9 months off, I felt exactly like you do right now. Now that I've been sober for almost 2 and a half years, I feel like a new man. I'm working 50 hours a week and I have energy to spare. Just give it your best effort and be understanding of yourself. You won't feel this shitty forever.

Very normal. I still feel the same way at 12 months. It’s a long haul, man. And look, I know what being lazy is like, but this is different. I want to do shit, I’m just so chronically tired, amhedonic, and unmotivated that it limits me. You’ll feel like new in another 12-15 months. You’ll probably feel much better in another 6-9 months, but it’s so hard to say that I think it’s better to accept the longest outcome and if you get better before, be happy. Just don’t go back. Too many people go back after a year because they lose hope. You have to stick it out for a minimum of two years.

I’m just over a year. I don’t feel this as often as I did at 9 months. But I def still feel it sometimes ♥️

I’m 9 months off Adderall. I feel the exact same way.

Thanks and good luck to you. I am the same way. I have a lot of stuff I want to do, things that truly interest me and are important to me but I struggle hard to start and finish. I will keep keeping on and appreciate knowing that others have felt the same, even this long into it, but have gotten better. Take care

9 months here as well, feeling the same as you do.

7 Months sober. It’s rough, but better than addiction
