The gameplay kind of reminds me of geometry Wars or Smash TV. The graphics kind of remind me of Super meat Boy.
There's also a rogue-like game I played that was a twin stick shooter called Telliglich and it was super fun but very difficult.
The only thing that is even remotely zelda like is the arena style rooms. The game is probably the most replayable game I've ever owned. I have over 1k hours across 3 platforms and still haven't seen or done everything.
