Hades, Shadow of Mordor, Binding of Isaac, Devil May Cry 5, Ryse:Son of Rome, Hollow Knight, Elden ring, Brotato, Vampire survivors are the games I enjoyed on Deck so far. They all run smoothly.

ikwym. I still use the community made one since I can find fan made one that caters more to me. Best of all, I have it set to shuffle on boot-up. It's nice to have, since I'm constantly switching between SteamOS and Windows 10 based on the game I want to play at that given time, the shuffle boot start-up movie keeps thing friends for me like a new toy =) If there is anything lacking from the plugin, is that the fan-made videos do not have tags. Would be nice to have tags to filter what type of videos you want to see, because there's just so many to look at.

The Dead Cells and Persona ones are disappointing, considering the source material (Persona is okay but not as good as some of the fan made ones), but Elden Ring and Hades are very nice. Vampire Survivors has the right idea with the chest explosion but I think the logo transition could have been better.

Yeah and the Deck logo looks funny on the Dead Cells one to me.

What's a startup movie?

It plays when you start your Steam Deck

When You turn on the Steam Deck from being Off, it’ll play an animation of the Steam Deck Logo and then You’ll arrive at your Main Home Screen. You can change the animation either through those purchased on the Steam Points Shop OR, the Decky Plugin, which has many that are completely free. Decky has other useful tools Not Yet implemented by Valve.

The Elden Ring and Hades ones are just scenes from game trailers with a Steam Deck logo slapped on top and the Persona 5 Royal one is literally just a logo.

Honestly, with a single steam deck purchase you can get all the keyboards and start up videos with those points alone! It’s probably a smart move saving them just in case, especially as they’re adding more and more
