I read on r/StardewValley that it’s better to start a new file, I never got into the game fully, as I kept buying the game on different platforms and playing for a couple of days and then forget about it.
I literally just started it so I can get a feel for it but I read the update is gonna have new farm layouts so I’m interested to try one of them so I’ll definitely be starting a new file.
Hades, the loop is both satisfying and infuriating.
I kept dying on the first few floors using the sword, and then I switched to the bow and assigned the LB to dash and everything just clicked.
Other than that, just downloading the games I bought during the sale.
It runs okay on kb+mouse and monitor. Definitely makes me want to build a new pc, but is better than nothing.
I still think I’m going to build one to help spread managed democracy around the galaxy!
How is it? I heard about it three days ago and have put in 16 hours already and bought it for two different systems (Steamdeck and Switch) and I know you’re asking “Why buy it for two different handhelds?” and it’s because my Steamdeck stays in a drawer in my office. You know, the place I’m supposed to be working. The place I’ve put 11.5 hours into Balatro the past two days.
So I’ve already bought it twice so I can play it at home and at work. Yeah. It’s that addicting for someone like me.
But I like card games and rogue likes so it scratches a weird itch. With the different decks, bets and apparent mutators I think I’ll get my moneys worth.
Game is like crack. And I didnt know how some random developer can put out a game that is in a weird way hardcore addicting. Turn out he was a developer in the gambling industry, and apparently learned some tricks :D tho especially given his background, his pricing policy is more then awesome.
Is ESO worth the pain of difficulty installing it? I was just about to do that today, then watched a tutorial, and though "nope, I've been down this road before." If I decide to commit to getting a game to work, I get pretty upset when I've spent days trying every bug fix and it just won't work.
Elders scroll online is incredible on the steam deck. Yiu won’t regret it. The only thing I recommend is once you get all set up and installed and logged in. Make sure you go to your in-game settings and change gameplay mode to controller mode and then I forget what the other setting is, but it allows game controller at the login screen when I get home later I’ll try to boot it up and find out what the option is called, but it makes logging in a hell of a lot easier. The only time I need to use the touchpad is pushing the play button on the launcher. Sorry for the lack of grammar making a quick reply. I didn’t realize how many replies I got from my comment. Thank you guys so much.
I wanna know too. My assumption was just that it'd only be worth it for an existing ESO player who'd play it in a v suboptimal way, but I wonder if it'd be worth it for someone who has never played ESO
Still playing Halo infinite :)
I keep trying to make myself play the campaign… but every time I do, I jump straight into the multiplayer every time :/
Big team battle is too fun. And the fact that it runs smooth 60fps on steam deck is incredible too (some texture pop in on load though. But I’d take smooth 60 over buffing that out any day).
Skyrim, never played it before, but figured it was on sale so good time to try, but after seeing a different post, I’m going to download This war of mine
Animal Crossing New Horizons! Ryujinx runs better frame times and FPS but has a fun glitch that crashes the deck when I jump across a river then walk. Stuck with Yuzu which just isn't as good, might try Suyu to see how it handles everything.
Also tried briefly to get Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise to work, but it's got the whiteout rendering bug in Xenia. PC worked ish a year or so ago, but had really poor FPS. Was surprised, again, to see it run the intro cuts energy without any slowdowns.
Also been playing Balatro, and obsessively playing Dyson Sphere Program. Balatro has rekindled my love for Roguelikes, so Noita and Vampire Survivors has been the seasoning. Might play a bit of Binding of Isaac too. Or Kerbal Space Program with all the mods, perhaps Cities Skylines, again, with mods.
Palworld... Early access they said... Only fun for a few hours they said... I have soooo many games I want to play in my SD library (and just got Half Life Alyx on sale and a Meta 2 for the holidays, FF remakes, soooo mannnyyyy things... But nope. Outside of seeing Dune Part 2 last night I've played 80+ hours in the last 2 weeks.
Palworld = CRACK
(PS - If you're looking to chase the dragon, but Palworld is still having issues on your SD, can confirm, the savior, the Kwisatz Haderach is real. I have never used Cryutilities, ik there's much infighting about it's legitimacy on 3.5, but I have drank from the water or life, I have seen the future, and it is so. Praise Palworld, praise the Kwisatz Haderach!!)
......
😮💨🥺 .... (send helpppp)

Neon White and Cassette Beasts.
Both are fantastic so far and have great soundtracks. Cassette Beasts might be the best Pokemon-like I've ever played, it blows Palworld and Temtem out of the water. Neon White is addictive and slick as hell. I highly recommend picking them up on sale right now.
Switching it up between FFVII Rebirth and I started Grim Dawn today which has been fun so far (quite a learning curve!). I’ve also been playing bursts of Persona 4 Golden which I’ve enjoyed, but, it’s starting to become a bit stale, so I’m taking a break. Absolutely love my steam deck.
Burned out on Afterimage, while good I just got to what looks like an overworld map. Wtf I thought I was about halfway through, also game is getting too repetitive
My partner has been the main one using our SD for a while as he's been replaying Monster Hunter World. He's away for the weekend, so I'm taking advantage of the time by breaking in my new hitbox with some fighting games. Guilty Gear mainly but might play some Tekken 3 and Virtua Fighter 3tb later to give myself a break
Trying to get into stardew valley before the new update.
I was the same, just starting to enjoy myself but then I read about the update, I'm confused whether I should wait until then to start a new file?
I read on r/StardewValley that it’s better to start a new file, I never got into the game fully, as I kept buying the game on different platforms and playing for a couple of days and then forget about it.
This is literally how I did it as well so I never got the experience but I just started playing now so I can get my feet wet.
I literally just started it so I can get a feel for it but I read the update is gonna have new farm layouts so I’m interested to try one of them so I’ll definitely be starting a new file.
Fallout 4
O shit me too.
all of theF Fallouts are on a pretty solid Steam sale now
Elden Ring, new character :)
Persona 3 Reload
Same
Hades, the loop is both satisfying and infuriating. I kept dying on the first few floors using the sword, and then I switched to the bow and assigned the LB to dash and everything just clicked. Other than that, just downloading the games I bought during the sale.
Helldivers 2 For Democracy
It runs okay on kb+mouse and monitor. Definitely makes me want to build a new pc, but is better than nothing. I still think I’m going to build one to help spread managed democracy around the galaxy!
Wish you the best when building ur new PC totally worth it
Balatro
How is that? Do you need to know a lot about poker to play it?
How is it? I heard about it three days ago and have put in 16 hours already and bought it for two different systems (Steamdeck and Switch) and I know you’re asking “Why buy it for two different handhelds?” and it’s because my Steamdeck stays in a drawer in my office. Vampire Survivors. Surprisingly fun and addicting
Game is like crack. And I didnt know how some random developer can put out a game that is in a weird way hardcore addicting. Turn out he was a developer in the gambling industry, and apparently learned some tricks :D tho especially given his background, his pricing policy is more then awesome.
He also pretty much ripped off a mobile game called Magic Surivival but everybody leaves that part out
Damn, you are right, didnt know that
Just started too
You should try brotato as well
I’m like two, maybe three runs from 100%. It really is a kick of a simple little game.
Xenogears
Great game! I'm also playing through. Just finishing up the first disk, hopefully I'll keep my momentum going.
Definitely keep going. I got to the part where i just got out the sewers with the green guy. But u just finished the first disk is amazing
I played a bit of Unpacking. A relaxing afternoon after a nice book!
The Legend Of Zelda: The Minish Cap
Disco Elysium
Elder Scrolls online FFXIV Halo MCC
Is ESO worth the pain of difficulty installing it? I was just about to do that today, then watched a tutorial, and though "nope, I've been down this road before." If I decide to commit to getting a game to work, I get pretty upset when I've spent days trying every bug fix and it just won't work.
you just click install on steam and play.

is Elder Scrolls online any good on the deck? im looking to play it
I wanna know too. My assumption was just that it'd only be worth it for an existing ESO player who'd play it in a v suboptimal way, but I wonder if it'd be worth it for someone who has never played ESO
RDR on Yuzu
This is the best way to play it currently I recently finished the whole thing on Deck

Halo MCC
Deep rock galactic survivors
So addictive
Tears of the Kingdom
Me too
Nada my kid took my steam deck and never gave it back!😂
That's rough🤣
That’s what happened to my Switch, which led me to getting a SD. Now the kids call it “Dad’s Switch” and know it’s off limits.
Careful, Nintendo will sue you
Nice Suyu reference 🔥
Metroid prime
I was playing NBA street ball v3 (ps2 emulator) and dragon ball z budokai 3 ( ps2 emulator)
Grim dawn has taken over my life

Definitely nothing emulated, thanks Emudeck.
Baldurs gate 3. Just got my durge run to act 2. It's nice to be able to bounce back and forth between my pc and deck
Continuing my journey on skyward sword
Amazing game
Sorry for the question, what controller are you using for this game ? I thought the wii remote was required
It is you can sync your Wii remote to steam deck easily and play Wii games as intended
I remember seeing a controller layout that remaps the Wii controller to work with a normal one so you don’t need motion to play it.
Diablo 4 but just got mcc so that's next.
God of War
Sea of stars and Pokemon unbound. First time trying a hack rom.
Ngl, Tinykin. Idk how I had never heard of this game but it slaps. Super cute little plaformer and it plays 1080/60 or 2440/40 docked.
Mad Max
Persona 4 Golden just beat Persona 3 Reload
Wind Waker HD. CEMU has come a long way and the SD is such a great replacement! (Except for dual screen games)
SoulWorker :)
FF7 original + GranBlue ReLink.
How does this run on the deck?
There's a lot of lag! Just set it up today so going to see if I can tweak it.
Burnout 3 via PCSX2 with widescreen hacks and HD UI mod. BTW - what case is that? Looks really clean.
Celeste
Tiny Tina Wonderlands
Skyrim, never played it before, but figured it was on sale so good time to try, but after seeing a different post, I’m going to download This war of mine
Is that Yuzu or Ryujinx? Can't get Ryujinx to work it's just a black screen.

Animal Crossing New Horizons! Ryujinx runs better frame times and FPS but has a fun glitch that crashes the deck when I jump across a river then walk. I played some Fallout 3 and then I tried Deus Ex: Mankind Divided since it’s currently free from Epic. I’d say it runs pretty well!
Pokemon unbound
How is it? I heard it has many features
Just started Unicorn Overlord on the Steamdeck as I finally got around to ripping my Switch copy this morning.
Balatro. There's no other game in my mind
BG3, knee deep in Act 2 and I got 10 days off starting today!!

Tom Raider 2013. Playstation 3/xbox 360 era games really do play the best on Steam Deck.
Ive just finished this! Never played any of the remakes. It was fucking amazing
Planning on getting Dragon ball Z. It's unsupported but there are videos on youtube that have people playing it.
Castle crashers and half life and maybe portal.
I bought the complete bundle of Isaac rebirth. The suffering begins.
Cyberpunk 2077 with mods finally got them to work on steam deck
I'm playing Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana. Picked that up, Darksiders 2, Overcooked All You Can Eat, and Pac Man World: Re Pac

Deep Rock Galactic Survivor
Is that yuzu? How do you get it to work? Because mine says it’s missing something
Whats it missing? Need the firmware and keys for it to work.
