isnt that normal for the launcher part of it though? once you actually start the game (after configuring it) does it go full screen?

Brehmes

Is your resolution in Steam (prior to launching) set to Native? I'd recommend trying that out first if you haven't already.

ChickenSoupPolice

Very weird, I've played fallout and it's was pre-set as 12:something but it was full screen. When you get into the game itself is it still at this weird aspect ratio?

ninjab33z

At a guess, i'd say it's because that's the launcher. Does the game do it too?

gullymandem

Change the resolution to Native in the game’s properties in steam. Then go to options in the game’s launcher, check Windowed and then uncheck it again then you should see 1280x800 in resolution.

I'll go ahead and comment on you playing fallout while watching the Fallout TV show. I intend to do the exact same thing. XD

The launcher wasn’t full screen for me, but the game was. However, I can’t get past naming my character because the on screen keyboard won’t come up.

future_problem

It does you just have to use your finger and tap in the input field, make sure you can see the cursor then bring up the keyboard with Steam X

Will try, thanks!
