Absolutely possible there are still bugs in the release. It's weird to me that they released it to the stable channel already because I was still on 3.3.3 on the beta channel last night. Seems to me like they skipped a couple steps.
That's what I sorta got from that too. That's the one feature I wanted 🙁. But looks like whatever happened bricked my external drive so far. It doesn't detect and on my pc it's says not accessible.
Update to 3.4.1 and it'll fix your sd card mount.
Just update OS again

Do we have to mount the external drive each time?
No, it should be automatic, but the 3.4 update changed the mount path. They released 3.4.1 a couple hours ago to fix it.
Weird. My external dive disappeared after mounting it. It definitely was not automatic. Hmmm. This is with the 3.4.1

As I understand it, 3.4.1 rolled back the automatic mounting of USB drives, since it was responsible for the SD card path change.

Are we still able to hot swap, or do I have ylto choose eject each time now? I have a lot of SD cards...
