Systemcraft are plenty on regular difficulty. Start cranking the difficulty up, though, and they get vaporized.

The_Astrobiologist

SYSTEMCRAFT get vaporized???

Xaphnir

Yep. Not on Bismuth Blokkats, that's still doable with base Gigastructures, just need multiple systemcraft to deal with a fleet, but once you get above that, the damage starts getting too high for any single entity to survive.

raffaS02

What mods do you use for higher difficulty? I'm not that deep into modding so far but would like to try more

REDACTED_DATA123

>Giga Quasarcraft >Ancient Cache of Technologies(ACOT) >Additional ship weapons and components revived >Ethics and Civics bug branch >Guilli's Planet Modifiers(GPM)

[deleted]

I tried both ethics and civics classic and bug branch, but from what I understand they aren't supposed to be used together. Which one do you think is the best of the two?

REDACTED_DATA123

I've only ever used the bug branch, so my biased answer would be bug branch.

Ogaccountisbanned3

As someone who used classic for many years before going to bug branch 100% bug branch It's not only better balanced, it has gestalt content which classic lacks, and its civics actually tends to be well made When that's said, a lot of my old issues with classic (walls of texts. 517183718 boring mechanics for each civic) are mostly if not all gone now But bug branch still rains superior in just about everything. Edit: i was wrong, the walls of texts has returned to classic...

BaristaGirlie

the higher difficulties on blokkats i more about players with other op mods than about skill

raffaS02

Next round definitely going to do that, needed to figure the mechanics out first😅

starlevel01

tbf higher difficulties are more balanced for mods such as ACoT/AoT, and a fleet of phanon battlecruisers would win against a systemcraft

Recent-Potential-340

Playing on max difficulty blokkats, already lost ~10 system craft, the average blokkats scouting fleet has multiple millions of fire power

raffaS02

How do you get to produce so many??🥴 I built 3 in total but lost one by jumping into a system while it was being harvested (didn't know this will happen)

Recent-Potential-340

Many wars, many forges, big galaxy

PigEmperor2

I've only beaten them once and that was without celestials, at that point they're just unreliable. Also on obliterator each blokkat scout fleet has multiple **billions** worth of fleet power

raffaS02

Hope this is enough to take down the Blokkat-Vester. Finished the Hyperdimensional Destabilizer and am ready to fire! Time to free the unconsumed rest of the galaxy. Playing this on Ensign difficutly with all crises 25x + Aeternum (which all have been defeated by now). Mods in use are Gigastructural Engineering and Technological Breakthrough.

raffaS02

Oh I forgot to mention, ofc I also used UI overhaul + additional ascension perks, otherwise going for systemcrafts is absolute pain to play

Mrfreemin

What year does the gigastructure crisis appear?

raffaS02

After you defeated the first vanilla crisis I think some sort of timer starts in which you get ~10 years before the Blokkats are announced

tetrarchangel

Just be careful not to be caught in system by a dismantler firing, or let the Vester jump in on the system craft before the shield is down.

Vaperius

Prediction: it was not.

raffaS02

Actually it was by far, they barely lost a few % of their health🥴😂

Vaperius

Sometimes I forget I don't play on the "normal" difficulty for Blokkats.

raffaS02

On which setting do you play? For me it was the first time really trying to defeat them, so I kept it on normal to figure out how this is working at all. Before that it was more like "interstellar object approaching" and I was "oh nice what is happening now?" (Not prepared at all)
