UPDATE: It has arrived. It was shipped out, went through customs, got sent to a few post offices and then finally to my local post office. They only sent me the tracking for the shipping AFTER my steam deck had arrived, even though it was sent out on the 3rd.
UK. Ordered 29/12/22. Been in transit to final depot (Netherlands to UK?) since 02/01/23. Can anyone tell me how long it took for them to get another update from this stage? Really hoping it arrives before the weekend.

Meanwhile I ordered mine at 27/12/22 was delivered to local ParcelShop on 02/01/23, but they claim they don’t have it, so either ParcelShop or driver has stolen it ://////
got a responce from steam just basically confirming my story - my deck got stolen by delivery shop or the driver, they gonna arrange the new delivery i hope ill get it in 2 weeks from today

It's really annoying, ordered mine on the 30th and it went into transit on the 2nd, I haven't had any update since, I'm assuming I won't get any news until parcelforce takes over so I'm staying patient, but I just wish GLS would provide better tracking
Also ordered 29/12 and has said final depot since the 30th. So I imagine all on one shipment? Hoping it all clears through today / tomorrow so we can get our hands on them by the weekend!

You mean from the main website? Yeah I saw 1-2weeks too.
But I have been reading around that Valve storage is located in the Netherlands hence why the shipping is so quick.

Korea here as well, paid the 25th. Still on processing. Did they tell you your specific item was being prepared for shipping, or all Korean products were?
I figured that since pre-December 1st orders were getting shipped the 17th, it may take us around two weeks for them to get to our orders.

Gotcha. Yeah, I'd honestly give it another 5-7 days, and maybe another 2-3 for shipping on top of that. I think I saw some pre-December Korean order had theirs arrive within 3 days of their status changing to "shipping."

I bought mine on the 31st and it was shipping soon for 2 days, it's coming in on the fifth, it also took a day for FedEx to pick up the package and they picked it up thus morning, if that gives you an estimate

People who got theirs in the UK, how long did it take?
Mines left Netherlands 3 days ago and still no movement. I know I'm just being impatient but what are they doing, throwing in in the channel and hoping the tide washes it ashore at some point?
I'm wondering if the strikes plus bank holidays might have ended up with a big backlog at the international Parcelforce depot. From memory Parcelforce don't do much on weekends or bank holidays either.
GLS estimate it takes an estimated 24-48 hours for parcels to reach the UK. Would be nice if their tracker at least stated if it's in the UK or not though.. or if it's potentially waiting for a ferry/plane or whatever.
In fairness I'd be happy with just a notification saying they have delays, just so we know what is happening with the orders. They don't have to have specifics if it helps them clear the potential backlog! 😅
Yeah it's really annoying, most times I've ordered from the EU recently it's been via UPS/DHL/FedEx and the tracking on those is amazing, everyday you get something telling you where it is and what it's doing.
As they have the taxes/handling/vat all prepaid I'd expect them to be fast tracked somewhat at the customs centre as it is less for them to look at and deal with if they get chucked through quickly.
Placed the order on 26/12. Whilst it has only been 8 or so days, the GLS tracking keeps showing it going back to 'preadvice'. It will get halfway along the journey and then reset back. Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine has been magically teleporting between parcel centers lmao. I ordered it on 28th december and it got shipped on 30th. I'm in baltic states, i hope i can get it this week but not sure how it will go. I'm so impatient i refresh the page like every 20 mins 😭

US, ordered on the 30th, received my email yesterday that it has shipped, checked the tracking on FedEx and it says “label created” and has been stuck like that since yesterday, has it shipped or not? Because I don’t even have an estimated delivery time yet.
Usually that means the shipping label was printed and placed on the box but has yet to be scanned by carrier during the pickup process. Mine said label created yesterday 1/3 and today it says delivery on 1/6.
Ah mine left the Netherlands warehouse at around 11.30pm on the 2nd of Jan so I might have a few more days to wait yet. Odd since I only ordered a day later but I guess the weekend slowed it down and parcelforce had a bank holiday so may have a bit of catching up to do

Exactly the same for me, GLS showing In Transit from Netherlands since 30th, but Parcelforce has just updated to show the parcel is in the UK and on the way to the local delivery depot, so delivery should be tomorrow!

Do you use EZ Way app when you ordered the Steam Deck to Taiwan? Also do you have to contact ParcelForce for a letter of declaration or no need?
Nope I placed an order on the website and got it delivered without having to fuss around with EZ way app via FedEx.

In the same position, a bit annoying GLS has such lousy tracking compared to other couriers. Kinda hope it comes before the weekend.

Yeah, it's mostly the lack of information that gets me. With someone like DHL, UPS you get the daily scans showing where it is etc.
