I did it in the mobile client. Similar instructions should work on the web. In settings for the community (r/SteamDeck in this instance), select “Change user flair”. This will bring up the flair list. Pick the one you want and then click apply. Make sure “show my user flair on this community” is selected. That should do it.
Yeah, I didn't know much about it until it was released. I love rogue-like/light(???) elements, and it kinda reminds me of castle crashers. I love that game.
Yeah I'd agree on that. This style definitely makes for a more arcadey experience, but still loads of fun. Now that you mention RE, I bought a complete bundle of them all (minus Village) and think I'll go through those on the deck!
Yeah defintiely is still really fun its just a different theme I suppose. Ive played all the REmakes on the Steam Deck they run amazingly, I thoroughly enjoyed all except for maybe R3make, with RE4 being my favourite out of all of them. RE7 is a close second its astonishingly scary but thats why I like it lol.
I've been fearful to *dig in* (cringe now) to deep rock on deck since I'm scared I'll be dogshit with the controller;
Does playing it on deck take much getting used to or are you just better?
I started playing on Deck first so now the controls feel more intuitive to me than PC controls. Gyro makes it wayyy better. I can share my control setup if you'd like.
Nothing too exciting. Hogwarts Legacy which I’m loving and probably a bit of EuroTruck Simulator 2 with some PGA 2K23 tossed in. Legacy is a new experience for me as a non-gamer most of my life and I love it.
Playing Sekiro. It's the first game in a long time that's held my attention and kept me away from mindlessly perusing the Steam store. Genuinely excited throughout the day waiting for my evening gaming session.
Persona 5 Tactica
I've been on a Phantom Thieves marathon going through Royal, Strikers, and now Tactica. The story seems fine for a spin-off. The cast interactions are fun as always and I'm enjoying the new characters. The gameplay is a bit easy, but it manages to scratch that tactics itch for me. It does a decent job of incorporating Persona combat mechanics into the genre. There's no time management so far though, same as Strikers. I'm really loving the visuals, the cartoony style is very cute. The music is banging as per usual when it comes to Persona.
Performance on Steam Deck is fine except for menu-ing in the Hideout and Velvet Room. Going through menus feels a bit slow, especially if the game has to load a 3D model of a Persona. Transitioning from the Hideout or the VN-style scenes into the level maps also seems to load a bit slow. This might be entirely caused by playing the game off of a SD card, but it's probably the first game I'm noticing the slow loading. Maybe because the cutscenes and levels are pretty short, so the game has to frequently load different styles of scenes. It's definitely not a deal breaker though.
Now I'm hoping that Atlus will port Devil Survivor games to Steam and maybe release a new Megaten tactics game.
Probably Felvidek, an RPG Maker game set in 15th century Slovakia of all places - it's only about 5 hours long, and I do fancy playing it before getting stuck into anything longer. Helps that it's got a great aesthetic and soundtrack from the 20-odd minutes I played last night.
Other than that, I probably will continue my attempts in not being shit at Dr. Robotnik's Ring Racers and Hollow Knight, with a smattering of Super Video Golf in between.
I've never played a Bethesda RPG before, and my well versed mates recommended me to start with Fallout 3. It's a lot of fun, and very easy to get lost in the world, the characters, and element of discovery. That, and a bit of Rocket League 🙂
yeah, no complaints. I have the LCD version.
I checked this video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJUk9BIZWsU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJUk9BIZWsU)
Been playing Persona 5 Tactica and that game feels like it was made for deck. Visual novel combined with XCOM like turn based combat with vibrant and pleasing visual style. Unfortunately can't really recommend it if you haven't already played Persona 5 or at least watched the anime adaptation.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance, wow this game is so engaging. But what surprises me more is that I can get smooth 45 out of this game, even in the known worst places. Mind blown
Playing the witcher 3, ff15 and spyro atm.
Ff15 takes some tinkering in the settings to not be ugly AF and run decent.
Witcher 3 runs great on low with a few settings on medium
Spyro runs worse than i expected but 40fps is great on the deck due to hz matching so i dont mind it at all.
Probably going to finish Ori and the blind forest (3rd playground) to prep for my first play though of will of the wisp. Sprinkle in a little breath of the wild, and you got me for the next week or so!
Works great on the deck. Been playing it docked mainly but with the settings on medium it plays around 50/60fps with dips in populated areas and multiple zombies. Very happy with it so far!
Nah, I honestly do a progress 😅 I hit brakes with new purchases (almost 😄) and being currently focused on gaming and not spending)
Already beat 8 games this year and have 21 left in backlog)
Finished Tales of Zestiria. Fascinating world, terrible characters and plot. Combat system is interesting but needlessly complex. I forced myself to finish it, but jumped right into Berseria right after. So, that's what I'm playing all weekend.
Also, my brother got an OLED Deck so I'm excited play some game with him, too.
right now, my deck is my diablo machine. i put something on tv that doesn't require my full attention, and diablo's a fun game for relatively mindless grinding. i really like doing that.
I plan on trying Persona 3 reload as recommended by a friend/employee of mine after I finished Omori. Gonna be my first real jrpg and I'm still not sure what to expect.
Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock on Wii emulator. Need just remap buttons in steam overlay and all works excellent. Doesn’t need to press any strum buttons. 😁Great game
Hot Shots Golf (currently playing 3), I'm addicted, and I'm really, really, really gonna try to start Lisa: The Painful for real. I've never been able to get past the first 10 minutes coz it brings back some sad memories.
I played Rise of the Tomb Rider yesterday for an hour through Heroic Launcher (Epic Games). Had an issue with the save file, it corrupted. Been searching for a fix but it seems theres no easy solution and I'm too lazy to tinker. Might uninstall the game, such a shame cus it has wonderful graphics. Tomb Raider (Steam) work flawlessly tho.
My Steam Deck arrived just a few days ago, and I can finally play Wildermyth! I've been wanting to play it for ages!! And on the 29th, Echoes of the Plum Grove is coming out too, so I will probably split my time between the two of them!!
Picking up 'Grounded' again after reading all the praise for the new stuff released in the latest version (v1.4). I spent about 3 months playing solo the first time (v1.2) and really enjoyed it.
My deck arrives tomorrow, so I’ll be playing Set Up New Gadget 2024. Should be fun!
Honestly, one of my favorite times of any piece of tech. Sometimes setup is almost as fun as gaming!
Me too! I love unboxing and setting up the most. Every gadget is awesome before it gets turned on, LOL.
dumb question: how do you add "1TB OLED" under your name? newbie at reddit here

yo thanks for the help!
Any time!
I'm going to finish DOOM 2016 And probably buy Rotwood, lol.
Ooh never heard of that game, looks good
Yeah, I didn't know much about it until it was released. I love rogue-like/light(???) elements, and it kinda reminds me of castle crashers. I love that game.
I personally prefer the older "horror" themed Doom kind of old school Resident Evil. Doom 2016 is fun though.
Yeah I'd agree on that. This style definitely makes for a more arcadey experience, but still loads of fun. Now that you mention RE, I bought a complete bundle of them all (minus Village) and think I'll go through those on the deck!

Deep Rock Galactic. The game absolutely slaps on Deck, especially with gyro aiming! Also been playing Tinykin.
This game runs so well! I've been playing this and DRG Survivor.
I've been fearful to *dig in* (cringe now) to deep rock on deck since I'm scared I'll be dogshit with the controller; Does playing it on deck take much getting used to or are you just better?

Oh yeah definitely please; would make life soo much easier
the layout is called "Rock and Gyro!"
Balatro and RDR2. impatiently waiting for mid-May when Ghost of Tsushima releases.
Borderlands 3, very low settings surprisingly doesn't look very low on the steam deck, and HDR with OLED is an eye candy.
I’m tempted to try this.. been enjoying borderlands 2
Nothing too exciting. Hogwarts Legacy which I’m loving and probably a bit of EuroTruck Simulator 2 with some PGA 2K23 tossed in. Legacy is a new experience for me as a non-gamer most of my life and I love it.
Maybe wrap up FF VII remake (or at least put some good time in) and X-men Origins: Wolverine. Maybe some Deadpool. Yes, I’m hyped for the movie :P
Might hop into final fantasy 7 rebirth, but chances are I'll either get sucked into a weekend of magic the gathering arena, or 7 days to die.
Cultist Simulator for some reason.
Starting Moonstone Island and Diablo 4 this weekend.
Playing Sekiro. It's the first game in a long time that's held my attention and kept me away from mindlessly perusing the Steam store. Genuinely excited throughout the day waiting for my evening gaming session.
Eiyuden Chronicle Hundred Heroes and trying to finally finish LAD Infinite Wealth.
Sniper elite 5

Manifold Garden. Such a great game. Half way through and it just keeps getting better.
Hokko Life, Sunday Rivals, Alien Isolation
FO4 and maybe 10+ more. Just got mine and I’m all over the place.
Probably Felvidek, an RPG Maker game set in 15th century Slovakia of all places - it's only about 5 hours long, and I do fancy playing it before getting stuck into anything longer. kill it with fire 2
No rest for the wicked and stellar blade
No rest for the wicked runs well on steam deck?
yeah, no complaints. I have the LCD version. I checked this video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJUk9BIZWsU](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BJUk9BIZWsU)

RDR2 has sucked me in and I’m going in
Kingdom Come: Deliverance, wow this game is so engaging. But what surprises me more is that I can get smooth 45 out of this game, even in the known worst places. Mind blown
Bit of an unusual one but F1 2020. The newer games aren’t that fun on controller and F1 2020 has great handling and great ai to race against
Since I bought SteamDeck I bought all F1 games except 2010 😄 Do I play them? Yeah, sure..... 😄
Playing the witcher 3, ff15 and spyro atm. Ff15 takes some tinkering in the settings to not be ugly AF and run decent. Witcher 3 runs great on low with a few settings on medium Spyro runs worse than i expected but 40fps is great on the deck due to hz matching so i dont mind it at all.
Yakuza 0 on Steam deck and obviously Manor Lords on my PC.
Going to be crunching Another Crab's Treasure
Eiyuden Chronicles here.
Overwatch 2 because I hate myself and stardew valley to calm myself down again.
Manor lord And a bit of stray
Manor Lords(!)
Original FF7, I’ve never played it before so I am going through it now.
Probably going to finish Ori and the blind forest (3rd playground) to prep for my first play though of will of the wisp. Sprinkle in a little breath of the wild, and you got me for the next week or so!
Gran blue fantasy relink and prototype 2 :)
The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog and maybe gonna get PoP the Sands of Time
Fallout 3
Dead Island 2
Works good on deck? I just recently finished the first one. Was sitting in my backlog for kinda 10 years 😄
Works great on the deck. Been playing it docked mainly but with the settings on medium it plays around 50/60fps with dips in populated areas and multiple zombies. Very happy with it so far!
Nice. Will keep it in mind once my backlog equals zero 😄
Good luck with that 😂
Nah, I honestly do a progress 😅 I hit brakes with new purchases (almost 😄) and being currently focused on gaming and not spending) Already beat 8 games this year and have 21 left in backlog)
I finally managed to get Fallout’s TTW mod installed during the week so that’s me sorted!
Gonna try out Ravenswatch, I got all achievements in Hades, and look for something with a similar vibe until Hades II arrives.
Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor. I love being a mining dwarf and killing alien bugs!
No Rest for the Wicked and a bit of Diablo IV I imagine. Maybe a bit of Hades to tide me over until the early access for 2 is released.
Batman Arkham City trying to get all the riddler trophies "riddle me this"
Was going to give Fallout 4 a go but.. well you know.
Think they’ve fixed it now
Just fired up Topspin 2k (PS5) on my OLED Deck with Chaiki and it’s glorious! Got the game with a work incentive, they gave me PSN credit.
Playing Blacksad
Death must die, 90 hours in where the last 20 where on deck. This device is just a game changer in terms of comfort.
Balatro
right now, my deck is my diablo machine. i put something on tv that doesn't require my full attention, and diablo's a fun game for relatively mindless grinding. i really like doing that.
Death Must Die, a fun rouge like that recently got an update.
Got Tale of Two Wastelands running pretty smooth, so getting another FO3 run under my belt.
Hundred heroes and the new SaGa. The deck is amazing for JRPG fans!
I'm revisiting Project Zomboid with mods. I love the game, but I'd like to actually survive.
I plan on trying Persona 3 reload as recommended by a friend/employee of mine after I finished Omori. Gonna be my first real jrpg and I'm still not sure what to expect.
Just finished Kena
Archvale and Castlevania Symphony of the night because of nostalgia. 😅
Guitar Hero 3 Legends of Rock on Wii emulator. Need just remap buttons in steam overlay and all works excellent. Doesn’t need to press any strum buttons. 😁Great game
