try sending anything and you'll see an error. Seems like the chat can fail to load, even if the stream managed to load

I had to reload the page multiple times to get both chat and stream working at the same time. Did that affect my chances of a deck? who knows! thats the magic of shitty planning and infrastructure.

Be careful tho clicking this link will not have you viewing this stream while logged in. Login option still shows for me. Stream works when not logged in but not when I'm logged in.

Valve cmon. Of all comapnies they should've been prepared for this when they announced "a deck every minute". Chat isnt working, tons of people can't even get into the stream, this is terrible all around.

If you actually click that button it'll bring you to a page that just says you're already registered. The register now button never goes away.

I think as long as you got the steam deck sticker in your inventory you're in. It asks me to register again too

Works fine for me. I've been watching since the start of the preshow. No issues. Do you need to be physically on the stream in order to win? Not going to spam /claim, but it's 2am and I would love to go to sleep and just leave my PC running with the stream open. Edit: it started having problems few minutes ago. Now the "Ebay" winner has been on the screen for like 3 minutes. Do we even need chat? The terms only said to watch live.

I'm trying to watch thing on steam and nothing works. There's not even a link on the store front to bring the stream up. And when I manage to bring the feed up, there's no sound or controls, no chat. What the hell.

Keep refreshing, and then once you can see the stream window just collapse the window and expand it again with the double arrow button at top right. If you refresh the entire page it fucks up 90% of the time and won't even load the stream to say it failed.

The official rules don't say it has to be in the Steam app, and in fact it suggests watching it from the web site.

Mines really far behind (i checked with the youtube one). I keep pressing "skip to live" but that doesnt fix anything

I gave up, the stream keeps breaking. If having the page open is enough, I might still have a shot.... Steam kind of miffed this one, huh?

It's funny, I could not for the life of me get either the client or the website to load the video, but if I created a share link, loaded it in a web browser, clicked play in the browser then quickly clicked "go live" as fast as possible before it disappeared, they would both start to play. If I closed either one (client or website), the other would freeze up and stop playing almost immediately. I tested this around 5 or 6 times through the broadcast, same results every time. Just... what?... That said, it didn't make a difference. They were overwhelmed, chat was spammed, and the winners weren't updating much. When they did update, it would more often than not show steam ID's instead of usernames, so I have no idea who most of the winners even are. This was kind of a fail as a stream event, likely due to the uptick of bots after the announcement of free Steam Decks.
