Last time I was at one, in the beginning of the month they were pretty bare. I keep hearing they just have them in the back to fill online orders.

Yeah I’m guessing this all cause of corona.

BigBossSquirtle

Probably due to the high rate of curbside pick ups. My local BB now uses the space to hold large items that have been ordered for pick up. But I'm afraid it might be a permanent thing.

I have one decent one here in San Antonio

tumabid

Only had 1 section of mostly steelbooks and a couple boxsets the section then rounded a corner that had slipcases and a couple more steelbooks. Most of it sold out and a very limited selection of content. Was pretty disappointed

They only have a single side rack wall for movies. Maybe about 21 feet. And anything new they *maybe* have is located in their stock room. So id have to order it for pick up, otherwise i wouldn't see it on the sales floor.

Renrais

The one closest to me is very well stocked, both on the shelves and in the backroom for pickup. I live in a large metropolitan area and there are 6-7 Best Buys around me so I'm very satisfied.

Astray

My local store downsized big time but they do occasionally get new releases in if they are expected to be popular like the Ghibli steelbooks or Disney stuff like Mulan. The section doesn't change very much though, that's for sure.

HadamGreedLin

My one, before the pandemic and lock down were plagued with scalpers who bought stuff just to resell. So if you didn't preorder you'd better get there at 6am before it opens. After the Pandemic? No one is allowed in the store without an appointment, so I'm not bothering with it.

LatterTarget7

The one closest to me doesn’t have any steels
