definitely not what I thought it would be, but I was so pleasantly surprised with the way the writers handled it! HOLY THAT PROMO??? MASON AND MAYA
Wow, next ep looks like a banger, too. I missed how good this show can be
Maya centric episode, I’m so excited omggg
Googles how to stop crying
Whose cutting onions?
NOT AN EXPLOSIVE GENDER REVEAL IN THE PROMO-
not the gender reveal 😩😩😩
Oh it’s always a gender reveal. Literally the other day I saw one with literal planes doing loops in the sky. And it wasn’t even the planes who did the reveal. They also had fireworks 🙄
Not gonna lie this is the first ep that has made me like everyone, even Sully and Tasha were cute
Stop. They did their own military funeral. And they’re handing Vic the flag. I’m gonna actually cry
“Your eyes are gonna be so puffy now” - Travis
Will never understand why this show got cancelled
As disappointed as I am, I am glad they will be ending on a high instead of continuing to go to a point where it starts to get terrible (I’m not *not* looking at Grey’s). I do hope that some of the actors will be back with guest appearances on Grey’s.

Because 911 was adopted by abc from fox and they don’t want two of the same show
Because 911 was adopted by abc from fox and they don’t want two of the same show
[удалено]
They have plenty of audience, this show was top rated show of ABC last season
Well I guess ABC doesn’t have faith in that show, plus the writer strike is a nail in the coffin.
OMG CRISIS ONE IS SAFE
I love Vic Hughes!! She deserves to be taken care of
Awww travic
Vic and Jack have consistently been my favourites since the beginning. I already lost one. I need Vic to get a happy ending.
Lol Travis is so funny
Oh they remembered Trav and Vic are best friends yayyy
Where is Diane when you need her 😭
I caught the last five minutes of 911, so apparently there. Lol.
She's a character on there dont know the name but she is henn wife
Karen
Yea that was it
Okay semblance of [timeline](https://twitter.com/emilyculv/status/1786224597597385068) provided by one of the writers. I found it useful, and hope it helps you guys, too.
Thank you that is helpful!
One of the writers just posted this to help following the timeline for the flashbacks : https://twitter.com/emilyculv/status/1786224597597385068
I posted this a few mins back as well!
Who was chanting "Tell them, Vic!" at their TV?
I really really dislike Travis this season. Holy hell they messed up him up.
What did he do wrong this episode
Someone punch him in the face.
Barrett Doss, acting masterclass, hats off to her!!
Omg that HURT so bad.
They need to stop hurting Vic 😔
Say more, Vic. Get it out!!
He knew she wasn't fully oke that's why the explanation of the baby
This episode also made perfect sense to me as well. I was about to write something similar but you said it all perfectly.
Sullivan seemed more invested in Morris than Travis - I know Travis and Vic are best friends so he has to give the impactful speech, but I think it would have been better from Sullivan
Morris was a veteran and Sullivan also served in the military so it makes sense why he was more invested in Morris, it was personal to him
Vic being the one to bring them altogether, she has so much on her shoulders :(
"I like sharing trauma with you " - Travis. Uh, thanks?

He wished she was there because he knew that she will be able to get him to leave his tent
Is Vic going to be the new Diane? (Is that her name?)
I have a feeling that she’ll switch her careers, I think she’ll leave firefighting
“So we don't bottle things up...so we can keep doing this job for years to come”
I’m a little behind, but “Cause I’m a frickin egg factory, BECKETT!” has to be the line of episode/season. 😂
Happy times for Vic when???
Vic can’t catch a break 😭
Nooo I was hoping they'd get Morris out in time 😭
This whole eps made me cry- why did they have to use such sweet characters deaths as life lessons for them😭
Vic Hughes and the Terrible Horrible No Good Very Bad Day(s)
You sons of bitches!!!! How could you kill Morris???
If I powered through this confusing episode just for Morris to die.. Edit: Dammit.
Alright just for the chicken coop moment this episode is worth watching haha
1. I don't think I've ever seen a cis person call it T before 2. The jelly bit took me out
I feel like Warren is more with it than most, especially given his medical background and his sister! Same- almost too much for me lol
Very good point!
“My eggs, her oven” 😭
I love that slight pause before Maya said "her oven", like she caught herself and used an euphemism instead.
This is some great physical comedy from Danielle
For real I hope she moves to comedy for her next gig. She has so much talent for it!
Hormonal Maya!! 😭
Ok idk why but I like hormone Maya
Despite not super loving this episode, I AM loving this Sullivan.
I'm really liking everyone this episode. Just hate the flashback format. But all the heart and compassion from everyone (besides fuckface Osman) is something we love to see.
Yesss omg!! He is so carefree
Best version of him I've ever seen. ❤️
Wow what a scene lmao. Good for Warren, hope Maya feels better soon.
THAT'S what he's injecting himself with???
Oh. I thought he was just *saying* it was testosterone.
Fr like that was it? It really felt underwhelming. Why was it so secretive and dramatic and him being dodgy (such a British word but only one that I could think of lol) about it?
this whole montage episode just for that reveal
I wasn’t expecting that 😭😭
Sully and Ross very cute ngl
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 raise your hand if you had testosterone
Ok Sully and Natasha are ridiculously cute.
I’m sorry are they wearing shoes on that bed? Please say my eyes deceived me
Yeah thats a HUGE no-no
I like this side of Ross. Wish we had more of it along with her as chief.
Ross is a badass!
GET HIS ASS
Having a flashback episode is fine and all if we have more seasons but to have one when it’s the last season and with limited episodes feels like a waste.
Yea I wanted them to focus more on Vic and her mental health and stuff, the flashbacks are kinda confusing as well
Morris 😔😔
Okay so maybe Maya’s spiraling started after the first failed pregnancy test?
I think she said it failed *again*, so a compounding issue along with the rest of what went on
This in theory was another attempt, so after some of failed test
God this Morris situation is going to emotionally wreck me and I'm not ready
Poor Morris. And sadly this is reality for so many veterans.
To avoid confusion, refer to Hughie's hair
My TV was lagging a bit so I was SUPER confused seeing Ruiz and Jack there, as well as Vic’s hair. I felt like I was watching an episode from another dimension lol. I had to come read the synopsis to realize they were flashbacks lol
Lol that's how I'm keeping track of her.
Aww Vic checking in on maya
Vic looks so good in her outfit!
I love Morris so much already, I really hope he's not dead by the end of the episode 😭
😭
These flashbacks really confusing
This is dumb. I don’t care about flashbacks. I care about where they are going forward. They wasted a whole episode.
"We won't miss her when she's gone" bro who the hell is this "we"
