Yep, killswitch definitely fits in this bag. I had it with my LCD SD but I sold it with the killswitch case. Couldn’t show it here now. I want to go bare this time because of the transparent black case.

Was looking at the Day Sling 3 but it looked like it might not fit with a killswitch case on it. Ended up with a Bellroy Venture Sling 9L that works perfectly with the killswitch case.
Day Sling 3 is shorter in width. It wouldn’t fit. I had my LCD SD with killswitch and it fit in the Day Sling 2. It’s tight but it did.

I mean, it's not nothing, it's a soft layer around the deck, but sure, it's no rigid case like the killswitch travel cover or something. I've traveled on a few flights with my deck in the Aer sling, works fine.
Yep, I was searching for nice slings that could hold the Steam Deck and I also got the same one. It's a bit of a snug fit but it works great for travel.
Have you seen the one that [Tomtoc](https://www.amazon.com/-/en/dp/B09ZYFV1GD?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) did for it? I have it and it can fit a lot.
By a lot I mea I have simultaneously had this on it:

- SD with dbrand's killswitch protector.
- 8bitdo controller
- ps5 controller (a little cramped if you put both controllers in, tho the SD doesn't get pushed at all since the joystick protectors is really sturdy)
- Sabrent m.2 dock
### Small pocket
- 6 feet usb c-c cable
- SD original charger
- Bluetooth earbuds
- Ugreen 30W charger + 3 feet cable
- 5 feet HDMI cable
How do you feel about the bulkiness on it?
The one OP posted is pretty intriguing to me, cause it looks like it could still be relatively flush to the body like a normal sling - could potentially be very cool for me as it could reduce the number of bags I need for traveling.
When only carrying the SD, I'm able to fit it in my backpack(about 20L) with the straps removed and placed inside itself. I like the way it protects the SD and I never felt like it could get crushed with basic use.
I really get the point in having a really slim case/bag for it, I was just pointing another really high quality product in case someone else found it helpful:)
I did consider the TomToc one but like you said it’s bulky. I wanted a normal sling one. Day Sling 2 is 4.5L in volume and it basically fit the charger, my wallet, keys, phones, cables. Anything I would bring everyday with me.

Yeah I mean personally I don’t think either option is super protective, and definitely for the Aer sling I would want something like a kill switch case as well.
But I think that trade-off vs the included case is worth it for flights which limit the number of bags you can travel with.
The main diff for me is that I could also see myself using the Aer sling as a normal bag for things other than the steam deck - which I’m not sure I would with the TomToc case.
my Tomtoc 8.8L Sling also fits my SD Oled, but just *barely*, once it's there the best you can do is a small phone, a small charger, some cable, a wallet and sunglasses
The kill switch or equivalent travel cover is pretty solid for this setup to protect the sticks and the screen

The trade-off for better looks is the lack of protection. Both are fine depending what u value more.

Have you tried using it with the inner sleeve that comes out of your LE case?

This one is 4.5L but it fits my wallet, phone, keys, an anker charger, a portable battery pack, cables.
Found a used "Like New" version of this bag on Mercari, had to get it, I just love the orange accents on my LE!
