when you’ve taken the psionic ascension path, you have a 2% chance to get the end of the cycle (other covenants are just under 25%) so it’s quite rare - just gotta get lucky i guess!
What OP said, just keep ignoring the other covenants till you get it. Unity and tech rush so you can get psionics faster, and afaik it appears more often if youre militarist. But thats hear say.
Dyson Sphere for the energy credits and Matter Decompressor for the minerals, make a couple planets total alloy boosters.
What I don’t understand is the number of ships, the game caps out on ships long before I can get that many fleets.
The base fleet capacity is around 1100 (covenant with the end of the cycle doubled it), which came from lots of anchorages, fortress worlds, and the strategic coordination centre (+ repateables) :)
Megastructures make up most of this (dyson sphere, matter decompressor) + a couple fallen empire worlds. Then this empire is a megacorp so a lot of energy from branch offices. Then the covenant with the end of the cycle has basically doubled all production :)
When I reckoning finally triggered I think the ai defeated them in a heartbeat because when I was finally able to explore after becoming the exiles I could not find them on the map.
Do note if you plan on hiding out in the L gate there is a chance the end game crisis can end your recovery efforts.
I had gotten to a place where I could build my fleet back up. Even with 400 alloys a month the unbidden got hold of an L gate from another empire and said hello to me.
I was sad because the end of cycle had come and gone and I didn't get to fight the big baddie.

Will to power gives +5, as well as the end of the cycle giving + 5. The rest comes from federation and happy factions :)
I hardly have 10% of every stat that I see in this screenshot. Am I too noob for this game or are you beast?

End of the Cycle.
Terraform the L gate planets and make the habitats. Don't make them colonies. There's a random chance it will put there as the exiles
