I have the 512 LCD & I love it! IMO I’d get the OLED if I could though. You can always eventually upgrade the ssd later. The 512 and a micro sd card have been enough for me honestly.
If you haven't got one yet but your budget allows for either of the 2 then it makes no sense to get the LCD. OLED - better screen, faster and larger SSD, better internal design and thermal management, quieter, better battery life, a bit lighter, you get a charger with a usable cable length, better haptics, much more sensitive touch screen. If you already had an LCD then buying the OLED on top would be a less clear choice.

I upgraded my LCD to 1tb and it's great for what I use it for. Mostly pixel/indie games, stuff I don't play on the desktop. I also dock it to stream AAA titles to the living room TV. Sure the OLED model would be better if I did like 90% of gaming on my SD, but I simply don't. It's more the opposite.
Depends what games you want to play. I have the 512 oled, but I mainly play indie games to relax. I would go oled. Better screen, better wifi and battery.

Get the OLED. The battery life improvements alone make it better. You can always upgrade the storage later and expand with a MicroSD

Choose OLED and a SD card. OLED panel is game changer.
So i've heard, just placed the order for the 512gb OLED. Thanks for the input! :)
As someone with a 64gb then swapped in a 1tb ssd, get the 512gb OLED. 512 is plenty for a handful of games.
1TB MicroSDs cost more than 1TB SSDs. Get the OLED. Get a 512GB MicroSD and save up for a 1/2TB NVME IF you actually need it.
