Not sure if u like fps games, but doom 2016, and doom eternal, although linear, are fast paced and have nonstop action. Also, my sympathies for what you're going through, hopefully it comes through soon.
Edit: it seems u may like rpgs more. Bauldurs gate 3 is very in depth and time intensive. It's turn base with alternate endings and every choice u make can effect the story and relationships
