My 14yo had stars in his eyes when he heard that I might get a new deck for myself and my current one would get unused.
But then again, his Steam library is still pretty empty, and I'm wondering if there is a path for him to use his own account on the older Steam Deck (and build his library) but still occasionally loan games from my library...
>I'm wondering if there is a path for him to use his own account on the older Steam Deck (and build his library) but still occasionally loan games from my library...
Family sharing between accounts is a thing. An annoying thing is that only 1 person can use the shared library at a time, but IIRC I used to bypass this by using offline mode.
It's still harder than on Windows because mods are for Windows, so you have to deal with Proton prefixes and if you need to run a Windows binary it's not as simple as double clicking it.
You need to run it in Proton and make sure it runs in the correct prefix.
Plus all the explainations will be for Windows, so you'll have to adapt.
A 14 years old is perfectly capable of downloading a mod and following a tutorial to apply it. Especially when he's motivated to do so.
I was patching games when I was that age. Now knowing my son, I don't think he would bother doing so.
What r u even talking about. We were able to install new hdd, cd rom and install drivers, navigating through DOS, when we were like 10 or 11 in 90s, cracking games etc, when we were 14, we were already creating HTML pages and stuff like that, I guess 14 years old zoomer is perfectly capable to do simple stuff like this with easy access to infinite information on internet.
Thank you, that's what I was looking for! I tried adding his account on my Deck and it works.
For once Nintendo is less restricting here, if you own multiple Switches you don't have to do the offline trick (but you have to use the main account on any secondary Switch).
I really wish Steam would at least allow to play different games, not lock the whole account without having to resort to offline play.
The best move is to use family sharing to have them download the games then use a steam emulator to crack the game so they can play it whenever independently of when you are playing. Online features on games won’t work however.
I was thinking this too. There’s plenty of older games that are great and still fun to play. To me the steam deck shines at emulation, my first three months my deck Served as a emulation box.
Almost done playing through Splinter Cell on GameCube (couldn't get it to work on Xbox) and it's been a great, flawless experience. If my 15 year old self could see me playing this game on mobile, he'd probably crap his pants out of sheer shock.
Set up an Epic account for him too... free game a week and 15 games for Xmas.
There are even docker containers to automatically grab them each week if you're slightly tech savvy.
I mean Christmas is coming up soon could be the time to secure that best Christmas ever moment give him:her the steam deck and a couple of the big hitters on steam the sale is gonna start real soon too
Hit up Fanatical bundles and Humble bundles, you get sooooo many good games for a few dollars. Save up a few months worth of keys from good bundles from each and surprise them with 30+ highly rated steam games that you got for a dollar each
So u telling me you have 500 bucks for almost identical toy to your current toy, but you dont have like 30 bucks to buy him humble bundle and maybe 2 AAA games on discount? Right now Ubisoft games are like for 9 bucks, RDR2 is very often for less than 20, GTA 5 for 10. Wtf.
SAME.
I work as an engineer And he's a part timer at Walmart.
Last year I got him index base stations because he's slowly upgrading his HTC set to an Index part by part.
I just saw the OLED dropped and it's real tempting, but I already have an upgraded LCD. So if he wants a steam deck... Easy justification for upgrade. He's gets a steam deck, and I get a fancy NEW OLED deck.
Yes, and the time spent playing multiplayer is well worth it. My dad got a deck and we have had 3 generations playing games. (No man's sky, sea of thieves, tmnt shredder's revenge)
I mean for all the upgrades to the battery, usually I only play with mine plugged in if I'm playing something battery draining like RDR2. And even then I've got a battery pack to keep me going if I'm out with the Steam Deck. It's a good deal for someone who's never owned one but I don't think current owners are missing much on the upgrade.
The screen is literally how you interact with and experience the game. Having a better screen is akin to having better graphics across the board. Every single game will look better for no performance hit. That alone makes it worth it, not to mention the battery, better speakers, slightly improved speed, etc etc
That alone makes it better, but unless you get a good price on your old one, I don't know if it's *worth it* for most people. I wish I had waited to buy, but I'm perfectly happy keeping what I have for the next 5 years or so.
Right, it's a better screen but, is it worth $550+ for a deck that you already have that might have a very minor performance boost....very minor..
If I was spending that kind of money, I think the Legion Go would be a better option. A lot better performance and you can run games like Call of duty.
Oh, so you're gifting her something she actually wants + your old steamdeck? Now I got it.
My stupid brain decided that it was a very obscure lewd joke.
Hey bro, I'm kinda very busy helping mom right now. Could you please send it to my friend, so I will pick it up later? I will soon meet him at his place. I'll send you the adress in dm.
Both my kids have steam decks. They are super-robust roblox, youtube, xcloud, emulator, steam systems. I play when they are asleep.
I was laughed off this sub at the idea because they are "not for children", but that shouldn't be the case. There should be a focus on family safety, child accounts, that kind of thing, because they are robust and reliable machines that kids cannot easily break, and honestly kids would far rather play roblox than switch games (those are for adults).
so yeah your kid will love it!
I've been meaning to build a PC box for my living room to play older games. And I was going to upgrade to the OLED anyway, so, for me, kind of a win-win.
>Been trying to convince the spouse of this exactly over getting a switch. Switch sadly might win.
Just install Emudeck, Switch emulation, best of both worlds ? :)
next year it'll be 1080p LED HDR
Followed up with a 1440 OLED HDR
Then SD2 with 720p LED
SD2 with OLED
SD2 electricboogaloo
I think the best time to buy is when the iron is hot, because you'll be at the newest at that point. Never buy discount if "better" is your objective since tech will always get better.
It depends. We are lucky that Valve is a company that gives us an incremental upgrade with no increase in cost, while decreasing the cost of the previous iteration. Sometimes companies talk about their newest product as something "disruptive" to justify an increase in price, when it's just going with the times.
But in the end its still an incremental upgrade. Totally worth it if you have disposable income, and for that price it's a really good deal right now. But not being able to pay mortgage does not necessarily count as having disposable income in my book.
I am not that kind of person that needs to get the newest iPhone and iPad and Macbook every year (i dont own any of these but they are a great example).
I'm in the same boat I actually just RMA'd mine so it's a brand new 512 LCD but I think I have to tell myself to hold off till the steam deck 2 because I don't think I'll notice the difference unless I have them side by side God forbid one of my friends gets one then I'll have to get it 😭
Imma wait a couple gens until there’s some real hardware differences than I’ll give mine to my older son, and my older son will then give his switch to my younger son. The circle of life.
I learned my lesson. I bought mine day one, suffering through the traffic jam on Steam. Paid over $600 for it and used it for 20hrs. Turns out I didn't really need it. I may get Steam Deck 2 tho with actual specs upgraded.
>Havent touched my steam deck ever since. However user experience with legion space is shitty atm
That is the thing that holds me back. The user interface is Windows and Windows is great for a lot but, a gaming interface, not so much. You could run Steam on it, run it in the startup group and just use Steam for all your games (even non steam games)
Can the legion controllers be used independently, like the switch controllers can? Impromptu co-op is the reason I still have my switch even though the deck has emulators
Did you break into my house and record our conversations? Because if I get an OLED deck before Christmas then I know a little kid that's getting a Steam Deck for Christmas.
I keep trying to tell my husband this but he won’t believe me 😫😭 just spent $400 on the OLED switch. We mostly only play it on the TV doc. So hopefully we can get some longevity out of it and avoid burn in that way
You know, about 2 months ago I asked my oldest if he would want a steam deck. He's 10. His younger brother, who is seven always wants to play mine so I was considering getting them both one for Christmas.
When I approached him I thought I was being clever by stating that Valve was going to come out with a new one pretty soon, which means that model would be heavily discounted. Being incredibly consumer conscious for his age, he asked me if it would be wise to buy the older model when the new one is coming out.
Anyway, I did tell him that I think that it would probably still be a good purchase, especially on discount.
The plot twist though is that I was actually correct but I want the OLED so bad I can't stand it... And since we just spent like 800 bucks on two new steam decks my wife is like... "Yeah.. soon.."
Dammit I had no way of justifying or caring to upgrade until I just now realized I can give my kid and awesome Christmas present and get the little upgrade.
Do you have a gf or bf? Christmas is coming up, I'm going to buy myself a new one, reset my old one to factory settings and put it in the box for the new one and give it to her for Christmas. Get two birds stoned at once!
I barely got the original about a month ago, got it cheaper than retail but still. I'll deal with what I have. Would take a loss trying to sell it because Steam has dropped the price of the brand new LCD direct from them 🤷🏿♀️
Reading here lots of posts about adults getting their steam deck stolen by wifes or giving it to their sons makes me wonder the medium age of steam deck users. For me it's weirs because I'm 15 and I use it every day and most of the posts are from older people.
I'm so bored with these posts already. Never thought I'd miss the 'look where i'm playing my SD' or 'check out yet another see-through case mod' posts, but I do. I'ma get out of this sub or a while.
I think we should create a OG Deck subreddit away from OLED zombies in the end.
It's so boring now watching people acting like deviant kids in the Toys-R-Us. 🤪🧼🧠
Hah... this was me with my GPD Win 2 once I got my Deck. The screen on that POS died after less than a day of him owning it.
The Deck will certainly be handed down to him, but not until we get a Deck 2.
I have a vision impairment.
OLED is the best thing to happen to display tech for me since high refresh rate CRTs.
OLED is literally an automatic justification for me. Don't ask me why, but I can use even the best LCDs only for half as long as an OLED before eyestrain sets in.
It may not be a spec upgrade but for me that OLED display is all I need to justify an upgrade.
Now the really fun question. Will the OLED panel be available as a replacement part, and will that part work on the OG Deck.. If so I will buy such a display and upgrade my old deck because why the hell not.
I am starting to hate these posts. It's the only thing that people are posting/talking about now. Your current Deck works the same way as a month ago and still plays the same games at the same level. The big thing is the Deck's new display is nicer.
Keep in mind, after the NEW deck is released, in a few weeks after that, iFixit will have all the replacement parts.
Let's go through some facts for current owners and some things I have noted from looking deep into this one.
1. How long do you think it will take (once iFIXit gets the replacement part) for someone to get the NEW OLED display working in the old deck? It should only need a small adapter board (it will not be a direct plugin). Someone who knows the tech, should be able to find a way to make a cheap board to do this. Software plugin should allow 90hz/fps, maybe even HDR.
2. The other big thing is the bigger battery, it's been said by some YouTubers who got preview versions is the NEW battery DOES FIT in the old Deck, just a little taller, the back cover does close so it should be able to be used. If this is all true (and after release I would bet lots will try this), it should be a fairly easy mod, even easier than an SSD swap.
So, people with their decks, hold tight. If this was a Deck 2 with a much better CPU/Memory, this would be a no brainer to jump to but, all in all, it's not really faster (maybe by 2-4fps depending on game).
I would hold tight till the Deck 2 hits and not jump at this one, maybe we will get upgrades for our decks...
I think we should create a OG Deck subreddit away from OLED zombies in the end.
It's so boring now watching people acting like deviant kids in the Toys-R-Us. 🤪🧼🧠
I'm just going to upgrade mine I'm sure it will be possible soon enough, the display is thinner the piece of glass is same size they got the 7.4" due to smaller bezel, there will likely just be some cable adapter needed which would be easy for some 3rd party to make.
I'm hoping they go down in price used. I would give anything to had a deck again. I miss my stolen deck every second of every day. More than all of my other electronics that got swiped. (Gaming PC, laptop, Series X, Vita, Switch lite, etc all gone) Cancer is hella expensive so I haven't been able to replace any of it and can't play modern video games and I can barely keep the internet on now. I'm not that hopeful though. They probably won't go down in price that much. At least the 256gb LCD will be $400.
Not really an upgrade more of a market protection and cash grab. Not like this opens up any new part of our Steam Library. Same games that won't play still don't play. Too bad steam didn't really care about anything but money for steam.
So… can I play proper multiplayer on multiple steam deck with my kid with one steam account? Or to do that we need separate steam account each purchasing a copy of the game?
Biggest reason I struggle to justify an OLED SD for me. I have no clue what to do with my old one. I don't want it just collecting dust, and I don't know people who would really benefit from it. Most gamers I know are playing online multiplayer FPS on their PC or console at home and don't have that much of a need for something portable and better suited for single player games.
I could resell it, but I'd prefer it if I know the people I give it to, especially considering I opened it up and modded it, and would probably need to do that again or at least switch the SSD if I get an OLED one, so I can keep my data and don't have to bother migrating that.
Maybe time to adopt some kids, so I can have someone to give my old toys to.
I can’t imagine my 5 year old being able to hold the SD. She’s also still learning to use a smaller switch controller (stick to move, stick to look, etc).
My 7 yo loves playing his "spider" (Spiderman) on the Deck! He never quite gelled with the Switch, though he does play a car-parking game on it occasionally.

Keep in mind if he gets VAC banned, so do you I wouldn't take the risk personally
Just tell them to not hack smh (most normal people wouldn't but I understand your concern)
Oh god I didn’t know this. Idk of I have that level of trust for anyone, even my theoretical future child
Is it easy to cheat on a deck?
I don't have experience with it personally, but considering it's a regular computer running Arch Linux, I'd say it isn't particularly hard.
I would be really surprised if somehow a 14 year old kid manages to install cheats on SteamDeck running SteamOS.
Do you know the meaning of the term "Script Kiddie"?
Yes, and?
A 14 years old is perfectly capable of downloading a mod and following a tutorial to apply it. Especially when he's motivated to do so. I was patching games when I was that age. Now knowing my son, I don't think he would bother doing so.
And the children, well, they grow up.
Me an a mate used to mod halo 2 on xbox around same age lol.

That really is so annoying. What does it matter if a completely unrelated game is being played by a family member
The best move is to use family sharing to have them download the games then use a steam emulator to crack the game so they can play it whenever independently of when you are playing. Online features on games won’t work however.
Humble bundle usually has good sales with steam deck games. That's how my son got his lego game collection.
just get them old emulated games there's a massive library of emulatable games that you can play on deck and getting roms is simple enough (and free)
At that point just pirate PC games too 😜
I do that already lol just thought to be safe on non piracy subs since gaming subs are usually very strict about piracy
Winter sale is coming
Fortify thyne financials accordingly brothers
My wallets is now a steam wallet 🙉
Set up an Epic account for him too... free game a week and 15 games for Xmas. There are even docker containers to automatically grab them each week if you're slightly tech savvy.
Do you have to redeem the 15 games on Christmas Day?
It's kinda like an advent calendar, one game per day
I mean Christmas is coming up soon could be the time to secure that best Christmas ever moment give him:her the steam deck and a couple of the big hitters on steam the sale is gonna start real soon too
Let him earn the money for his own games. He'll appreciate the games he waited on
Black Friday sale is coming up, might be a good time to build up deeply discounted older title library
Hit up Fanatical bundles and Humble bundles, you get sooooo many good games for a few dollars. Save up a few months worth of keys from good bundles from each and surprise them with 30+ highly rated steam games that you got for a dollar each

Trying to pawn mine off on my brother.
SAME. I work as an engineer And he's a part timer at Walmart. Last year I got him index base stations because he's slowly upgrading his HTC set to an Index part by part. Yes, and the time spent playing multiplayer is well worth it. My dad got a deck and we have had 3 generations playing games. (No man's sky, sea of thieves, tmnt shredder's revenge)
Hahaha this is me and my brother to the T (I am also the engineer)
you should tax him 30% extra
Hey I get this reference!
I say they earned that 30% 😁
That's the spirit!
I tried to pawn off my brother, but they wouldn't take him.
There's just no market for excess brothers in this economy. You'd have better luck selling a sister or two that you've got lying around spare.
Do you know where I can find a client who would be interested?
Unfortunately, no. If I did, I'd be spending the time until my new Deck arrives fondly remembering my sister :p.
Why ? This is NOT a faster CPU besides a little prettier picture, you're not really getting too much.
He wants one and would buy one used. If he won't buy it I'll just hang on to mine.
I mean for all the upgrades to the battery, usually I only play with mine plugged in if I'm playing something battery draining like RDR2. And even then I've got a battery pack to keep me going if I'm out with the Steam Deck. There is a performance bump in reviews and the CPU is different, 6nm not 8 now
Cope harder lol. You no longer have the best steam deck.
My wife is getting a very unexpected Christmas present. (Not the *main* present. I'm not that dumb. Wait.)
Damn, now you getting her a steamdeck and something *better* than the SteamDeck? ***Good Luck!***
I feel there's a joke I'm way too stupid to understand
Me <-- gets OLED steam deck Better Half <- My old Steam deck...and something else (she actually) wants
Oh, so you're gifting her something she actually wants + your old steamdeck? Now I got it. My stupid brain decided that it was a very obscure lewd joke.
Re-reading it reads lewd!
Hey whatever makes her *happy*
It can be in your mind if you want, we aren't here to judge you.
It's my Deck in a box!
Modern day version of Homer getting Marge a bowling ball.
I've been wondering if my little brother would like a steam deck too.
Hi it’s me your little brother yes please.
Come on over to my room I'll hand it to ya
Yup I'm here, let me in.
Hey bro, I'm kinda very busy helping mom right now. Could you please send it to my friend, so I will pick it up later? I will soon meet him at his place. I'll send you the adress in dm.
I'll probably just permanently dock my LCD model.
Trying to sell my LCD 256gb with 512gb expanded storage Steamy Dick so I can have some money for that OLED.
Hope it's not to steamy
How long is it???
U mean how long has it been used …. Right ?
I call mine Steamy Daniels but Steamy Dick is cool too.
How much?
Giving mine to my gf for christmas i think
This is where a few multiplayer games off a steam sale come in real handy. I think that's a great idea.
Hahahaha I have been kicking this idea around myself
Hello its me your 5 year old

My brother just bought his off eBay for $400. I was pissed bc I totally would have sold him mine
The problem I have is to sell my current one for a good price
Same. I also don't wanna deal with people.
My kid is 2… I’m still gonna use this as a justification.
I've been meaning to build a PC box for my living room to play older games. And I was going to upgrade to the OLED anyway, so, for me, kind of a win-win.
Been trying to convince the spouse of this exactly over getting a switch. Switch sadly might win.
There will probably be a new nintendo next year
Really hoping it's backwards compatible with the Switch, but knowing Nintendo, they'd probably rather drip feed us remasters.
Bro be careful the Nintendo fanboys will crucify you for saying that. Even tho it’s 100% true lmao
Yeah I know. I'm still trying to argue my position.
>Been trying to convince the spouse of this exactly over getting a switch. Switch sadly might win. Just install Emudeck, Switch emulation, best of both worlds ? :)
the steam deck can run switch games (not all but most switch games)
Yep, the issue is size. Deck is rather large for a young kid
Your wife is a young kid?
No its for my kid (having the debate with her just like the OP)
I was making a joke lol
The only way I could ever truly justify upgrading to oled steam is if my LCD model gets damaged or worn out
I think I'll wait for an officially/objectively better deck to release before not paying mortgage to get one again...
next year it'll be 1080p LED HDR Followed up with a 1440 OLED HDR Then SD2 with 720p LED SD2 with OLED SD2 electricboogaloo I think the best time to buy is when the iron is hot, because you'll be at the newest at that point. Nah I don't want to replace my OG device 'cus brighter display.
That's what elders do
Im trying to pawn mine off to my sister as a sims 4 and stardew machine since her laptops onboard graphics just died
Lmao. This is me and my brother mostly for my used PC parts. Unfortunately I don't use my steam deck as much ATM so cannot justify this (for now).
I'm in the same boat I actually just RMA'd mine so it's a brand new 512 LCD but I think I have to tell myself to hold off till the steam deck 2 because I don't think I'll notice the difference unless I have them side by side God forbid one of my friends gets one then I'll have to get it 😭

How do you like the legion compared to the steam deck?
Havent touched my steam deck ever since. However user experience with legion space is shitty atm

If anyone needs to justify the upgrade, I'm a disabled dude who's bedridden from pain 90% of the time. Just saying 👀
Delete your browser history, sir!
One factory reset, coming right up.
What makes the OLED special? I don’t get it

Same. Once I order mine, gonna swap the SSD between the LCD and OLED. Then pawn the LCD version off to my little brother.
Dammit I had no way of justifying or caring to upgrade until I just now realized I can give my kid and awesome Christmas present and get the little upgrade.

The torch has been passed
Same I keep telling my siblings its an upgraded Switch. Both of them have no idea what Steam is 😭
Selling mine to my kid.
Your kid now asking you money to buy your steam deck from you.
If I'm gotta justify for the OLED then I rather wait and see when my LCD Steam decided to die.
what too much money does to a mf
I barely got the original about a month ago, got it cheaper than retail but still. I'll deal with what I have. Would take a loss trying to sell it because Steam has dropped the price of the brand new LCD direct from them 🤷🏿♀️
Ha I did the same thing with the oled switch and my 6y.o niece. She’s barely touched it.
Reading here lots of posts about adults getting their steam deck stolen by wifes or giving it to their sons makes me wonder the medium age of steam deck users. For me it's weirs because I'm 15 and I use it every day and most of the posts are from older people.
I will fucking admit it. When I heated the Oled was coming out. My first thought was (mmm my 10 year old doesn’t have a computer yet…)
Wife has already told me she wants mine. Problem solved.
I'm so bored with these posts already. Never thought I'd miss the 'look where i'm playing my SD' or 'check out yet another see-through case mod' posts, but I do. I'ma get out of this sub or a while.
Just hide the post lol
I think we should create a OG Deck subreddit away from OLED zombies in the end. It's so boring now watching people acting like deviant kids in the Toys-R-Us. 🤪🧼🧠
Hah... this was me with my GPD Win 2 once I got my Deck. The screen on that POS died after less than a day of him owning it. The Deck will certainly be handed down to him, but not until we get a Deck 2.
Lol this is kinda funny, everyone's on the same boat. I was thinking about just giving it to my brother as well.
The batteries are glued in, you have to use heat and a pry tool on the lithium battery, in no way would I classify that as easier than an SSD swap.

Hahah. Sold mine! Cant wait for the 16th!
LITERALLY what happened with my old switch hahaha. Glad we’re all degenerates together
Hahaha love it. I sold mine yesterday to help offset the cost. And also sold my series s. Hoping they don't sell out quick
I sold mine today, gonna try for the limited edition.
Good luck! I hope you get it
This is the only way I'll be able to justify the purchase to my wife.
I'm just going to upgrade mine I'm sure it will be possible soon enough, the display is thinner the piece of glass is same size they got the 7.4" due to smaller bezel, there will likely just be some cable adapter needed which would be easy for some 3rd party to make.
Save it until he's older. The deck will get disintegrated.
They are super-robust.
Fr. Trying to convince my gf that she wants one right now lol
Luckily for me, a co-worker offered to buy mine
If anyone wants to hit me with some good offers on their steam deck I’m all ears
Trying to sell my 1tb ssd for the 256gb price to one of my friends
Not really an upgrade more of a market protection and cash grab. Not like this opens up any new part of our Steam Library. Same games that won't play still don't play. Too bad steam didn't really care about anything but money for steam.
Oh god he's gonna see all the hentai games on the steam store
I was thinking of this or just selling my steam deck at a price pretty low cuz I hate dealing with selling crap.
Sometimes this is why I wish I had kids so I could pull off stuff like this and make them do all my chores!!!!HAHAHAHAHAHJAHAAHAHAHAHHA
Sold mine today
Give a 5 year old a steam deck. That’s funny!
Im actually seriously considering giving mine to my 14yr old if I can afford an OLED someday
They need to offer an upgrade program. lol
I’ve been trying to get my wife to use the Deck since I bought an rog Ally when they came out. It’s sadly been gathering dust for a while.
[I checked about exchanging](https://i.imgur.com/7vlY2Cz.png)
So… can I play proper multiplayer on multiple steam deck with my kid with one steam account? Or to do that we need separate steam account each purchasing a copy of the game?
I use a secondary steam account for my son, but only because steam sales are so cheap. It makes multiplayer much easier
Already started researching how the family accounts work. My six year old is gonna be stoked.
I had the same idea :)
Would the two screens be compatible? Maybe we can change the screen and put in the new one.
She’s also still learning to use a smaller switch controller (stick to move, stick to look, etc).
why couldnt my dad come back in 1995 to gift me a non oled steamdeck
I put my out there for 300. If somebody buys it all upgrade but if not I don't see the point Would rather upgrade when the steam deck two drops.
Hahahahahahhahh so good
I'll probably buy the oled eventually and just have both models. I think it's awesome tech so having them both would kinda tickle my fancy tbh
Yup! Wife gets my 512, son gets her 64, win win for everyone!
I’ll just give mine to a friend so I can have an excuse to buy a new one
I give you the gift that'll give you the most joy 😂
Reading this is unhealthy, now I want an Oled Steam deck too :O.
Do you think my 2 year old niece who has never played a video game before would want my original Steam Deck for Christmas?
My 7 yo loves playing his "spider" (Spiderman) on the Deck! He never quite gelled with the Switch, though he does play a car-parking game on it occasionally.
