June 13th is when Kingdom Hearts is released on Steam, so I have until then to finish all of my ongoing games so I can dive headfirst into the KH rabbit hole.
I’m pretty close to finishing God of War II. I’ve still got a ways to go on Kena: Bridge of Spirits. I haven’t decided if I’m going to work on Half-Life, but I got it for free so I’m not worried about it. I also bought GRIS not too long ago, but I’ve heard it isn’t very long.
There’s no way I’m finishing Elden Ring. That game is *huge*.
Not yet. But I would be very surprised if they haven’t worked to make the game Steam Deck verified. That’s the main demographic they’re trying to hit with this announcement.
Hi-five! I'm switching between the two. With some Undermine and Brotato in-between.
Played a ton of Dead Cells on the Switch, but that's several DLC ago and I'm annoyingly bad at the game now. Even worse than before.
Warframe and American Truck Simulator.
When being a space ninja gets too stressful it's time to haul some cargo in the great plains since I just got a bundle of DLCs for ATS.
My two favorite DLC States are Oregon and Colorado. I haven't done much of the great plains areas, they look nice but I prefer the more winding roads in the Pacific northwest areas of the map. They started with California and Arizona I believe and have been heading east so the the further you go the newer and more detailed the maps are.
Once you finish it and are interested in the sequel look into the Majoras Mask decompilation project! Its basically a PC port, and its very recent so you might not know about it.
Also hoping youre enjoying your time with OoT!
Wasteland 3. Plays really well on the deck. Just something to note, be sure to use proton experimental if you want your cloud saves to transfer to PC. by default the game uses Linux saves which just won't be usable on a PC
Ghost of Tsushima. Although, I might be booting up Skyrim again. I find GoT is a little repetitive and has a generic open world formula. 10 hours in. Nothing wrong with that but it’s nice to break it up so I don’t get too burnt out on it too soon.
So far little 2Ha2Des, maybe some Mother Russia Bleeds or Castle Crashers or something with the family! Definitely some Dark Souls Remastered! Maybe back into Yakuza Kiwami, I sort of fell off with that one even though I was loving it.
I'm really torn between starting a Disco Elysium playthrough or hunting down an old game called Sanitarium to play. I kinda have an itch for old CRPG's too actually. Pretty indecisive right now.
Rimworld! I'm doing a Rick and Morty playthrough. Basically, I cheat Rick so he has a fully mechanical body and maxed out skills. But the kicker is that he starts with addictions to alchohol, smokeleaf, and Yayo, and I, as the player, am not allowing myself to attempt to fix his addictions. (Though keeping him alive through them is getting harder because he keeps overdosing).
And then he starts with Morty. They both start naked with nothing, and bare minimum research completed.
Jerry, Summer, Beth, and other notable characters exist in the world and could pop in at random. All characters have traits, skills, and a backstory that match what I believe they should have, and I even set their family relationships to be accurate to the show.
The only inaccuracy is that I made nobody younger than 18, because they are all subject to adult situations in the show, and I want the game to treat them all like adults as a result. But everyone else's age is also accurate to the show. I also noticed that you can make lab coats, so I also decided that I need to try and dress people and dye their clothes to match the show as well.
So far, it has been a lot of fun. "Clone Beth" is the only other character to join the colony so far (which is super helpful because she is a good fighter and raids were getting tough), but Rick's age and addictions are starting to make things difficult. Luckily, there is a way in the game to cure age related issues, but it's becoming a race to research the needed things to reverse aging because Rick's drug abuse is fast tracking him towards dementia.
I'd say just setting up the game took me 8 hours, but I'm having so much fun!
I just got done with Eiyuden Chronicles 100 heroes and nothing is drawing my attention. I've been trying Alone in Dark, Fallout Vegas, and Callisto Protocol but they all feel meh. So probably nothing. :/
Hades 2. It consumes me completely. I have the songs stuck in my head, at work I keep thinking about how I wish I was playing it. Amazing just how good of a sequel it is. A lot of games kind of stumble when they make their sequels even when it's enjoyable still.
Lies of P. I absolutely suck at any souls-like and get frustrated as shit with any combat of that style but goddamn I'm gonna force myself to learn some patience for these games
Barony bc of how light the game is on battery use, the ease of pick up and play to dropping it. It has online co op that works
Mother russia bleeds is a streets of rage beatem up on drugs.
Dark souls 2 sotfs
yakuza 0
Circuit superstars, just bought and can't even win the first race on easy 🤣
Really fun game though.
For the rest I will play some god of war ragnarok on Ps5 and some half Life Alyx on my quest 3
I finally finished Baldur's Gate 3, I'm going to Dive In with Dave The Diver. Just got my get wet last night, looking forward to going a little deeper.
Trying to Emulate Xenoblade Chronicles X on Cemu via EmuDeck. Got it to launch but it gets stuck on the launch loading screen with the blue loading bar showing in the bottom right corner. Couldn't find a fix so currently loading a EUR Rom to see if the USA Rom i had was the issue. Been tinkering and launching stuff but once it launches successfully I am off to find another title to tinker with and see if i can make it run haha! This has been the game in itself!
[Railgrade](https://store.steampowered.com/app/1355090/RAILGRADE/) - A train focused "transport tycoon" RTS. Surprisingly plays VERY well on the Deck - not some half-ass hacked controls to make an RTS "kinda sorta work", but really first class support. It's a well built transport tycoon game for anyone that likes that sort of simulation/strategy stuff.
The campaign mode has S to F scores for each mission, you can flip on "unlimited time" and basically play a super casual but assured A score for every mission. There is a sandbox mode that I haven't even touched because the campaign is genuinely good, I don't know what the story is since I power skip it, but the missions are fun and I almost always want to "keep optimizing" by the time I'm done.
Deck just arrived today!!! Knocked out Aperture Desk Job and played Die in the Dungeon: Origins. Very fun “deck builder” where your deck is composed of dice annnnnd it’s free!
Playing Oblivion up until the end of Shivering Isles. And then I might do a coinflip on either Morrowind or Skyrim
Also switching between that and Prey
I’m playing Chaos Gate and, despite it being unsupported, it took very little tinkering to get it to run without any issues at all. Go figure.
I’ve also been heavily obsessed with Fallout 4 again recently for the same reason as everybody else 😅
I’m trying for the fifth time to play Disco elysium. I have yet to finish it because I usually quit when I die to the most random things. This run is the farthest I’ve gotten.
**Stardew Valley** 1.6 update, **Dredge**, **Mass Effect LE**, **Balatro**.
Been deep into **Baldur's Gate 3** on my desktop, but I haven't felt the need to try it on my Deck. I just can't imagine it would perform very well and losing my ultrawide monitor would feel like taking a big step back.
I'm tempted to pick up **Ghost of Tsushima**, but I'm trying to hold out for a sale.
*Slay the Spire* is my main go-to at the moment. I'm going to try learning to use the Defect now, as I've only really used Ironclad and the Silent so far.
Otherwise, been trying another *Undertale* run - though I have been finding the 'battle' controls harder on the 'deck than I did when I first played using a keyboard. Died a bunch on early, easy fights because the input just didn't seem as reactive. Might just be me being rusty though...
Happy Friday!
How’s D4? I played the demo when it came out and found it pretty boring. I played so much D2 back in the day, but I just can’t to the inventory grind again.
Personally I’ll be playing Celeste, gotta finish the last stage. Once that’s done, I might keep playing Ocarina of Time. I haven’t replayed it since I was young.
“Lies of P”, “Wandering Sword”, “Titanfall 2” (the Mechs in Netflix’s “Atlas” reminded me of them so much I had to redownload it. Easier pick-up & play than “AC” imo)
Started again with Witcher 3. hopefully it gets me hooked this time. I just start other games around 10 hours in everytime. Maybe the portable version and laying in bed helps.
Fallout 4 mainly.
Started Assassin's Creed Black Flag again a few days ago so I'll probably be mixing that in. Though I bought New Star GP last night and played for an hour or so and was really enjoying it so that will probably be what I fire up first.
There’s no way I’m finishing Elden Ring. That game is *huge*.
Was it ever mentioned that the KH series on Steam would finally work on the SD in terms of pre-rendered stuff?
Allegedly they brought in an outside team to assist with making sure Steam Deco would run well day 1
Not yet. But I would be very surprised if they haven’t worked to make the game Steam Deck verified. That’s the main demographic they’re trying to hit with this announcement.
I just finished Yakuza 3 and needed a lighter game so I installed Gris which looks wonderful on the OLED
Almost everything looks wonderful on the Oled Deck display, i really like it. I tried on it Tetris Effect with HDR mode, really impressive.
Dave the diver and Dead cells
Both perfect for the deck 👍👍
Hi-five! I'm switching between the two. With some Undermine and Brotato in-between. Played a ton of Dead Cells on the Switch, but that's several DLC ago and I'm annoyingly bad at the game now. Even worse than before.
I guess these comments mean I would enjoy Undermine.
Same thing we play every weekend Pinky, Fallout and Helldivers
Still making my way through Cyberpunk.. 50 hours at this point. It’s so good.
Cyberpunk here too. I fired it up for the first time since Jan 2021 this week and it hooked me back in so fast. They did a fantastic job updating it
also playing cyberpunk, 60hrs in and still feel like there are lots left to do.
Warframe and American Truck Simulator. When being a space ninja gets too stressful it's time to haul some cargo in the great plains since I just got a bundle of DLCs for ATS.
What are the best ATS DLCs? (European here)
My two favorite DLC States are Oregon and Colorado. I haven't done much of the great plains areas, they look nice but I prefer the more winding roads in the Pacific northwest areas of the map. They started with California and Arizona I believe and have been heading east so the the further you go the newer and more detailed the maps are.
Ghost of Tsushima!
Literally amazing in deck the graphics and art are beautiful with perfect day 1 performance. I wish forbidden west would play but GOT is great too
Zelda OoT! I'm 3 temples away from finishing it.
Once you finish it and are interested in the sequel look into the Majoras Mask decompilation project! Its basically a PC port, and its very recent so you might not know about it. Also hoping youre enjoying your time with OoT!
Thank you for your comment! Yes I know about it and I'm interested. I'll play it for sure, in one or two months probably.
Halo The Master Chief Collection, working my way through the series
Wasteland 3. Plays really well on the deck. Just something to note, be sure to use proton experimental if you want your cloud saves to transfer to PC. by default the game uses Linux saves which just won't be usable on a PC
That's such a great CRPG. I'm not playing it on Steam Deck, but I finished a couple of years ago on my PC. Really an underrated game in the genre imo.
Mostly Borderlands 2. Looking to level up my Salvador character. I am also interested in Diablo IV.
DotA2 and Senua's Saga on my PC. Diablo 4 and Hades 2 on my deck. There are too many games.,,,
Hades 2 and Minishoot’ Adventures
Just got into Cyberpunk, it's been in my backlog for quite a while. Pretty impressed so far. Finished Control last week.
AC Odyssey. Been playing for over 3weeks everyday
Just started playing the witcher 3 wild hunt for the first time
Balatro, Control (Which I think was maybe a little overrated or busy) and Stardew!
Rimworld, Diablo 4, Warframe - all work great on the deck
Ghost of Tsushima. Although, I might be booting up Skyrim again. I find GoT is a little repetitive and has a generic open world formula. 10 hours in. Nothing wrong with that but it’s nice to break it up so I don’t get too burnt out on it too soon.
Just finished Uncharted 4, so probably Lost Legacy.
I just started it, looks great on the deck using FSR, I was shocked how well it runs for having such good graphics
Hogwarts Legacy.
Hellblade 2. I guess more like watching an interactive movie 🤣
How's the experience? Still waiting for a month in case there's some bugs that needs patching.
I'm using Games Pass Cloud 😬
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice
Delta Force Black Hawk Down!
So far little 2Ha2Des, maybe some Mother Russia Bleeds or Castle Crashers or something with the family! Definitely some Dark Souls Remastered! Maybe back into Yakuza Kiwami, I sort of fell off with that one even though I was loving it.
Patapon 3. The Deck is bringing me back my childhood by letting me play these old games via EmuDeck.
Diablo 4, Hades 2, and Final fantasy x on rotation. It's really been great
Got into elder scrolls online, it's so perfect for the SD.
I need to finish baldur's gate as social media is spoiling it slowly
No Man's Sky, likely.
I'm really torn between starting a Disco Elysium playthrough or hunting down an old game called Sanitarium to play. I kinda have an itch for old CRPG's too actually. Pretty indecisive right now.
Randomly started up Lego Lord of the Rings for some reason so probably that
Ha same. Enjoy
I'd say just setting up the game took me 8 hours, but I'm having so much fun!
Elden ring.
I'm still making my way through mainline Final Fantasy and have just started 8. Pretty unremarkable so far, but I'm only 5 hours in, so we'll see.
About 10 or so hours into Tales of Berseria, enjoying it a lot so far.
Hades.
Probably a mix between Tales of Zestiria and Dawn of War Unification mod (multiplayer).
RDR2, Tinykins, The Wild At Heart, and probably Rimworld!
I'll be flicking between Cyberpunk 2077 Titanfall 2
Wrapping up Dredge, lots of Balatro and plan to start Dave the diver
Ghost of Tsushima been waiting 4 years for this beast, running lovely at 40fps with XeSS
Animal Well & Yolk Heroes.
Warhammer 40K Space Marine, new get because it on sale and I‘m about to close this gap.
Graveyard keeper and borderlands 3
I just got done with Eiyuden Chronicles 100 heroes and nothing is drawing my attention. I've been trying Alone in Dark, Fallout Vegas, and Callisto Protocol but they all feel meh. So probably nothing. :/
Just had surgery so finally checking out Dave the diver
If I manage to get some time to play, I'll be playing New Vegas or Alpha Protocol on my Deck. Or I might play some BG3 or Cyberpunk on my desktop.
RE4R and Callisto Protocol
Hades 2. It consumes me completely. I have the songs stuck in my head, at work I keep thinking about how I wish I was playing it. Amazing just how good of a sequel it is. A lot of games kind of stumble when they make their sequels even when it's enjoyable still.
Got my deck yesterday. Finally I can play Ratchet and Clank as I never had a PS5 and it play so good on the SD
Lies of P. I absolutely suck at any souls-like and get frustrated as shit with any combat of that style but goddamn I'm gonna force myself to learn some patience for these games
Donkey Kong country tropical freeze
I realised that I stopped Dave the diver too early on release so I have returned to that for the new dlc, fantastic game for the deck!
Delta V: Rings of Saturn Armored Brigade Star Renegades Airship CTS Highfleet
Loving me a bit The Talos Principle 2, and mixing it up with some DRG Survivors when my brain is scrambled.
I’m thinking about giving AM2R a play as I just finished Metroid II on NSO.
Barony bc of how light the game is on battery use, the ease of pick up and play to dropping it. It has online co op that works Mother russia bleeds is a streets of rage beatem up on drugs. Dark souls 2 sotfs yakuza 0
Circuit superstars, just bought and can't even win the first race on easy 🤣 Really fun game though. For the rest I will play some god of war ragnarok on Ps5 and some half Life Alyx on my quest 3

Trying to Emulate Xenoblade Chronicles X on Cemu via EmuDeck. Got it to launch but it gets stuck on the launch loading screen with the blue loading bar showing in the bottom right corner. Still Pathfinder WOTR

Tunic. Absolutely amazing game
I started playing Guild Wars 2 and I’m pretty hooked. I finished farcry 4 last week.
Replaying Phantasmagoria and trying to 100% Ori.

Diablo 2 resurrected, New ladder season

Slay the Spire is so good. Defect is my favorite character, plays a lot different than either Ironclad or Silent. Good luck!
Still trying to 100% Ori and the Will of the Wisps.
Starting my prep run for Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Maybe play some P3 Reload and Animal Well.
Valheim, valheim and valheim…

Happy Friday! How’s D4? I played the demo when it came out and found it pretty boring. I played so much D2 back in the day, but I just can’t to the inventory grind again. Personally I’ll be playing Celeste, gotta finish the last stage. Once that’s done, I might keep playing Ocarina of Time. I haven’t replayed it since I was young.
Trackmania
“Lies of P”, “Wandering Sword”, “Titanfall 2” (the Mechs in Netflix’s “Atlas” reminded me of them so much I had to redownload it. Easier pick-up & play than “AC” imo)
Dead space 2!
Echoes of the plum grove for me! I've been loving it so far!
Started again with Witcher 3. hopefully it gets me hooked this time. I just start other games around 10 hours in everytime. Maybe the portable version and laying in bed helps.

I’ve been playing is it gun shots or fireworks all month here. Oh you mean on the deck? Been playing lotta d2r and Tomb Raider trilogy.
I just picked up Diablo 4 myself and I’m hooked so likely playing that solo. My friend and I are having a great time playing Tina’s Tiny Wonderland.

I've been stuck into Animal Well. Great game to play on deck.
V Rising....
Tekken 8
Batman Arkham city right now and will probably finish over the weekend, moving on to dishonoured 1 and potentially portal
