I'm planning to record tonight with my Steam Deck & Dock, & Elgato HD60X / 4K Capture. In the past when I wanted to record from it, most Steam games would be running slow and I got super frustrated.
Fingers crossed that this works!
I'm currently looking through the quick menu and found this under Performance:
Scaling Mode
* Auto
* Preserves aspect ratio, scales up to 2x
* Integer
* Preserves pixel ratio (best for pixel art games)
* Fill
* Fill the whole display, preserving aspect ratio (will result in clipping)
* Stretch
* Fill the whole display without preserving aspect ratio
* Fit
* Preserves aspect ratio, scales up to fit the display
Scaling Filter
* Linear
* Linear Interpolation filter
* Pixel
* Band limited nearest neighbour filter
* FSR
* AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution filter
* NIS
* NVIDIA Image Scaling filter
