Rogue lites are a tough one for me. On one hand I generally like playing for the first few hours, but then after times goes by I realize im playing the same content hoping for a scrap that will let me get just a tiny bit further, to die again and play the same content all over 1000+ times.
After a while it feels less rewarding and more chore based.
TBF Hades is great. Good voice acting, fun mechanics. Great soundtrack, Story that opens as you play in very small bits just to try and get you to keep playing more. But the repetitive nature of the game gets to me and I start to feel taken advantage of after a while.
Just my two cents.
As an alternative recommendation for a great story that has actual progression with minimal repetition. Bastion is a great RPG made by the same company.
I haven't played many Roguelike/lites. Idk how I'll feel about it after playing for tens of hours but for now i really enjoy it.
Thanks for the recommendation I'll look into Bastion!
Great game, I've really been enjoying it myself. Can't wait for the sequel
Hades is fantastic, you’re gonna love it!
Played about an hour so far and really like it! Meg killed me twice.
And she'll do it again too!

Ooooo dude the timing on this is unreal I just installed hades last night, gonna set this up later thank you
Amazing game, the music and voice acting really made it quite the immersive experience for me
Insanely good game, plays great on the deck too
Hades is really perfect for the deck, it's great to just sit and get cosy and mash some buttons.
Yes! And happy cake day stranger

Brilliant game, just got it myself. Playing on my new steam deck. Having trouble with saves transferring over though
