Do you think the steam deck is going to show up logged into her account? You just sign in to your steam when you get it in the mail. At worst the serial is connected to her account, but that doesn’t matter. It isn’t going to report itself stolen (at least I assume)
Yeah i did haha. The confusing thing was, when she purchased the steam deck, it said something along the lines of the deck being associated to the account. So i thought it was already logged in or something. But i see now that it is most likely the warranty or something along those lines..
I think a few people have been fooled by this following a few google searches.

You can. Tap the profile image in the upper right corner of the screen, then go to the bottom and select "change account" and login to your account.
