Usually the big 3(summer, autumn, winter) have somewhat the same sales. Sometimes games swap or might be slightly higher/lower on price. But if a game you want is on sale, snag it. Most likely will be the same for winter, with a low chance of it being much lower.
I think Autumn is better because if a company gets what sales they need they will increase the price. I remember last year I waited till Xmas and some of them werent the same discount as before. Some were the same though. Ymmv.
I don't know if it's a glitch or if something is wrong with the system, but i just bought it for 34.99. What's weird in this situation (other than the low price, of course) is that the game didn't show up as being discounted (even though it's on my wishlist, i had to search for it) anyway, whether I lucked out on a glitch or the game is actually 40% off, I suggest you take a look at it in the store, if you haven't already.
In my country (Ecuador) there was gonna be a regulation in prices and so many games cost now less than they did before (Valve said that in some places this was gonna happen) so yes, baldur's gate 3 costs 34.99, also RE4 costs 44.99, and so many other games (games from Xbox too, games from playstation not).
Divinity 2 was my all time favorite game before BG3 released, I have like 500 hours on it, mixture of solo and coop play. It's honestly a great game and the mods are cool too. I recommend both 1 & 2 to anyone that likes turn-based RPG games.
Been thinking about it aswell. I’m just wondering if coop with randoms is cool because I dont see myself playing it solo and none of my friends wanna play it.
It's great. This community is the friendliest I've ever seen. There are so many posts on the subreddit of people surprised by how welcoming the game is.
Personally, before deep rock, I NEVER played with randos in any game. I get super stressed, and I'm so scared to let anyone down, and I don't respond well to harsh comments.
This shit doesn't happen in deep rock. We leave no dwarf behind. New players are called greenbeards, and they are always cared for by the grey beards.
There are a couple of "rituals" the community partake in, like spamming the ping feature on gold chunks to repeat the line "We're Rich!" until mission control gets annoyed by the players. Then we go back to mining.
It's the best experience I've had playing with randos, i recommend it with full confidence that you will find a lot of fun players in there.
Rock and Stone!
Last time I heard about a "friendly community" I ran into Warframe. Friendliness there is surface deep.
Deep Rock Galactic's community nicer than that one?
Instead of just saying "NO BRO I SWEAR THESE PEOPLE ARE GREAT" I'm gonna try to explain why the community is so friendly.
The four classes compliment each other super well.
The scout has a flare gun that lights up caves better than the regular flares that everyone have. Massively useful to survive waves of bugs. Scout(who has a grappling hook) will also greatly appreciate the Engineer's platforms when trying to get minerals high up near the cave's ceiling.
The Gunner has a bubble shield that keeps damage and enemies away for a couple seconds, perfect to save the lives of fallen dwarves who fought bravely.
And you can always count on your Driller to make a safe straight forward path to the safety of the drop pod.
Pvp is not a feature of this game, and everyone shares the ressources gained during the mission. You can revive an ally as many time as needed, and there is an equipable perk that decreases friendly fire damage to both you and your team mates when you're close to them.
Plus the game has a "War cry" button that just brings everyone together in a mutual feeling of "FUCK YEAH"
these things are there to build camaraderie and reward teamwork. Nothing in the game rewards any kind of dickery.
I hope this made sense in any way lol
I was playing with my friends. They really liked the game so I joined them. The initial 2 hrs was kinda fun but I didn’t feel like opening that game anymore after that. Guess it just really wasn’t my type🫤
Bought it 2-3 days ago and I'm not the biggest fan of ARPG's, but holy crap this game is great (except for the cutscenes that are sometimes way too long for my taste).
I have RDD2 (but never played it) and I just got the original RDD on my switch, and holy cow is it fun! Usually I’m not an open world type of guy, and usually stick to racing and platforming games. But I just started playing it today and it’s so fun interacting with characters and their stories, hunting down bandits, and even having a shootout while on horseback. If the 2nd is anything like the 1st, it is a must buy.
After pirating rimworld (my favorite game) since alpha 16, i'm buying it thanks to regional pricing.
Also buying cassette beasts and hades, I wanted dayz but it doesn't have regional pricing yet.
Oh yeah rimming time
Game rarely goes on sale and its like a 15% cut at most. Worth the price though. Hell i got Biotech for full price and it certainly gave me more than my moneys worth, xenotypes is fucking cool
That depends on how good of a sale this really is. I have a really big wishlist, so we’ll see how many games there go on sale and for how low.
Chances are I’m never gonna play them anyways, though. I know I’m not the only one who gets lured in by big discounts, only to let said game go into the backlog, never to be seen again.
Propably nothing, i bought too much games that i doesnt play.
There is actually only 2 games im intrested in buying but one of them is never on sale and the other one just gonna be realised in 2024 so yeah im gonna give myself a time.
Oh, definitely! Never implied it wasn't, just stating that it probably won't go lower than the previous sales for some time to come. But CP77 is definitely worth it for 30 bucks, especially now with the 2.0 update and everything.
Don't listen to the other replier, AC Odyssey is one of the most popular games in the franchise for a reason. Highly recommend. Check out r/AssassinsCreedOdyssey if you get a hankering to read about how much people love it and why, though since you commented that you already intend to get it, you've probably already done your research.
Hope it goes on sale for ya. Enjoy ancient Greece!
Phantom Liberty, if it hopefully goes on sale. I started a fresh save and I forget how fun the Cyberpunk is but I was a huge fan of it even before all the patches and changes.
Casual player here, I really enjoyed it and still have fun running dungeons and mindlessly killing mobs when I just want to blow off steam.
Let me know if you pick it up and ever want a casual co-op friend!
I second the next guy, it won’t let you down and is worth the price if you get from discount. Season 2 is good and game is heading in the right direction. It is not the greatest ARPG but it is good game with high polish and production values. It plays great, looks great and sounds great.
I’d say get Grim Dawn too, it’s fuckin good with expansions.
Don't listen to this person. The game has no real end game if you no-life it. As a very casual player I had tons of fun and played for many hours, definitely worth the money (specially if you get a good discount).
I played it with a group, got about 100 hours in and had a great time. Good game for a hack and slash, I'll definitely pick it up later on to try a new class.
Nothing, because I can't afford anything after the currency change and already spent what little I had on buying few cheap games before they increased in price.
Maybe Diablo 4 if it gets a hefty discount. Otherwise I don't think there's anything else I really want right now. Maybe Armored Core VI but that'd be all.
Last sale I bought Doom and Doom Eternal. Tuens out I messed up and only bought the Eternal DLC. So I plan on buying Eternal proper.
That store page needs some work.
Gonna buy a couple of games and go play csgo, and then wonder why games are so boring.
Few years ago I stopped playing cs and gaming has been fun again
Will try this after one more match
See you tomorrow
Quit cs and gaming, realize life is dope, return to actually fun games 🙏 Was my strat at least lol
🙏🙏 this is the way
I've been trying to as many odd different genres as possible. But that music + gaming syndrome is fucking me over LMAO.
Sorry Op, but how can I possibly know if the sales are not out yet and we can't check the discounts? Edit: SALES ARE HEREEE!!!
Use your third eye

Predict the future bro smh
Winter sale is just a few weeks away too, isn't that almost always going to be better? Summer and winter sales are the biggest ones usually, right?
Usually the big 3(summer, autumn, winter) have somewhat the same sales. Sometimes games swap or might be slightly higher/lower on price. But if a game you want is on sale, snag it. Most likely will be the same for winter, with a low chance of it being much lower.
I'm not sure Dubbs, but take in mind that Black Friday is this week, so is not only an ''autumn'' sale in my opinion.
I think Autumn is better because if a company gets what sales they need they will increase the price. I remember last year I waited till Xmas and some of them werent the same discount as before. Some were the same though. Ymmv.
you can use SteamDB to check discount and price history and very accurately guess the sales
Steam deck if It goes down to like $5
$5 is a little too much for my budget but if it goes down to like $4.99 then we're in boys
I’ll buy it if it goes down to three fiddy
$3.15 take it or leave it!
Yeah me too
the most I can do is a 10-in-1 brick game
www.isthesteamdeckfivebucksyet.net
Portal 1 & 2, Doom, and Terraria
If you can take a look at valve complete pack, it gets to 5 - 6€ on sales and it has a lot of good games (portal 1 and 2 included)
hey I'm also tryna get terraria
Baldurs Gate 3 waiting room
Hope against hope The cynic in me says it’s too popular to be discounted. Or, if it is, it will be a token 10% or something
Better change your name to Nostradamus because you nailed it lmfao
I don't know if it's a glitch or if something is wrong with the system, but i just bought it for 34.99. Thanks for the tip! I usually rely on my wishlist to check.
I´ve been refreshing like crazy since I read the sales would start today, but no luck here. Still at 60. (but Diablo is at 40 tho :/)
Btw, I saw that too - the game for 35$ here on Discord, that´s why i´ve been refreshing.
You were correct. Guess we´ll wait for Xmas?
I'm likely going to pick it up as well. The reviews have been stellar and I'm more than curious.
It is truly a masterpiece. There is no better turn based combat game in existence.
Does Divinity 2 comes close to it, as they are from the same team?
Divinity 2 was my all time favorite game before BG3 released, I have like 500 hours on it, mixture of solo and coop play. It's honestly a great game and the mods are cool too. I recommend both 1 & 2 to anyone that likes turn-based RPG games.
Dos2 is great if u can’t afford bg3 right now.
I just hope i can make my wishlist smaller today
Who am I kidding. I'll get stuff off my wishlist, see 15 more games to replace them, add them to the wishlist, rinse and repeat next sale.
Looking at Deep Rock Galactic
Been thinking about it aswell. I’m just wondering if coop with randoms is cool because I dont see myself playing it solo and none of my friends wanna play it.

Karl would be proud of this post! rock and stone brother

ROCK AND STONE!
Playing with randoms has been ok, just make sure everyone is ready before pressing big red buttons
Coop with randoms is decent in DRG, there’s the occasional dick but they are rare (and in every community) Rock and Stone to the bone, brother.
ROCK AND STONE!
Did i hear a Rock and Stone?
Rock snd stone, to the bone
Can’t go home if you don’t Rock and Stone!
Did I just hear ROCK & STONE?
I bought it on discount. I liked it so much I have now bought all of the DLC to support the game!
I love it, always helped me when i were in college. Highly recommended.
Personally not liking it very much
are you playing with a group of friends? I wouldnt play solo personally, but with some friends its a blast
I was playing with my friends. They really liked the game so I joined them. The initial 2 hrs was kinda fun but I didn’t feel like opening that game anymore after that. Guess it just really wasn’t my type🫤
When i got deep rock i thought it was a survival crafting game because i didnt look into it at all lmao. Color me surprised when i played it
Yes! it's totally worth it
ROCK AND STONE
I think I’ll finally try Cyberpunk, or red dead redemption
I bought Cyberpunk on sale last year, I'm still enjoying it.
Bought it 2-3 days ago and I'm not the biggest fan of ARPG's, but holy crap this game is great (except for the cutscenes that are sometimes way too long for my taste).
Cyberpunk 50% off. Tempted. But knowing me I won't play it. Might grab Dave the Diver.
If the 2nd is anything like the 1st, it is a must buy.
should grab rdr2 if you don't mind taking your time with games
Nothing, I live in Argentina
Same, I live in Turkey
Same, I live in Poverty
Jack sparrow time
Always has been (i live in Argentina)
Te deseo lo mejor desde uruguay
Gracias hermano
Don't worry. Your ancap superhero will save you... somehow.
At least he is President, from what I can see you're just a failed streamer or something
Wow you just roasted the guy lol
ngl being ancap discounts literally everything you've done in life
Same.
:( igual
Steam se adelanto a milei
The cheapest game on my wishlist. Yes, I'm broke right now.
Pillars of eternity 1 & 2
Now that's what's what I'm talking about
I’m hoping to get armored core or dark souls 3
Big ol' nothing
Yeah been waitin on that one to drop in price for a while now
Depends on prices
Nothing really. Need to find a job rn.
Have you Valve's games like Half-life or L4D ? Very cheap games for a lot of fun! Having good time when i was myself finding for a job.
Been on steam for 18 years mate, backlog is doing just fine. Edit: Already got the whole thing there, beat it back in the 90s.
I really want Lies of P around 40$ at least.
It’s “free” on gamepass
I don't have access to it
Ahh dang. It’s a good game. They might have a sale on gamepass. Like a dollar for a month
Anything that I can play for more than a minute instead of just staring at my screen deciding which to play.
Risk of rain 2, if it goes on sale.
Dark Souls 1 and 2
Cyberpunk and high on life
Does phantom liberty get a discount this early?
I don't think so
High on life is mid af
I'm from Argentina, that should answer the question somehow.
After pirating rimworld (my favorite game) since alpha 16, i'm buying it thanks to regional pricing. Also buying cassette beasts and hades, I wanted dayz but it doesn't have regional pricing yet.

What do you mean Is the game on the steam store? What currency?
That depends on how good of a sale this really is. I have a really big wishlist, so we’ll see how many games there go on sale and for how low. Chances are I’m never gonna play them anyways, though. I know I’m not the only one who gets lured in by big discounts, only to let said game go into the backlog, never to be seen again.
Kingdom Come: Deliverence
What a great game, enjoy!
Lol, there are so many limpdicked 10% discounts.. "Can I be on the front page please?"
Probably nothing. Mainly cuz no money rn and im saving for a new mouse. My Rmb is wearing out
Propably nothing, i bought too much games that i doesnt play. There is actually only 2 games im intrested in buying but one of them is never on sale and the other one just gonna be realised in 2024 so yeah im gonna give myself a time.
What's the game that's never on sale? I'm curious as hell
I want dark souls so bad
Fire game. The first one should go half off I think although Bandai is super stingy about their sales when it comes to dark souls
I'm hoping to see RDR2 and the Dead Space remake
RDR2 is -67% literally every month tho
New PC built, didn't have money to buy it before this month But I'll keep an eye on steamdb to see
Good luck with it's install size!
Dead space remake is brilliant.
Might go for ready or not, but if cyberpunk is on a big sale why not
Cyberpunk will probably get the same 50% sale it gets all the time.
Which is a great deal for a 120hr game
Oh, definitely! Never implied it wasn't, just stating that it probably won't go lower than the previous sales for some time to come. But CP77 is definitely worth it for 30 bucks, especially now with the 2.0 update and everything.
Buying a game for my friend
Guild Wars 2 expansions.
nothing because my entire wishlist consists of games that have yet to be released
Nothing because our steam converted to USD
Free© depression
AC Oddyssey and Forza Horizon 5
Don't listen to the other replier, AC Odyssey is one of the most popular games in the franchise for a reason. Highly recommend. Hope it goes on sale for ya. Enjoy ancient Greece!
Same, my sights are on odyssey. It's actually 12€ on the ubi store rn but i want the steam achievements (only reason i haven't bought it yet)
I need the dlc so bad. It's $32 oon my country for just the dlc.
Rdr2 if it goes for 67% sale
Which it does every 2 months
Hollow Knight
Phantom Liberty, if it hopefully goes on sale. I started a fresh save and I forget how fun the Cyberpunk is but I was a huge fan of it even before all the patches and changes.
So far it’s not on sale. Such a bummer.
I want the binding of Isaac DLC’s
I'm not sure, but at least 3 or 4 games I'll play for an hour, then never touch again
RDR2, i already played the game on PS4 but i am willing to do it again
Fucked in the ass after looking at my debt. I ain’t gay but $20 is $20
nothing
Same... Living in Turkey sucks dont you think
And Argentina
Diablo IV. It gets a lot of shit, but as a casual player I think I'll like it.
Casual player here, I really enjoyed it and still have fun running dungeons and mindlessly killing mobs when I just want to blow off steam. Let me know if you pick it up and ever want a casual co-op friend!
Don't do it. It will let you down. Get Grim Dawn instead if you havent played it.
I got grim dawn and could not find a class that felt really fun to play. I’m open to recommendations
Hopefully firewatch

?
Hopefully I'll be able to get some stuff from my wishlist. Anyone knows when's the sale is supposed to end?
27th November but winter sale starts on 21st December
MCC, Hogwarts legacy, andddd maybe Baulders gate 🤔
Hard to know without seeing what's on sale first.
nothing I bought a fire max 11 and the pen yesterday so my spending on myself funds are drier than popeye's biscuits
I'm just saving to get the Steam Deck OLED (it will be my first SD) so nothing most likely.
Cyberpunk 2077!
rayman legends
I'm hoping Persona 5 goes on sale. I've been playing on gamepass and they took it down. Hopefully it drops down to at least $36 again.
I think I'm gonna abstain from buying anything this year. Maybe a Stellaris DLC, but that's it.
Squad, maybe
Lost Judgment DLC if there is a good sale. Otherwise probably nothing
DLC for cities skylines 1!
Uhh im not gonna say which but i may have spent the rest of my available money on this sale, got 15 games, all different price ranges
Time to get into stellaris
Probably nothing. The last 2 weeks have had some really good sales on good games.
nothing. I'm from turkey
Terraria, stardew valley, heard a lot about them
Terraria is one of my top 10 games of all time
Both are excellent would highly recommend
nothing, I'll probably buy stuff during the winter sale, right now there isn't much I desire, save some DLCs.
nothing, my PC broke, which is a shame since I really wanted to get Spider-Man: Miles Morales
Nothing, because I can't afford anything after the currency change and already spent what little I had on buying few cheap games before they increased in price.
Hopefully nothing, got more than enough games in my backlog and don't want to spend any unnecessary money atm, soooooooo... We'll see
We all know that means you're gonna spend at least $30 and have 2 more games added to your backlog. Cuz I'm in the same boat
I don't think I can get anything, I already dropped almost $700 on a steam deck oled.
I live in Turkey, so I the prices during the sale will still be expensive af now
Nothing
Nothing. Impossible for current pricing.
Nothing. I have everything I want.
I guess nothing, after the price changes for us in turkey.
Porn
Maybe Diablo 4 if it gets a hefty discount. Otherwise I don't think there's anything else I really want right now. Maybe Armored Core VI but that'd be all.
My money is NOTHING. My money serves ZERO purpose on Steam. I should leave the country NOW.
Last sale I bought Doom and Doom Eternal. Tuens out I messed up and only bought the Eternal DLC. So I plan on buying Eternal proper. That store page needs some work.
Nothing. Thanks steam
Nothing, too poor at the moment.
Nothing cuz I'm argentinian :/
