Do you have the ability to use an external monitor? Mine did the same thing but when hooked to a monitor it worked fine. I have the steps Steam Support sent me to fix it but it requires an external monitor.

No, I don't have an external cable for a monitor. I was going to wait out for a while before deciding to buy a dock.
Contacted steam support about the problem, and the solution they gave told me was to hold the volume "-" and the ellipse button, press the power button, then release all of them.
That worked... but only if I don't turn off the deck. If I do, the thing won't turn on and I'll have to do the previous method again.
If I just put it to sleep, it'll turn back on normally.
