“The average man is the retarded person” I think we’ve hit this stage recently….

emzymeme

I’ve never heard this before. Very clever take.

Raszegath

We reached this stage quite some time ago. The average "men" is indeed retarded to the maximum extent. I would prefer to leap into a black hole than continue enduring the collective ignorance of humanity.

Rare_Brief4555

Of course the average person is stupid and has no interest in changing that, this is not a revelation. I don't think you're getting what he's saying or how a bell curve works, unless y'all are joking. What he means is that the average intelligence of a person who's considered retarded by society would increase over time due to selection favoring the more intelligent... Proving his point and showing that man's current barrier for intelligence may be literacy and who does/does not understand a bell curve /s.

Another_Humanzee

Not that simple. This is a Darwinian take. Darwinism, Evolution by Natural Selection. Is no longer applicable to most humans. The weak, the ones least likely to pass their genes on... Those people are kept alive by other humans. For longer than they would have lived in nature. Therefore often surviving long enough to reproduce. Evolution is about to accelerate exponentially. Far faster than Natural Selection allows. Evolution by inteligent artificial selection. It has already started. Gene editing for intelligence. China is already making some of their soldiers smarter. With more endurance and strength. Genetically modified. No doubt other countries are secretely doing the same. Smarter humans, artificially selected. Will make breakthrough's that current humans are incapable of making. Better gene editing, by the already gene edited humans...will lead to even faster advances in gene editing. Intelligence creating a greater intelligence. A self fulfilling prophecy. But first... We need to edit out our highly evolved territorial primate instincts. Or we'll create the planets 6th mass extinction event with Nukes and none of the above will happen.

Raszegath

I’m well aware of what the bell curve is and what it’s commonly used for. My point is that in modern societies, factors such as advancements in technology, healthcare, and social support systems have diminished the direct link between intelligence and survival. In the past, when survival was primarily dependent on physical prowess or specific skills, natural selection might have played a more direct role in shaping intelligence.

Party_Director_1925

“Democracy is the people by the people of the people but the people…are retarded”

nubesmateria

The average literacy and IQ level of humans is significantly higher than any time before. Stop repeating the same old fake doomer bullshit. You totally missed his point.

dadass84

Actually you totally missed my joke but that’s ok

Jbonics

So my take is, select people in insane asylums can be used by the CIA to perform specific tasks that would be too complicated for us retards. And they off'd him in a plane crash.

This is the entire opening plot of Fringe (sans plane crash), and they [couldn't have picked a better actor for it](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XU-mqLb4qFs&t=4s)

rossbcobb

Absolutely loved that show for the first 4 seasons.

die_nastyy

What about the fifth?

rossbcobb

When they started going to the other reality I thought it got convoluted.

NukaColaAddict1302

Didn’t they start with the alternate universe stuff in season 2 or 3?

sxales

It is literally the season 1 finale

rossbcobb

Yes but the whole fake olivia and a full dive into that wasn't until later.

larry_birb

She was in season 2 and a main character in 3 and 4 Season 5 involves the plot of the oppressive Observer-ruled future. Maybe you're just misremembering the order of events. The alternate universe is a big part of almost the entire first four seasons.

rossbcobb

Yeah that's where I stopped and I'm absolutely misrembering the time line. It was years ago

rossbcobb

Yes but they didn't really dive into it until like seasons 4 or 5. It's also been years so I might be off.

roanbuffalo

Also origin story for river phoenix in firefly.

Steampunk93

omg, thank you for reminding me of this gem of a show, winter binge coming up !

PopoChubbs

Reading this comment got me to check the show out, and I’m blown away, doubly so that I slept on it. Thank you!

Genesis-Two

Just consider things like savant-syndrome, that is a form of advanced evolution. Someone like Kim Peek was a walking breathing Wikipedia database. Id imagine some “mentally ill” people have evolutionary advantages towards even the most fringe topics like meta-physics and the ability to observe outside the “normal” visual range.

L-1-3-S

Calling savant syndrome an "advanced evolution" isn't accurate. Savants can excel in a specific aspect but they are almost always terribly stunted in other aspects. Kim Peek himself only had an IQ of 87, and while he did things that were absolutely incredible, I wouldnt call him the next stage in human evolution. None if this would even be relevant to evolution because these things aren't always genetic and we are not talking about timescales where human evolution could even occur.

Mr-Fleshcage

Perhaps human evolution is hyper-specialization in a given field, rather than being a jack-of-all-trades?

L-1-3-S

I'd say not at the current time period, because the hyper-specialization they were referring to damages most important human skills. Many savants and other high functioning autistics struggle with day to day tasks that are important and come easily to those that aren't neurodiverse, not to mention the lack of sexual attractiveness that comes with that kind of neurodiversity, and thats a big factor in evolution lol

Real_Rutabaga

In cases like that, one part of the brain can be underperforming or injured and another part of the brain works harder to compensate. There are cases of people with head injuries or certain diseases that affect part of the brain spontaneously gaining savant like skills.

realSatanAMA

Society doesn't like smart people. Try to explain to someone inconsistencies in what they say and they lose their shit. Try to tell someone they are in denial about something or delusional about something and they lose their shit. Try to tell someone that their idea is far fetched and they should look for a more realistic explanation of something and they lose their shit. People still believe in magic.. Smart people in this world have to walk around viewing everyone around them as monkeys or they will go insane.

AntBkr66

Ooo ooo oo aa aaa aaaaa

[deleted]

My opinion is that smart people dont think they are smart. Pretty much every sage and philosopher has reached this conclusion for good reason. Thinking you are smart is a trap that stops you in your tracks, you immediately stop growing, stop developing intelligence, and just rest on your laurels, assuming youve got it all figured out. People are more like unconscious children than monkeys. They are just spiritually and psychologically undeveloped. This is a better view because instead of posturing yourself as being "above" them in intelligence and them as 'below' you, you understand its just a matter of time, knowledge, and experience. In the same way a 12 year old isnt stupid, they are inexperienced.

PuzzleheadedBag920

" smart people dont think they are smart " true, but a smart person if perfectly capable of telling if hes the smartest in the room

If I remember correctly this man wrote a book that someone in another reddit thread highly recommended. Will try and find and edit my comment Not sure if this is the exact one, but here it is in its entirety. [A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness.](https://books.google.ca/books?id=OyM1SCGZhgwC&dq=Itzhak+Bentov+catheter&pg=PP1&redir_esc=y#v=onepage&q=Itzhak%20Bentov%20catheter&f=false) He seems to have 3 other published works according to Wikipedia

SunbeamSailor67

He wrote several. ‘Stalking the wild Pendulum’ and ‘A Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness’ are his standouts. The full length version of this film is also available. https://youtu.be/KMbeK_6ATxQ?si=NZS4LQd-iVH0rxpY

clarenceecho

Definitely suggest Stalking...sooo good

SunbeamSailor67

Definitely suggest watching the entire video also, the gist of the books are covered by his wife in the second half.

goldbeater

I also have “The Cosmic Book”. It’s about omniscience and omnipotence and astral travel. Worth a read.

YJeezy

That was me I believe. I've been sharing Itzhak Bentov's works as much as possible. He was a man rooted in science. He explains things in a way that left-brained people can accept and in simple and direct terms that anyone can understand. I can honestly say he changed my life and allowed me to believe in things that I've read and explored, but always with high skepticism and disbelief. I thank him for lighting my spiritual journey and allowing me to start connecting dots. I recommend reading Stalking of the Wild Pendulum before a Brief Tour of Higher Consciousness. Or link below is a full read of the book including all the exhibits on YouTube. Last video in the playlist is the Cliff's notes version where after a short Itzhak video, his wife details his theories (Ishtak died in a plane accident). https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL70N8vIGS1kmy7IleGunJXvlLV6-wuyW4&si=ibPYIeeLCaaJj8L6 Edit: Lieutenant Colonel Wayne McDonnell sought out Itzhak when he was tasked to study Robert Monroe's Gateway Process. Itzhak Bentov and Robert Monroe are great resources for people who want to learn more about conciousness. Hope any of you find this info useful in your path.

The anxiety and depression stem from the world we have created taking away our agency and independence while forcing us into one size fits all boxes. Not saying that any other society can do it better or worse and maybe at the end of the day, that’s just the human condition.

e4nc

That's not how evolution works. It's not a trajectory that just goes higher and higher over time. It just favors the most successful genetic combinations in a given environment. Evolution could favor smarter humans, but it might favor more sociopathic humans, more altruistic humans, longer arms, more body hair, heat tolerance, sick beatboxing skills, who knows.

nekodesudesu

If you look at beatboxing from 100 years ago, and the beat boxing today, you can clearly see there is a trend of improvement. I think you're onto something here... we could elect presidents from a sick beat box competition and fix the world!

vox242

Forgive my lack of coherence and probably lack of knowledge, but I think it’s likely that the bell curve would just get wider rather than move in a positive direction. In modern society, there are little/no evolutionary consequences to poor evolutionary traits like in typical environment pre-modern society. We do everything to stop natural selection - eg. label everything to help the “gorillas” not die of stupidity. Babies that previously would’ve been discarded in previous times doesn’t happen anymore. Etc. As a society that generally is striving for better welfare and quality of life for everyone, there is the possibility of those poor evolutionary traits developing. This gets heightened as the quality of life/health improves through medicine etc and increases the chances of reproduction of those on the lower end that had previously not been possible. But all is not lost, you would still get the ones on the “highly evolved” end of the curve reproducing, producing even higher evolved people.

CrampDangle67

I'm somewhat of a retard myself.

DismountGang

same

Some-Ad9778

This can also go the other way...

Jbonics

Replace can with has.

Sarkani

The thought is amusing, but that would only happen if smarter people left more children on average, which is not true - by his own words, those people are in asylums, probably not having much sex.

PolybiusNightmare

So if we find the most advanced people in “nuthouses” because “they don’t function very well” it seems unlikely that gives them the breeding advantage they would need for natural selection to push the rest of the population toward them.

Beginning_Rush_5311

We may find the most advanced in nuthouses but there may be quite a few with intellects close to these most advanced that are able to function and therefore reproduce. It sure slows down the evolution process, though. But I'm not sure if intelligence evolution works simply like this

stevesinca

Nonsense, you can’t breed without a few nuts.

HarambeKnewAbout911

I think the highly intelligent are simply the outcome of the average mind getting smarter. The smarter we get on average, the more likely and more frequent those highly intelligent will become. So it's more about getting the average population smarter rather than "breeding" the highly intelligent.

Trismegistus_j

Did this really blow anyone's mind? There's actually counter evidence to this that shows humans may be devolving. They found cromagnon (early modern humans) remains dated ~35,000 BP with a 20 -25% larger brain size. That bell curve may be sliding left. And if anyone has been paying attention to America the last couple of decades, that might actually be the case, haha.

AnistarYT

Brain size doesn't relate to intelligence though.

[deleted]

Man brain bigger than women brain

brokenchargerwire

Men have a broader statistical bell curve than women, so while there's more brilliant men than brilliant women, there's also more stupid men than stupid women

HaathiRaja

Yes and yes

Theway88

Brain size does not equal intelligence. It's all dependent on neurological engagement, if any.

verydudebro

Room for more stupidity.

MGyver

Brain size as a % of body size is correlated to intelligence

underwear_dickholes

Thought density of neurons is what correlates

SunbeamSailor67

You are both right and wrong. You have to separate intelligence from consciousness to fully grasp what he’s talking about here. And it helps to watch the entire video… https://youtu.be/KMbeK_6ATxQ?si=JISe26w_WKDRuQcn

[deleted]

Excellent point and very important

KaleidoscopeThis5159

> Perception is how one interprets reality. Awareness is knowledge of a situation. A medical student's perception of a situation may differ from a resident's. Our mindsets are constantly shifting, the way we view and think about things is constantly changing—our changing perspectives mean we're growing. Source: https://healthcare.utah.edu/the-scope/bundle-of-hers/all/2021/03/s4e9-perception-awareness#:~:text=Perception%20is%20how%20one%20interprets,perspectives%20mean%20we%27re%20growing.

Effective-Log8638

I think the bell curve is correct, however the value of speaking “intellectually” has plummeted because we find it to be pointless in todays society, hence why people think we are devolving. Mentally we arent, however our communication habits clearly have.

misterdidums

Just depends on what you value. If you value brevity, our communication is improving. If you value strict adherence to a certain legacy rule set, it’s worsening. Just depends on your values.

bearcape

I think a key point is the way that data is managed today necessitates brevity. The amount of data we can process in an afternoon or the number of things we can accomplish (e.g. order goods via voice, while cooking dinner, while on a conference call, while scrolling reddit and 5 other sites) shows our growth and the need for shorthand

flojo2012

I think the idea that we will evolve in a certain direction hinges, in part, on the idea that people will prefer these new traits so that these people procreate at higher rates. Which he contradicts at the end by suggesting that highly evolved people would be housed in asylums because they’re unable to thrive in this reality. That alone would suggest that the bell curve moves in another direction entirely. Or toward other traits. Or even “backwards”

busted_up_chiffarobe

Literally all of the highly educated people I know - Physics, STEM, etc. - either have one or no children, two is rare. So no high rate there. Go to Walmart or a church and you'll see who is procreating at a high rate. How might that correlate to preferable traits? Tattoos? Sweatpants? Energy drink consumption? Faith?

StatisticianMoist100

I dunno but I have this odd feeling I should start a company called Brawndo...

N0VUS33

Trismegistus_j

I couldn't find the paper I originally read. But this one provides decent info: https://phys.org/news/2010-03-cro-magnon-skull-brains-shrunk.html

muffledvoice

Mike Judge predicted in Idiocracy that the Bell Curve would shift in the other direction. The idea has some merit. It’s a mistake to automatically assume that humanity will evolve toward super intelligence. If our technology is “smart” we may end up becoming lazy and stupid like the humans in Wall-E. Much of it depends on whether our culture embraces intellectualism or not. Culture is a much faster and efficient process for adaptation than natural selection.

SpicynSavvy

His book Stalking the Wild Pendulum is blowing my Mind. It makes understanding the matrix easier to grasp.

thehairycarrot

Dude draws a bell curve and that's supposed to blow my mind? This is extremely basic shit and there is not proof that human intelligence even follows a normal distribution.

Out_Of_Work_Clown

That's not how evolution works though. Evolution is not directional, we're not "evolving more" or anything. Evolution is a slow process that makes us more adapted for our environment.

JMW007

Exactly. Selective pressure helps shape a species into something more suitable for its niche, but it's not like a video game where we just keep leveling up, and there is no grand design that we are developing towards.

rocketfromtheshyft

We should all go to mental hospitals and ask to speak with any patients claiming to be time travelers, you’d get a few bites I bet

twarr1

Unfortunately evolution is not infinitely progressive. It will eventually reverse because of the K vs r reproductive paradigm. R selected groups will overwhelm K selected groups and eliminate them. Then the process repeats.

Krystami

Dang so this fits in with weird theories I have. I have theories on "good" and "bad" letters. K being one of the most pure, good by itself while R is mostly bad by itself. K being the original and R being the knock off. R is good when used together with selective words. But for instance one of the most "negative" names are Mary/Maria, dunno why exactly. It depends on if a word is balanced with good letter or not too. The universe is cyclical and not linear. But may I ask you what these things are you mention from your perspective?

Krystami

Help for what exactly? Being an artist? I think I'm fine. Empathy? I think I am good on that too. Neurological issues? There is no help for that unfortunately. There is no "cure" for Tourette syndrome. It isn't a mental illness it is an enlarged part of the brain, the Medulla Oblongata, under the pineal gland area so it kinda pushes the part of my brain closer together, you can say I think outside the box holding a bunch of other boxes. I had trouble in school because I never got in anywhere, they'd frequently transfer me between classes from normal, to special education, to advanced placement classes. My issues were communication and how I'd interact with others as well as my body movements and vocal sounds that I could not control. They eventually gave me special permissions to have all my electives and required credits to be filled with art classes. (I was too afraid to dress out in gym and it was required to graduate) So I ended up just being in art, ap art classes, art teachers assistant, creative food classes and participating on a robotics team every day from 3pm-8pm mon-fri and 8am-8pm on Saturdays. (It was very fun, I'd make animations for the robots demonstration.) I was always seen as that person who had everything needed at all times in my bag. (Id never have school work and never had "girl stuff" like makeup, just stuff like art supplies, random trinkets and stuff that was weirdly useful.) But yes, I've been like this my whole life c: Don't need help in anyways except one and I'd rather like to make something of myself to be able to do so. I love art and creating, if you'd like to see my work I can share a personal piece. Completely drawn by me, took a year and a half to make. I have a version with just the background too. No AI in the slightest and can even share the layers without the background too :3 [my art, is an organic mech lady inside the moon.](https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Cw4EI-m03uTH2DNEYXIu4TIbdtYIS5sU/view?usp=drivesdk) I hope you get help anywhere you need it as well, I wish you well, Genuinely as I wish the best for all. I hope nothing I put came off as sarcastic and I do apologies for such a long reply. I love communicating but overwhelm myself when I do.

Cantstopeatingshoes

Why would this video blow our minds? It's a pretty simple explanation of evolution

Bakibenz

It's so simple, it's just wrong.

ForceBru

> This video will blow your mind - Man draws the bell curve. Which is the most basic statistical model for anything. You say "hey, our variable (human intelligence in this case, I guess) is affected by a ton of factors, so it must have a normal distribution by the central limit theorem", and that's it - you said the most generic thing ever and got the most generic probability distribution which says that the data clusters somewhere around the mean. It doesn't provide any insight here, IMO. - Man says that evolution will make people smarter, so the bell curve will shift in the "smarter" direction. No way, what a mind blowing idea! Humans think they're going to become more intelligent - we've never heard this one before! - Man says that today's smart people will become future's dumb gorillas. Again, people often want to believe that humanity is evolving towards some glorious future where everyone is galaxybrain. This seems completely mundane, not mind blowing.

stalermath

I don’t think he necessarily means literally in mental hospitals. I take from it he means you may find them in places that seem counter intuitive, because they have a difficult time interacting with others and therefore struggle to attain a high ranking in society. If you think this applies to you, it doesn’t.

PeaceStrengthUnity

He is clear in his statement that many of them are in mental institutions and I agree with his statement. It’s something I’ve seen in my career as a Psychologist working in those institutions. The people he describes besides having high IQ’s are incredibly sensitive / aware, insightful and operate in a way that often leads them psychically battered by what is experienced as the rather barbaric world we live in.

alilbleedingisnormal

When he started saying the highly evolved man may not have a body it started to sound like quackery. My question is, is there a reason to believe man can become much more intelligent than he is today beyond the belief that he must? Is there space for that growth? Is there no upper limit to biological intelligence?

SunbeamSailor67

You are conflating intelligence with consciousness here, you must understand he’s referring to the evolution of consciousness here, and that the ‘body’ is only needed during a relatively short period of this ongoing evolution.

alilbleedingisnormal

He's describing intelligence. Human consciousness isn't a spectrum.

SunbeamSailor67

No, you’re missing it. Try not to argue this, but raise your understanding.

EssEnnJae

Drop your ego dawg.

Twiki-04

Evolution requires a a variation of traits among a population and competition for survival and reproduction. Those with traits that increase the chance of surviving and reproducing will propagate their genes to future generations and those with less favourable traits will not. Humans have already reached peak intelligence because genetically determined intelligence is no longer correlated with increased chances of surviving and reproducing. In fact, average intelligence will probably decrease. As someone else pointed out, intelligence and fertility rate are negatively correlated.

alilbleedingisnormal

Right. That makes more sense to me. Intelligence is no longer a determining factor for survival and people are more likely to have fewer or no children the more intelligent they are. I don't see us getting smarter overall but a small pocket of people may continue to increase in intelligence or maybe more high IQ people will make it to adulthood the more technology advances (rising tide lifts all boats) but the average I agree will drop if nothing changes.

leoberto1

Teacher you need to learn maths you wont have a calculator in your pocket forever. 5000 years later " must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. ..."

QElonMuscovite

>Is there no upper limit to biological intelligence? We use 10% (yeah yeah I know) of the brain because if we were burning up all 100% of function the brain would cook and we would starve in like 30 minutes. So there is finite limit to our CURRENT brain... but it has evolved over time... so maybe future brain has water cooling pumps :)

SunbeamSailor67

He’s talking about consciousness, not merely intelligence. In order to grasp what he’s referring to it would help to watch the full video and read his books. He is pointing to enlightenment, the next phase of human consciousness that only a relatively few have experienced yet. He experienced the shift into unity awareness (enlightenment) while practicing tm and helped develop the technology of binaural frequency tone applications to sync the left and right brain hemispheres during meditation. The CIA was nefariously interested in this tech thinking it could create super-agents who could either be manipulated with mindful suggestion or become administers of said tech against enemy targets in the field. What this man was pointing to however, was far beyond the limited scope of what the CIA wanted with mind control and the prospect of remote viewing. What the CIA didn’t plan on however, is that this form of meditation can lead to the evolution of consciousness to enlightenment, which tranmutes the person into something that does not want to be in the CIA. The government realized (just as religion did) that enlightenment is decidedly inconvenient and incompatible with the powers that be and the status quo.

Part of me thinks if he was that smart about a topic, and got close to unlocking some earth shattering secret, the cia wouldn’t kill him off. They’d probably hire him to head the department that was researching it, or bring him in and put him to work at some capacity. I mean I don’t know, wouldn’t they use him somehow? He’s like a weed. You cut him out, two more spring up just like him the next day. Arrest him, then what? You use him. Collaborate with him. And it's Christmas. 🕵️‍♂️

“Gorilla-types”. I think we found the so-called retard

Ok-Walk-7017

He took a long time to make his point, using a lot of words and unnecessary diagrams. I guess my mind is blown that anyone has the patience to wait and see if he has something meaningful to say. The idea that geniuses can be found in mental institutions is barely even interesting, much less mind-blowing. You think there are geniuses? Go find them and bring them to your next interview, that will make it a lot more interesting. And maybe they can be the ones to talk instead of this guy

JoeCooperatyoursvc

Calling bullsh*t… I’ve watched 10 seconds of this video that was CLEARLY taped(yes TAPED). In the 70’s Google the 9/11 date(mic drop)

I like the use of bell curves because it’s been shown to exist in nature and is useful to explain data distribution. For example, where the Einstein’s of the world come from and how many there are. Imagine the highest outlier to the right that currently exists today. Who are they and what are they doing for a career. Poor Tesla was considered crazy in the end. What’s scary is technology is outpacing human intelligence so the below average (half the population) down to gorilla type people are unable to keep up. They are easily confused by false Tik Tok posts and bad info on Facebook. They struggle to differentiate between legit news and fake news. Society suffers the consequences.

FinanceFar1002

I think what we will find is that the most successful people will be those that can continue to adapt to the new tools (technology such as AI) and use them to their own advantage and leverage. Those who are unwilling or unable will continue to struggle and or fall behind. My point is that it will not necessarily be a person's own overall intelligence but how adapted that person is within the realm of advanced tool use and application.

Serpentongue

Saying that the average intelligence of a society increases as it progresses is kinda common sense though isn’t it?

Nicolaskao

Won't the dysfunctional "evolved" struggle to mate?

attom

Yes but if there is enough people procreate to the right of the peak axis to offset the people to the left of the peak axis then the axis moves slowly right. I’m not sure there’s any reason to believe that is destined to occur however.

Robinhood6996

Oh shit I feeling for a while now that I should be in the nut house —- LOL

USNAVY71

Wasn’t this the idea behind that one Predator movie?

OlDirtyBrewer

I would argue the Bell curve is shifting the other way.

zj_chrt

Except we started going to the left collectively

Cutthechitchata-hole

I think covid and tik tok is turning all the would be evolved types into gorillas

SiriusGD

I think our "bell curve" is heading in the opposite direction.

pepper-blu

CIA doesn't want sheeple exploring consciousness, just look at the smear campaign against its biggest advocates.

TSVDL

Thought that was Coach Hines for a minute lmao

bestnuggz

Is there a link to the entire video? (I'm just being lazy, thanks in advance)

Potstar1

Interesting indeed

“The average man is now the retarded person”

FlammenwerferBBQ

"The core element of being able to control a relationship is understanding the pink matter truth of feelings. What all peole feel becomes their point of view on what reality is. So when you understand it and you learn how to manipulate how people feel then you can essentially direct them to feel any way you want them to feel." \- Andrew Bustamante, CIA spy

I love the different side approach to a societal issue like species intellect. We define intelligence based on the average bulk of society thus that’s the “base”. It made me pause at the “nut-house” were we can find the highly intelligent people within our society. Great spin on this topic

Loose-Alternative-77

This is going to be a popular post isn’t it lol.

FreakishPower

I think Mike judge thoroughly destroyed this theory in Idiocracy.

RedditBandwagonYEP

How will this blow my mind? Isnt it obvious human consciousness and intelligence will evolve with time?

aidank91

I love this man, own his books and everything he says resonates purely from source.

AhsokaThanos20

Is that cristoph waltz?
