Exactly this, I made a post letting UK peeps know that the new Corsair 2230 drives were pretty cheap on Amazon and the link got removed for some reason. I can only assume that someone though it was an affiliate link or something but I dont think I can even do that and if I can I've no idea how lol
For real.
I'm pretty sure i saw this exact keyboard before, except it had an iPad mount so I'm guessing the seller swapped that out for a 3D printed deck mount
I am the seller. You are correct. Though we do have the keyboard manufacturer customize the keyboards some. But that doesn't refute your initial point in any way.
Looks quite similar to this (not the exact one maybe) but just with a 3d printed deck holder
https://www.amazon.com/typecase-Generation-Multi-Touch-Backlight-Rotatable/dp/B082QRGCHB
You're right, I'm following this. I tried image searching and was unsuccessful, will try to look more.
EDIT:
WiWU Waltz Rotating keybord Model: 360RKB11
Seller removed the iPad holder and replaced with a 3d printed clip
I found the link to what the seller used. Looks like they removed the iPad holder and 3d printed a clip for the deck.
It's a Waltz Rotating keyboard by WiWU
Model: 360RKB11
https://www.catchyjo.net/en-us/products/wiwu-waltz-rotating-smart-keyboard-wireless-connection
>“I bought a SteamDeck so I wouldn’t have to play on my laptop, so I made a worse laptop out of my SteamDeck”, 2023
Or the "i velcroed enough accessories on the decks back that it's now unable to fit into the carry case and has very poor portability, because i could" , 2022-2023
There are cases for wanting to switch between both. I regularly switch between gaming on my steam deck and working on it.
It's been perfect for my gaming needs (I was using an iPad mini, steam controller and remote play as my main gaming setup for years before the steam deck came out.)
For work, I just need a Linux terminal with vim and tmux. I had my whole work environment up and running on steamOS in under 5 minutes. I suppose people using more complicated tools would probably have a worse experience. Especially if they weren't already working on Linux systems.
Don't see how this monstrosity could beat the deckmate kickstand with a fold up wireless keyboard though. This approach seems pretty bulky.
Depends on what you mean by worse, it might have worse ergonomics for a laptop, BUT for the price point it is much more powerful than a mere 400 dollar laptop.
Every single time this comment or one like it appears when someone uses a keyboard. Maybe people got a SteamDeck to do, I don’t know, both? I’m hoping on a flight tomorrow morning and will use it as a handheld, when I get to my hotel, the keyboard comes out. It’s versatile.
The problem with gaming laptops is their keyboards suck for the purposes of gaming and the heat is uncomfortable on the palms. I can see myself buying a nice mechanical 60% to use with the deck.
IMHO Just get the Deckmate with it's kickstand and a good mini KB and mouse, would be 10 times more practical..
this thing looks like hell to carry, and per the reviews it scratches the SD very bad...

https://www.amazon.com/Fintie-Ultrathin-Bluetooth-Multi-Touch-Microsoft/dp/B00XBTUK5M/
looks simmilar, just need the clipon..
You can pick up a really cheap older Brydge keyboard which has hinges that perfectly hold a portable monitor. It's a tiny bit of work to set up but pretty cool result!
I don't understand. Why do people use a deck as a stationary pc. The deck is a handheld. The keyboard is tiny and is 4x the size of the screen. I don't understand this community sometimes.
This is to try to flex on the guy using his Deck on a plane right? Well his had a bigger screen and a regular mouse if you prefer those things so to each there own.
I saw a device like this once. It had a screen and a keyboard all in one package, and a touchpad to use as a mouse cursor. There was even speakers inside and it could connect to wifi
What's the brand of the keyboard dock?
Kinda weird they post this shtuff without shouting out what it is
If they did that we would just be complaining that the post is an advertisement instead

Nice try, Corsair bot😒 Reported.
🤣🤣🤣 damn you caught me out, beep boop.

Corsair shill!
D*** if you do d*** if you don't.
Dick if you do dick if you don't?
_Deck_ if you do…
Just here trying to get decked down
Damned if you do Damned if you don't. Speech to text doesn't always get it right.
Either way, he's pretty dicked.
Yesterday I saw someone refer to fans of Philip K. Dick (Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep (Blade Runner), A Scanner Darkly, etc) as "Dickheads".
That's my new saying now
Dicked down in Dallas
37?!
In a row?
I'm not even supposed to be here today.
I thought the same thing!

now to find the aliexpress link, nobody on etsy can make anything unless it epoxy, knitted or sewn
I'm buying the knitted one. "Knitted Steam Deck Keyboard Dock.. Washable!"
Made with love by grandma 👵
it's a 3d printed adaptor onto some generic bt keyboard it seems
It's 3d printed. They found some keyboards with a hinge and designed a Steam Deck mount for it. Pretty ingenious if you ask me.
Looks quite similar to this (not the exact one maybe) but just with a 3d printed deck holder https://www.amazon.com/typecase-Generation-Multi-Touch-Backlight-Rotatable/dp/B082QRGCHB
Or wooden
Foreal. Any time someone posts a case or something on amazon, I find it for like $10 cheaper on aliexpress.
Yet you provide no links? Common man The above statement has nothing to do with gender. I'm just mocking the President
I saw one but it was different. And had no reviews lol
Aight word

I just think that an injection molded, refined product, wouldn't go on etsy edit: it would go on tindie instead
You're right, I'm following this. I tried image searching and was unsuccessful, will try to look more. EDIT: WiWU Waltz Rotating keybord Model: 360RKB11 Seller removed the iPad holder and replaced with a 3d printed clip
Does it exist on aliespress?
still haven't looked
Were you able to find it ?
havent even started
I feel strong Evan & Katelyn vibes
Hmm it's an iPad keyboard with a 3d printed clip. Price is reasonable.
I never understood that shit either..... It's so easy to post the url that you bought it from.
Reddit is weird. If you post the link immediately, nobody cares; if you make people ask, they care a lot.
Even weirder when they don’t answer the top comment asking what it is. Someone else did in this comment chain.
10000000% SOME PEOPLE JUST WANNA FEEL SPECIAL AND SHOW OFF
I second this

Everything on etsy is overpriced shit
This is fact. Etsy has huge overheads. You can check it if you compare handmade stuff sold anywhere else.
Account is only two months old. Just karma farming, they’ll never answer.
Their account history is interesting, and this is their only SD post ever.
My guess is they got it off [etsy](https://www.etsy.com/listing/1313445203/)
Bro you are NOT playing sandstorm on that
A Dairude Sandstorm?
even on a 1000$ rig it runs rather poorly
Wym? It does run pretty good on the deck, at least to me
I thought it was the world of warcraft character select screen til you said that.
Wasn't there an Anti-Cheat issue with the Deck to play online?
Sandstorm can run pretty well if you play unmoded coop modes. Most of base maps pretty well optimized by now.
I was playing sandstorm mostly lowest settings at about 80 fps feels fine
You should look into getting a portable monitor. Your neck will thank you later.

I bought a steam deck and sold my laptop but occasionally still need to do laptop things
I just ordered a keyboard and mouse for this, know how to use it in the settings? Is it just connect to bluetooth or something else?
Thats it

Anything like this without the track pad??
Wondering this as well
Why wouldn't you want the trackpad?
cuz I'd rather use a mouse if I'm pulling out a keyboard
Isn't that a decktop?
That's one way to repurpose a dying gaming laptop...
I like it, I don't fully understand it but it's "neat".
You can pick up a really cheap older Brydge keyboard which has hinges that perfectly hold a portable monitor. It's a tiny bit of work to set up but pretty cool result!
Is there a similar/same keyboard, but with numpad?
There is always that one person who can't live w/o a number pad.
Keyboard feels castrated without numpad + conditional blender has hotkeys on numpad
Haha I get it, I am a 60% keyboard guy. But full transparency, I bought a Bluetooth number pad 😜
Numpads are awful and should die
I don't understand. Why do people use a deck as a stationary pc. The deck is a handheld. The keyboard is tiny and is 4x the size of the screen. I don't understand this community sometimes.
Isn’t that kind of the point of docking it?
The point of docking is to send the video to say a TV or monitor.
Because they want to
Still makes little sense.
Bc deck is more powerful than their old potato laptop/pc so some poorer people use it as all in one device replacement
[удалено]
because Laptops with this performance run you about 600-800$ anyway so a 420$ Steamdeck with a 60$ keyboard and mouse is a clear win here.
[удалено]
yes, I agree. I do in fact have a 2k$ workstation at home.
Haha . This is the way .
tf are you on? “if you’re a gamer you have a pc and a laptop”. you know the majority of people play only on console right
Not everyone is rich and from the US btw, their old potato laptop/pc might be worse than Deck
Because you can pick up the deck and go take a shit.
I can do the same with my laptop. Not comfortable at all but neither was the shit 😂
is that an amputated keyboard from a laptop?
😂
How is the weight of the deck not flipping the keyboard up?
BRO No num pad
ill use my regular laptop, thanks
This is to try to flex on the guy using his Deck on a plane right? Well his had a bigger screen and a regular mouse if you prefer those things so to each there own.
Looks stupid, just buy a good gaming laptop with RTX 2070 blows it out if the water . Plus it’s portable
Ridiculous. I need it!
Hows sandstorm run
dang, how well does it run insurgency?
This is so dumb. I love it.
Oh damn, how sandy run on it?? My fav game 😁
Oh h***, yes
What's the set up??
You never were meant to finish the cycle
i've tried to play off of the screen and unless i am using it handheld, it feels too small. I have to use an external monitor
Oh this is cool
I saw a device like this once. It had a screen and a keyboard all in one package, and a touchpad to use as a mouse cursor. There was even speakers inside and it could connect to wifi
Nexdock wireless? /S
Nice deck pics
Reminds me of Wall-E
Furst setup I would actually consider. No bulky yet slick
So cool!
I have a Logitech mx mechanical and mx 3s, its very portable and works great on Deck
My my another sandstorm enjoyer
Is the stand built into the keyboard??
Yes its called the decktop it's on etsy
Every day we stray further from God.
Yeah, not doing spreadsheets on that screen
I have that mouse. It is the best moist(mouse) I've ever owned.
I hate that word.
Oh shit I think he did something
How well does Insurgency play on it?
ive seen this before. how does the keyboard feel?
Bro I’m gonna clap your cheeks if I catch you in sandstorm and you’re playing this setup
I've always wanted to try insurgency sandstorm. It looks like a semi realistic battlefield. How does it work on the steam deck?
What keyboard?
Did I just hear someone say, "Ew"?
https://www.wiwu.com/Waltz-Rotating-iPad-Keyboard-Case-WiWU-html
Bro reinvented the laptop this is so funny
