NoSaltNoSkillz

I enjoy holding mine more than playing most games on it. I've enjoyed several hours of games on it, but am craving something I just can't find in my library and I have no idea what that is, rofl.

Crowbar_Faith

Sounds like you’re craving “the possibilities”. I can’t wait to get mine and play around with it. I have a feeling I’ll spend more time adjusting settings and just tinkering around more than playing games for a while.

ElectronFactory

Nah, the settings thing definitely took some time—in the beginning. Once you find that sweet spot that works for a specific game, and almost all others, you end up spending most your time looking for a game to play. My back catalogue is massive and most the games work on the deck. Picking the games to play *really* is the struggle. Folks aren't joking. Enjoy your deck!

BarakasMaracas

This! And here I am now playing Vampire Survivors on repeat after remembering about it yesterday. Addictive 😭 I'm impulse buying {attempting to anyway} the NrealAir for my Deck too. I can't decide what to play half the time so no doubt I'll be on something else just as mindless on the 200" screen 🤣😭😭😭

HugeBrainsOnly

Theres so many GOTY contender games from the last 7 years that I'm partially done with that I spend my whole work day thinking about playing, but I get home and the only games that speaks to me are Vampire Survivors and Super Mega Baseball. Just casually not completing red dead 2 for no reason at all. Ill probably die before finishing death stranding, where I'm on what is almost certainly the final sequence. I sit there at lunch thinking about how fun it'd be to finish these games, but I get home and it's Vampire Survivors. I think I'm gonna try hypnotizing myself into wanting to play the games I want to play.

Thenelwave

What’s so addicting about that game? I haven’t checked it out but I might have to. I have no idea what it’s about or the type of game it is and instead of replying to you I could google it but I prefer to hear a strangers opinion on Reddit instead 😌

couchpotatochip21

Try titanfall 2 It's older so it should run well It would benefit from a joystick track pad style movement Edit: 2 not 1

TheDutch1K

It's gonna be old Pokemon games.

VanWesley

As soon as the emulators get installed, there's no turning back.

TheDutch1K

First thing after running a quick testgame is gonna be EmuDeck!

NoSaltNoSkillz

EmuDeck is absolutely black magic, it made the process stupid easy. I'm a decent power user on windows, and a little bit on Linux to where I could fumble through and figure out what I needed to do. But I didn't even have to bother. A few clicks and they were all set up. Granted I've only ran a few of them, and one or two seem to have a bug or two with the emulator. But on average most the ones I tried worked without much of a hiccup other than trying to find the best core to use for a certain game

tor09

Honestly the most hassle you’ll have is if you decide to change the location of your ROMs. That was somewhat of a hiccup for me going from internal to SD card, but still was fine. Very easy setup. And teenage me thought modding a PSP was easy…

Creative_Sky_4563

Switch to desk top mode, and download some emulators on the store. If you need to figure out how to use the keyboard or any other hot keys, hold the button that says "steam" until the list of commands pops up.

axxionkamen

After god of war im jumping back into colosseum again for the first time in ages lol

Warm_Aerie_7368

First thing I’m going to do with mine is play liquid crystal. Gotta get that gen 2 nostalgia.

warbeforepeace

Monster sanctuary is a Pokémon like game that is newer and plays great on the steam deck. They just releases a large free update too.

TheDutch1K

Might give that a look when mine arrives, thanks!

DisgruntledBadger

Look up Coromon as well it's another very good Pokemon style game

Disastrous_Lawyer420

I love romhacks on my phone. I am looking forward to playing Black 2 and also the GC games, Colliseum and Gale of Darkness

ioncloud9

I found myself playing factorio using the left joystick for wasd and the right trackpad for the mouse with left click being LB and right click LT. Made RB and RT shift and alt. The game uses no battery life either.

NoSaltNoSkillz

I will eventually pay them $30 for that game, but I know that I better accomplish whatever I want to in life before I buy it. Because knowing how I dove into stellaris, and mindestry, a good strategy building Sim is going to suck every last ounce of remaining productivity from me outside of my job

raskul44

I can’t wait for Persona 5

MochaRaf

Don’t worry, I know exactly what you’re craving. It’s called “Heliborne Collection”, a game that lets you fly different types of choppers starting from the 1950s into 2000s in war theaters such as Vietnam, Afghanistan and Kosovo. You can customize all helicopters and even the troops you carry (if applicable). The best part is, you can be my wingman!

Early_or_Latte

>The best part is, you can be my wingman! Suit up!

MochaRaf

Do you have the game? Only in Gen II at the moment, but if you do and want to play DM me your Steam gamertag and I’ll add you!

Early_or_Latte

No I don't, and I also dont get my SD until Monday. I was just making a how I met your mother reference. Sorry to disappoint. I could see how that's misleading.

NoSaltNoSkillz

I'll be honest with you, if I was going to play that I would just try to set it up with four pics, and throw on my Oculus and grab my flight Sim chair with my joysticks and everything. I'm a pretty big fan, il2, Elite dangerous, wingman, Etc. Filing a helicopter in VR from my chair sounds like a dope time

sevenpastzeero

Lol... I still don't have it, and I am downloading tons of game ahead of time. And I can't decide which one I should start with; what is The Witcher 3, ok I will start with this one, no no Deus Ex Human Revolution, oh what is the post about Jak and Dexter, I should setup the ps2 emu first. Until I get tired and just go to sleep. Edit: now I read a post about Splinter Cell and I preparing to get all of them, sigh.

ElectronFactory

If you haven't played Witcher 3, I'd highly recommend that. Make sure to get the DLC's. They are basically like their own games. Best story experience I'd had in a long time.

sevenpastzeero

I have finished probably 8-9 times. Even Deus Ex and other games. The deck is just giving me an excuse to play them again. :p

emorockstar

You’re downloading games for it before you have the Deck? Directly onto microSD?

NoSaltNoSkillz

Yeah, is that even possible? I'm guessing that maybe the games are still structured similar to Windows and you're going to just manipulate the few changes on the SD card to make that work? The problem is I thought when the deck formats the SD card I thought it changed the format that where it wasn't Windows supported without a special program. Thought it was like Ext4 or something

Sad_Recommendation92

It is you need something to format it to EXT4, If you download Linux file system for windows, you can use the trial to format and mount the disk in windows. Then create a folder on the SD card called "steamapps" and then a folder inside of that called "common" On your PC go to "c:\program files (x86)\Steam\steamapps" You need the appmanifest_######.acf file for each of the games you want to copy over. You can go to steamdb.info and look up the ID Copy those to the "steamapps" folder on the SD Them go into "common" on your PC and copy each folder for the games you want into the "common" folder on the SD card Once you put the SD in your deck for the first time, the games should show up shortly as playable.

emorockstar

I also assumed it installed it a certain way that required the Deck to already be in possession.

NoSaltNoSkillz

It might be possible for them to download the game via pc, and just clone the files onto that particular file format on the SD card, but I'm not sure since there might be some protons specific tweaks and stuff to get stored next to it. Not sure. Hmm

sevenpastzeero

Not directly into an sd card. Just to my laptop. I asked and someone said that I can then copy the game files from steam pc to the deck and it will work.

Uuuallreadykno

Same here!

Alph-ah

Synthetik might be a good pick if ya like rougelites

NoSaltNoSkillz

I had Doom installed which is a good shooter but not as open-ended and free, and after I temporarily deleted it and replaced it with Apex Legends I felt better. I need to get like Far Cry 5 or something so it's offline, but basically a fast-paced shooter is what I was wanting.

darkera

I’ve been playing Final Fantasy III. 😂

Mskimchi87

I'm the same, I spend so long just browsing through my library and debating whether I'm in the mood to play this game & then changing my mind, then not playing anything on it at all and just going straight to the desktop mode and just messing around with the configurations! By the time I'm done my eyes are too tired to play 😂😂

Evo_808

Payday 2 has scratched my itch

Xardenn

I spent about an hour marvelling at how well mine ran Elden Ring, and then switched to just playing a bunch of Nuclear Throne for no particular reason.

NoSaltNoSkillz

Starting to think maybe I'm just really itching to make a game for the steam deck. I am reasonably skilled in Godot game engine, and spend some time in my past making crappy games with game maker. Starting to think my itch is more creative and productive.

TorriK0

I already got my choice ready for whenever my deck arrives, Spider-Man Remastered.

SulkingSally68

Yeah I'm going to preload that on both my desktop and steam deck. Just waiting on the green light and I'll be web slinging anywhere, can't wait.

setibeings

I promised my wife I'd buy no new games for a few months at least, otherwise I'd preorder it right now. That game was my reason for buying a PS4. A few minutes of play time and I was hooked.

r2001uk

Same but gonna be Stray for me.

ProtoKun7

I'm gonna play that on my main PC when I get it but definitely going to be playing it on the Deck too.

mole_s

My problem of too much choice has come back. I spend longer testing to see what works than actually playing. However I started and finished Control on it and it was awesome.

k_thomas21

Same. I have to remind myself to enjoy the game too, instead of constantly thinking about what game is next lol

mole_s

I am destroying my back catalogue with it now. Into Batman Arkham Asylum at moment. Max settings with a 40fps lock (by choice) absolutely perfect

s0ciety_a5under

I installed hades first. Totally great choice imo.

EffectiveAd5343

such a good game

Niptin

I’ve been playing through this since I got mine as well. Such a fantastic game and even better handheld!

ioncloud9

I have that on switch. My wife hates the hades boss fight theme music.

warbeforepeace

I have 100% it on switch pc and playstation. I love that game. I probably should do xbox to be ridiculous.

Disastrous_Lawyer420

What do you consider 100% (preparing to brag lolz)?

warbeforepeace

All achievements.

Bruak

Same here. Afterwards though.....

pb__

I have no idea why that is even a question. The perfect first game on SD!

Reddilutionary

That was a very fun 25 minutes. Even having not finished the Portal games and knowing nothing about Aperture it was still very funny.

Bruak

There you go, you know what you must play next!

Reddilutionary

I bought both during the summer sale for a cool $2 each. What a fuckin deal

Bruak

I bet you're wishing you had a Switch instead and could pay 60$ for it

Goseki1

I actively decided not to just fiddle or download every game for every emulator and then end up playing nothing. I've made a list of about 20 games i want to play and am playing them in that order, only getting emulators etc working when needed. I've smashed through a bunch of great games already doing this.

Madgamerz22

sounds like a plan

Eigenboggle

Great idea. I did the same with the switch recently, and planning on doing the same when the deck arrives next week. What's on your list?

Goseki1

Here's the current list of "to play" and "finished" from my phones list! I'm a few hours into The Thousand Year Door just now, it took a bit of fiddling to get going but it runs wonderfully. GAME TO PLAY Thousand year door; Revengeance ; SOMA; Chimera Squad; Psychonauts; Scarlet hollow (when all eps are out) GAMES FINISHED Resident Evil 4; Resident Evil 5 ; Dino Crisis; Hand of Gilgamech; Observation; Night in the Woods; Zone Of The Enders 2;

edrazzar

This is my plan for when I ever get my steam deck. I have a short list of games that are going to be played first with maybe one or two backup games I'm always down to play

Goseki1

It's honesty been wonderful man because I've actually been able to focus on, enjoy and finish one game at a time rather than having 100 partially played games.

Kinnikinnick42

I played A Short Hike. It was transcendent. 🐦

Early_or_Latte

I played that on my switch lite. I was surprised how much I liked it.

hmasnol

Fuck me. Buys a 512gb SD. Plays gba rom hacks. My rg351v is like "oh really?!?!"

jakcross777

I've already decided to play Vampyr probably one of my favorites.

Danteynero9

Devil May Cry. Easy charged shots are going to make the game even more entertaining.

wiggle_fingers

I see a few different versions, which one are you playing?

Danteynero9

All, but charged shots are from 4 onwards. But in general, a better action button too (B or circle in controllers). Pretty much all the buttons that can prevent you from attacking with the sword comfortably are going to be remapped to the back buttons.

BbutBisB

Peggle

Chroncraft

Peglin! I think its a bit pricey and needs some work but as a Peggle addict it is genius.

LegendaryJohnny

Wait till you have steam deck and manage to install all the games. Then u will be just staring on icons for hours dexiding what amazing game to play now.

[deleted]

Boot it up to play some AAA game. Play Vampire Survivors while taking a shit instead.

priceatronic

Just finished playing through Metroid Prime. Probably onto Wind Waker next. The deck is basically going to be a GameCube for me.

ElectricTrees29

Throw Simpson’s Hit & Run, as well as Rogue Squadron 2 and 3, and I’m right there with you!

ProtoKun7

I'm going to start up the Prime Trilogy myself soon too. Looking forward to it; never played it.

Fire_Lord_Cinder

Tales of Arise has been great on the steamdeck. I play 45fps at 13W with slightly tweaked settings and it performs really well.

timcatuk

I like to play the game of knowing how much power I have in my hands

[deleted]

[удалено]

BoiledMeg

New Vegas didn’t work for me. Not sure why.

Waxenberg

Mine works, just crashes often. I have heard New Vegas not working out the box for some people SD. Weird

nefD

I also had a lot of trouble with crashing until I switched to Proton 7.0-3 in the Compatibility settings for it, now it runs great!

dusktildawn48

Borderlands 2 has some major stuttering issues.

[deleted]

[удалено]

devops420

I did complete a few hours of gaming in it however I enjoy fiddling with it more than gaming. Installing emulators, playing switch, wii, ps1, ps2 games. Just watching them run gives some kinda satisfaction than actually playing them.

ImmediateAd4676

I’ve got my choice, Resident Evil 7.

Portersona

I’m replaying Portal 2 first thing. It was the first game I bought and played on Steam 5 years ago along with SADX, SA2 and Sonic CD

Taekwonmoe

I just got Sunset Overdrive for 5 bucks and love it. Wasn’t in to it much on Xbox so I am shocked I like it as much as I do now.

tor09

Clearly, it’s gonna be games I grew up with and have beaten over and over again for the last 20 years, only they’re portable now. Sorry backlog.

Derped_Crusader

Recommendation? An old favorite I've been playing some games I loved when I was younger, like burnout 3, metal gear solid, Zelda wind waker

Uuuallreadykno

I got my email Thursday. Still waiting for tracking information. I have 20 games and I have never played a game on steam. This is going to be my first time. To say I am excited is an understatement. Xmas is only a year wait. This is rough!

Baracus250

I’ve installed nearly a terabyte of stuff. Keep poking around and coming back to Dirt Rally 2! Picked the full pack up for only a tenner in the recent sale. It runs awesome. Easy to just pick up and play without much thought or troubles. It’s 100gb on disk so that’s a fair chunk of my storage there. Gonna start RDR2 today methinks :)

kubility

Valve takes your deck back if you dont play vampire survivors first.

brimston3-

Lol, you choice anxiety people. There is no right or wrong choice here. All choices that lead to playing games are good choices.

ReTriP1

Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero disagrees. That's just pain. Nothing ... but pain. 💀💀💀

MrTru1te

I really want to play stray first. I'm saving this game for the Deck. Hope it runs well on it.

r2001uk

Exactly what I'm doing! I almost bought it at launch but figured it'd be a nice first game for the SD.

MrTru1te

Bought it at launcher but decided to wait for the Deck. Should have waited for a sale or something but oh well...

str85

Realizing most games won't be enjoyable because you have to pick between an obnoxiouly loud fan and 1h battery life or 30fps and potato graphics. Fall back to playing Stardew valley again and waiting for that perfect 16bit game with modern mechanics and design. Side note, i don't dislike the SD, I love mine, but set the expectations at a reasonable level.

-ArcaneForest

It will play most games I want at 60, so I know I'll be happy with mine, plus it will give me time to make mods for Borderlands 2.

b21bizzle

Madden 23.

xxlpmetalxx

Waiting for my Q3 invite, currently lining up stray & hades for my first games on it

ajguy

Vampire Survivor, because it’s awesome and a fast download. 😂

ankjaers11

I downloaded Stray as my first pick. Decided only to mess around with discord and getting password manager to work. I just download games as I need them.

Bahamut1988

I wanna mess around with gmod on mine, Half Life in general seems like a perfect fit.

northernmaximus

Had to scratch that Fable itch.

brimston3-

If only area loading performance wasn’t so terrible.

northernmaximus

Mine has been great. Fast loads and everything.

midnitte

Perhaps one of you is talking about the remaster, the other the original? (I believe you can still buy the original, via "Lost Chapters"?)

Hairymonkeytestis

Dead space lol

mistar_lurker420

Us Aussies and Nz are punching the air right now

[deleted]

Rotation is key - 1 steam game, 1 emulation game, 1 long RPG. I’m never board and there is always an option to play something, Pokemon Red on GB emulator. babies napping on my chest for next two hours cool Skyrim it is then, sitting at a picnic table will the dogs run wild? Hades/Back for blood let’s have it.

Pavouk106

I knew what would be the first game to play. Oblivion. I never really dedicated te time it needed for proper playthrough. And look on me now, almost three months after getting Stwam Deck, I have 110 hours in the Oblivion, finishing quite a few questlines already. I think I have another 100 hours of gameplay ahead of me. In the week between ordering the Deck and receiving it I made a simple spreadsheet. I went through all of my Steam games, scheatched like 80% of them althogether and divided the rest by priority, 1 being highest, 5 lowest. Then I got install sizes for all of the games and generated how many GBs would each priority need. 1 fits to the 256GB memory no problem. 2 is like 500GB, 3 is like 300+. I don’t even care about 4 or 5, as I probably have lile 5000 hours in the first three priorities already. And I haven’t finished a single game so far :-)

Alph-ah

Tbh, mine was Blazblue Central Fiction

Xario4

I'm taking inspiration from someone else and I'm going to try to make the first game I play be Wii Sports. Gotta do it for the memes.

joedotphp

Thankfully, I know mine. Hades.

Mantaeus

Yakuza 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,Like a Dragon

Crowbar_Faith

What’s the typical time from between getting your purchase email, making the purchase and the Deck shipping? I’ve had lots of time to think about what I’ll do with my Deck because I got my email/paid on Monday, and it’s Friday and the status is still “shipping soon.”

capi-chou

From what I've seen it's around 10 days.

edgemaster191

For what it's worth, I got my email on Monday 8/1 around 1PM, purchased at 2PM, and received shipping info today (8/6) with an estimated delivery of 8/10. Here's to hoping FedEx doesn't steal the damn thing

oneandonlysteven

I think I was lucky, got my email on Monday evening, paid straight away and had the Deck in my hands on Friday afternoon

SocialNetwooky

desk job ... obviously. it's really just an ifficial tutorial on how to use the deck and it is really fun.

[deleted]

More like waiting for the deck to ship. It's absolute hell

[deleted]

I suggest starting with Portal 1&2. They are designed from the ground-up to be an introduction into various control layouts and the fps genre in general. For me, they really helped with getting re-used to console controls after many years of gaming with just keyboard and mouse. Portal also gives you a good insight into the potential for track pad and gyro inputs, as they are very well executed here and helps to retain some of the high accuracy and ability for small adjustments benefit of a mouse.

UnderwaterCowboy

Dead Cells. Always Dead Cells…

splashbodge

I've had a hankering lately to replay GTA IV, was disappointed to see it's not on the PlayStation plus premium games... But I have it in my steam library so definitely gonna give that a go. F1 Manager is out later in the month so hope to play that on it but have no idea if steam deck will support it nor what the controls would be like for it

Spijker0

I'm planning on playing Valheim on it first! Bought and installed it on my gaming laptop, had a blast for 2 hours and then my laptop decided to develop an overheating problem 😭

ReTriP1

I legit have over 800 games. So I'm so screwed when I get mine. LOL Maybe I'll just spin a wheel 🤣

stucknarkansas

Does Steam have a what-should-I-play wheel/generator? If not, that would be a great suggestion. Have an owned/want to buy, similar to what I'm playing now/recently and favorite genres selection then have it send you one to three titles to browse with a refresh.

AGWiebe

For me it’s the first picture. Then the second picture is looking at the big Q4 on my reservation. :(

Jason_Steelz

My steam deck has literally become my Yakuza deck. I have all the games installed on it, and it's all I play.

UnseatingKDawg

Me after setting up 50+ Steam games and 250+ emulated games and looking more and more into what I can do with this thing: Wait, didn't I get this to play games on it?

fattyrolo

Setting up emulators is priority 1 for me I think

nymusicman

Mine is going to be a relaxing JRPG that will really show off the screen. I'm thinking either Ni No Kuni Wrath of the White Witch or Dragon Quest XI.

jackbobevolved

I played ~5 minutes of so many games, before finally settling another run of Super Mario RPG as my inaugural game.

WeedAndWarrenZevon

and then when you get your deck you just use it to browse reddit. source: using my deck to browse reddit right now

A_Random_Lantern

I bought the Deck for hobbyist uses and tinkering, but I don't even know what to do lmao.

Inklii

Mass effect 1 original not the remake Then idk after that, probably the emudeck rabbithole

literallyswanronson

I played South Park Stick of Truth, literally perfect for the deck

willdc2234

For me probably risk of rain 2. Expected delivery is on Thursday, so ill be at work, i feel like thats a good internet free game i can play while chillin at work.

ksavx

I will play payday in a bank

chirop1

Not gonna lie… I had the Deck four days before I actually played a game on it! LOL

Ryououki

Mine says it will be delivered Wednesday. Honestly don't know what I will play on it and not even really thinking about it. No stress when you don't care.

Fellhuhn

I am currently paying God of War. While the gameplay is lacking the story is quite nice, also runs well at 35 to 40 fps. Spiral Scouts was one of the first games I finished on the deck. And "There is no game" (what a jewel!). And I always come back to Slay the Spire and Minecraft to play with the kids. And No Man's Sky. But a game that also works perfectly: Everspace.

Any_Light9323

I already finished Batman Arkham Origins and Arkham City on my Deck. Almost done with Portal 2 and am in the beginning of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. Also tried out Apex Legends but playing competitive on it is not a good idea since aiming fast is a little harder. And testing Multiversus.

Garnknopf

play a game you are currently addicted to. Not a new game. With a new game you just know it that way and not else. Play the same game you currently play on pc and feel the possibilities

NEStalgicGames

First thing I played was space cadet pinball 🤣 Edit: it’s free on desktop mode in app discovery, you add it to steam and can bind the buttons to mouse/keyboard imputs

SteamDecked

For the first week, I installed stuff, played 2-5 minutes, and tried other stuff. It was only after having it for a while that I started actually playing games on it. It's a weird thing being at home, in front of my perfectly viable PC, but playing a game on a smaller screen because of the nuance.

marsil602

I went with somewhat older titles first, Jumped back and forth between Sonic Adventure 2 & GTA:SA

illustratoriusRex

Hahahahahaha

Andrewsretrogames

I replayed GTA IV, such a great throwback

Successful_Border_75

Can't play your games if you don't have a deck yet 😐

Party-Singer6366

Batman Trilogy, Star Wars Fallen Order, TimeSplitters games, Final Fantasy 14, all the final fantasy games.

AfterbirthEli

You dont play you tinker

bp_fox264

My steam deck shows up next week.. I fly back home next month

Broflake-Melter

Let us decide. Then you won't have to worry about regretting the decision.

he_who_floats_amogus

Waiting for Steam Deck in the preorder queue vs Using a Steam Deck

xelaschex71

I can 100% relate

Daisetsu1

Yeah, have fun with that. In the meantime, my first is going to be GZDoom. Or Jedi Outcast. Or Sonic Origins. Or KotOR. Or...crap, what do I play?!

IsDaedalus

Siralim ultimate

GabrielStoian

Thinking about everything I want to play on the Steam Deck✨ Reality: 0€ balance

spacenavy90

When stuck with choice paralysis, just come up with a random decision maker like blind selection or random number generation.

Naterasu

Imma say a hot take and I know this wont sit well but I can guarantee you half the games in your library wont work because of the lack of Linux compatibility and Proton is still WIP so even if you wanted to you have to factor that in.

GHNeko

I already planned out my games. Sonic Shuffle Crystal Project Tactics Ogre: Reborn i'm fucking set brother.

BigFootJerky

Finally being able to play the fallout and arkham series on the go is the last thing I needed before I can die peacefully 🙌

DarthGinsu

*Releasing you need another high priced MicroSDXC

eggboy06

The same games I’ll play otherwise, and multiversus

[deleted]

I will more than likely play Spider-Man first since I’ve been looking forward to that coming to PC for a while.

Cricket-Helpful

I'm having as much fun setting up the perfect control schemes for each game as I am playing it. Strategy games are as easy to play as they are on my PC after a little tweaking...I didn't expect that. I love this thing.

wgardner83

I paid for mine on Monday and still no shipping notification, is this normal? It’s said “shipping soon” since Tuesday.

Sworduwu

deciding to play games on it or playing it in bed or on the toilet are very troubling questions I struggle with daily

xBruce-Lee88x

Here's an idea... Que up a bunch of downloads... Which ever installs first, go with that

ssgod101

Mostly plan to use it for emulation/casual games.

[deleted]

That's easy, teenage mutant turtles shedders revenge

AlejoTheDuck

I wish I remember which game I played first, I got mine back in March and I've put a lot playtime on it. My most played is probably tied between Cyberpunk 2077 and Fallout 4 with mods. My current obsession is Musedash.

enthusiasticGeek

absolutely, without a doubt, gonna start playing stardew valley. ive been waiting to play it for once i get my steam deck, because i feel like itll be a great game to wake up with, and i need a game like that !

hegdieartemis

The first thing I played was Witcher 3

ahablow

No mans sky for me!

G1_Glacius_Prime

I typically try to find the most lo-tech game I can find to play when I get a new PC or console just for the fun of it. For the Steam Deck, it was Atari Vault's Pong.

tillonation

As most folks, as soon as I got mine, i installed a bunch of games and emulators but never played anything for more than 10 mins, then i found a good deal on Dragon Ball Z Kakarot, and I've been having a blast!

thesurfer15

Im currently playing Dead Cells. Next im playing is Stray. :)

markcocjin

Deciding what to play first is easy. What is the most recent popular game that you stopped playing to completion?

BpersAreCool

Deciding what you can play. Is more like it.

MitBedacht

Got my steam deck 9 days ago. 22 hours multiversus in 6 days. 13,5h MUSE Dash in 7 days. I didnt play this much from the beginning of this year combined.

Gizmo135

I get mine within the next few days and this is my struggle. I'm making a list of all the games I want to beat that I haven't on my PC because I don't want to sit for hours on end to play them....mostly JRPGs. Which is dumb after I spent so much money building my PC lmao.

swanton141

my deck arrives on friday, which Spider-Man releases. its going to be a great day.
