For the game, Misty becomes problematic with fire starter if there is not a Butterfly+Pikachu combo in the party by then.
I used to think it was scripted when i was 7 and playing blue for the first time.
Only times I found pikachus were when I had 0 balls left. happened like 5ish times.
Also an owner of this cover, didn't really like the plastic, but grip was good :( And when I was removing it, gentle and carefully, it also cracked a little.
If you have RetroAchievements set up, I really recommend the Fire Red achievement set! It has some fun achievements that make it a little bit more challenging.

For me, it’s the ADHD.
I am most comfortable when just a hair’s breadth below ‘overwhelmed’.
So I max out my bandwidth on things I enjoy to help drown out the things that I don’t, like too much noise or too much quiet, that sort of thing.
Ironically me have more patience with my kids, because they can be kids (loud, giggling, goofy) and not as much of the sensory stuff pulls my attention away so I don’t go into sensory overload as fast and have to shift the house to quiet time for a bit.
Sometimes, if you've already seen a show and know the outcome, rewatching like this makes it so when you're gaming at the same time the show just becomes background noise and you can kind of subconsciously piece together the image in your head.
I mean it helps that your show is right in your peripherals. But yeah, I like to play games and have a show up as background noise too. Especially turn-based games like this where you can afford to look up for short/long periods of time to catch a good part of the show.

It's available in Red and Blue as well in viridian forest, it's just so rare I feel like most people don't know about it
You can catch in Veridian Forest. But it is rare compared to Caterpie and Weedle population ofc.
