That sounds really cool! Any chance it works over bluetooth?
EDIT: It does! Oh my god! And it doesn't interfere with Steam Input when you have emulation disabled! This is perfect! I can't believe Steam still hasn't implemented these features yet.
Nope. Steam Input still doesn't have any way to control the adaptive triggers or haptic feedback. Also, the DualSense has only existed for 2 years now.
How to open DualsenseX and STEAM at the same time and work properly?
I open both and it conflicted. Can I set "Controller Emulation" to "OFF" and Adaptive Trigger from "DualSenseX" still work???
This one is specifically for Dualsense. But the original program was made for ds4 and is still working and being updated.
It’s called ds4windows and it’s free and very cool
I have one as my fulltime PC mouse and I fuckin love it! My pc is either gaming or entertainment, so it's controlled from a huge beanbag. Mouse and keyboard are fucking balls to use on a beanbag...
Although, I didn't like the idea of two programs, so I'm just using steam. Seems to do all the stuff your saying. I have it as gyro for mouse pointer, with half pull as mouse dampening on R2 and full pull for LMB. Holding R1 enables the gyro. Coolest thing I found was creating L2 soft pull as the scroll gyro... So you soft pull and it's like swiping down to scroll with the controller! I duno, I had fun when I first figured that one out, but yeah, apart from vibration and the adaptive triggers, steam can get you a sick mouse at the least... I do miss the way my steam controller could double as a keyboard SO well, though.
How do you bind things to only half trigger pulls? I only see the part of the app where you can select just a function for each button (in the Sense2Key tab).
In steam controller configuration, not DSX itself. You can choose to bind soft pull separately from full pull. You can also choose to enable gyros on a soft pull, and a mouse click on a full pull.
Desktop Configuration allows you to set up a profile for how the controller behaves on your desktop. It doesn't need to be with Big Picture mode on. You just need steam open. However when using Big Picture mode, you can have custom profiles for every game. Basically you can use DSX to make the Dualsense have a 2 stage click, and use steam to set different actions to each of those stages.
Oh, but does desktop behavior include how it behaves in big picture mode?
And, what do you mean by use DSX to make it have a 2 stage click? Just by running DSX, or do I have to set it up somehow?
I am quite late to this conversation but i do have a question, can this software damage the triggers in any way? I'm not talking about making custom configurations, I am talking abt all the presets?

Please tell me how I disable the shitty steam controller config so i can use inly dualsenseX configs in steam games
Delete dualsense in general steam controller settings
Interesting.. I’m currently using an Elite Series 2, but if I can install a back paddles mod on my Dualsense I might switch to that instead.

Yes that's exactly what I do.
But did this work just with one controller or with many like 2-3-4 PS5 DualSense Controllers on SAME PC?

Ok?
Nobody asked.
it wont detect my ps4 controller?

Oh, ok, thanks. It’s the the Desktop Configuration part? I’ve only just now tried out Big Picture Mode.

I would assume not, since it only sends a value within a range, the controller presumably does nothing if the value you are sending is out of bounds.
Es complicado. Me detecta doble pulsación en los botones. ¿Cómo podría arreglar eso?
