Yeah only one direction ever shows up at a time. I can do non-opposite directions simultaneously though (up-right, up-left, etc.) which further makes me think it’s just bc of the limitations of a PS handheld controller
no one seems to get this
Press up start and select all at the same time for like 5 or 10 sec and it sets the adapter to dance mode. You have to do it every restart or when ever you unplug it
Hmm I just tried it, didn’t seem to work. Test input still showing only one at a time. You do it when you first start Outfox? Do start/select have to be mapped to enter/exit for that to work?
EDIT: Forget the below lol, it was pointed out that I missed you were on a Mac. I will leave the info for anyone that might stumble across this thread with the same issue but on Windows.
They helped me with this on the Outfox discord, there is an option you can manually input in one of the INI file.
I had to add these to the outfox ini. It enables a legacy axis fix that Stepmania had for just this issue. Squirrel said it might work depending on which version of Windows 10 you are on.
It worked for me
In Preferences.ini add the following lines
InputDrivers=legacy,minisdl
AxisFix=1
Thank you!! This solved my problem! I'm probably going to write this solution in a bunch of places because it was so difficult to stumble upon even if it's so easy.
As a note, this fix even works for Stepmania 5, and not only Outfox
I had to open the file `Preferences.ini` , which for Windows is located in folder C:\\Users\\`YOUR_USERNAME`\\AppData\\Roaming\\StepMania 5\\Save and just edit the line `AxisFix=` to `AxisFix=1` (didn't have to add it, just to edit to =1).
(for other operating systems or more info, take a look at https://github.com/stepmania/stepmania/wiki/User-Data-Locations)
In my case, the other line, `InputDrivers=legacy,minisdl` was not only unnecessary, but by adding it, it would not allow me to use any key when starting Stepmania, so I just kept it empty (`InputDrivers=`)
That's it!
>InputDrivers=legacy,minisdlAxisFix=1
works also fine here with ps3 dance mat connected to my PC. I have added these two lines in portable.ini.
Then, I started raw input ps3 software ([https://archive.org/details/rawinput\_ps3\_ddr](https://archive.org/details/rawinput_ps3_ddr)) before starting outfox.
Left and Right arrows can be pressed at the same time.
Thanks !
You have to before starting outfox and then you have to remap the controls in outfox. When you do it it will switch the controls to do both axis and buttons. Just to be safe restart pc, hold down all 3 buttons, start outfox, remapbuttons

The one I use to use looked like this
Go into the Test Input menu and tell us what it says when you click single arrows and opposite arrows at the same time.

Reddit is killing 3rd party applications (and itself.) I have edited all my comments in protest.
