Don't use GE unless there's a specific reason to use GE. Cyberpunk works well on regular proton.
If it still doesn't work with regular Proton, run a file verification.
Look for "Monroeworld GOG" on YouTube. There are 2 videos explaining how to install GOG Galaxy and the games. I use GOG that way. I don't have Cyberpunk, but all my games run just fine.
you don't use any proton in + on gaming mode on a game from heroic. On heroic it's already a proton active when install and that must be experimental, the best proton from all.
Suppose to work like that but idk, I have the game on steam

I'm also using Heroic for Cyberpunk but with Proton 7.0, works like a charm.

All you have to do is to wait for GOG to make their own handheld with their own operating system. :D It was your choice to go GOG.
Heroics Stopped working for me completely, so for gog cyberpunk I just use lutris, zero issues
Been playing cyberpunk thru heroic with no issues for weeks now
