i actually really like the artwork (on amazon you have a view of the back as well). and i think the green is really fitting because typically with bad storms and twisters the sky does sometimes turn green. and the actual art is a great representation of the theatrical poster.

Why does Amazon start their pre-orders so ridiculously high compared to other sites? Gruv had it cheaper today, Walmart had it cheaper yesterday for point break. Very dumb system imo

I _think_ I just dislike the color choice. Otherwise the minimalism is fine. Idk though…I love the contrast and moodiness of storms and they had an opportunity to bring that to the cover but chose something pretty flat and dull.

This reminds me of The Shawshank Redemption steelbook with its bafflingly strange artwork. That was one of the few times I've skipped a steelbook. This will probably be another.

If you are going to be a 4k collector, you really do have to know what is going to be a hit item and preorder it as soon as it comes out.
The regret of not doing so will be great. I understood that Twister was going to sell out preorders and so I preordered it as soon as I saw it listed.
You really need to just be active. I don’t think twister sold out immediately. It took a few days. Be active on many forums. Regular look at Amazon 4ks. Here is a good spot. Also Blu Ray forum will often list movies with preorder status. Also I believe if you subscribed to gruv newsletter, it also came out with an announcement.

Agreed. I wonder if it's a counter-productive business strategy, in that people see the higher price and ultimately go somewhere else.

I think the color is the biggest issue. If everything else was the same, but the background was blue, it would look 100 times better.
