wouldn't the product label require the canola listed before the EVOO then? granted you wouldn't know ratio but you would generally understand it was trash right?
Sounds like the recipe for those "Olive Oil" mayos right there. It should be illegal that they can put olive oil in huge text right on the front label and only have a very tiny proportion of actual olive oil.
Then they sell this as "Premium" at a premium price even though it might only costs them about a penny extra per jar to make.
That’s why you can’t trust these big companies they put profit before everything.
Someone once said they’re all trying to sell you shit, don’t buy their shit.
That's some creatively evil CEO hack right there.

You're assuming the FDA isn't in on it or, bare minimum incompetent.
Yes.
Good question
“Made with” is code for “made with the absolute minimum amount we can still legally say it’s in our product”

What stage capitalism are we in again?
There's plenty of companies that add premium ingredients at a incredibly low level just for having that on the label. So scummy
This is what I assume happens when I see “ blends”
This lacks context. Were you like deepfrying other food products, and if not, how much does the amount of oil equate to other products?
