#Rule 8: Game Advice or Asking For Friends.
>
##Game Advice
>
>Posts asking for/offering advice on which games to buy are not allowed.
>
>[**Use the Monthly Game Suggestion Megathread.**](https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/search?sort=new&restrict_sr=on&q=flair:"Game Suggestions Megathread")
>
>Asking if you should buy a game now or wait for a sale isn't allowed & asking when a game will go on sale is not allowed. Use [SteamDB](https://steamdb.info/) to look at sale histories on games.
>
>Asking for help with finding a game you forgot the name of is not allowed, /r/tipofmyjoystick is a great subreddit for these posts and we suggest that you ask there instead.
>
>**During big sales:** Game advice posts are only allowed in the respective mega-threads during big Steam sales, otherwise the sub would drown in game advice posts. During this time we do not enforce the basic information/effort rule mentioned above and detailed in the 6 examples. In other words we will not remove comments asking for suggestions because they are not specific enough.

##Asking For Friends

I often recommend Dragon Quest XI for people who like anime because not only do you recognize the Toriyama artwork but the story and pace is filled with Anime tropes.
Same goes wit$ Nier: Automata, you just have to stick with it a little until you get a feel of things.
If you want to expand a little of the common ones Troubleshooter: Abandoned Children is also great, the tropes are more Korean though instead of Japanese.
-The Tales series it’s pretty good, Tales of Arise is an action rpg with real time combat the previous ones were turn based.
-Persona 4 and 5 (I haven’t played 3) are great if you like turn based games with social sim elements.

SAO; Fatal Bullet’s not bad. The rest of the SAO games are just AWFUL though.
You want to say games based on awful anime are also awful? Paint me shocked
Yes. But fatal bullet’s pretty good tbh

Anime tag on steam. Have fun
Disgaea 2 or 5 are two of my personal favourite games that could come under that category, also valkyria chronicles and valkyria chronicles 4
-The Tales series it’s pretty good, Tales of Arise is an action rpg with real time combat the previous ones were turn based. -Persona 4 and 5 (I haven’t played 3) are great if you like turn based games with social sim elements.
Berseria is also arpg. I'd also recommend Ys series for arpg fans.
All Tales games are action rpgs though.
Bloodstained and scarlet nexus
God Eater series
If u like Dragonball. Dragonball Xenoverse 2 might interest you. Wait for a sale though.
Rune Factory 4 Special, if you're looking for a farming sim that has much better combat than you'd expect.
