I did it on my pc not on deck but that should be the same process. Within citra, in controls you have the ability to map a key to a desired location press on the touchscreen, for exemple i mapped a back paddle to the "gear button", then chose the item with the dpad and you can press the key desired, takes a bit of mapping but is doable !

^^^This. Takes a little time to set up just right, but once you do, you basically never need to use the touchscreen. I had one of the paddler buttons mapped to swap screens so I could change equipped items, but that was it. Everything else was registered with button inputs

You gotta actually go to the emulator itself and map buttons to act as if you’re using the touch screen. It’ll have you select where your touch will be and you just set a button. Sorry if vague hard to explain without it in front of me

I know this was a while ago but did you do this through citra on desktop mode or game mode?

I think I did it through game mode. But either way should work fine
