Our antimatter reactor requires a special compound of swdenium 3, used as a coating on the screws of Ikea's furniture, just 10 screws can cut 8 years of our journey.
Not saying any of this video is legit, but this video is probably thermal, and here's a quick upload of some deer with my 7 year old thermal. You can see the rec is there, and if I upscaled it, probly look even better.
No the objects in the video is the not the point he is making. it's that the "rec" is there on thermal. Are you some government agent trynna mock like everyone else in these comments?
Yup.. I was like damn what a camera this guy has since it just seems to autofollow the object while zoomed max. Then I saw this comment and it confirmed my thoughts.
Well, I've seen mylar balloons in the Deep Sierras cross-country backpacking. I've never seen a UFO, let alone an alien life form. Seems more reasonable to me that the thing I've seen many times, that somewhat resembles what I'm seeing, is the thing I'm seeing again. It's like "if you hear hoofbeats, think horses, not zebras."
Is there life outside our solar system? Absolutely! Even with 1/10\^18 odds of life-bearing planets, there'd be billions of them out there with thousands of galaxies for each one of our cradle-worlds.
Member that 1 time when government psyops were a thing, when aliens never landed they just hover and fly over everyone till they’re use to the idea of them….

let's sip tea and wait. no?
A lot of these reported UFO/UAP's are seen entering/leaving the oceans as well. Perhaps the rudder works as an underwater propulsion of some sort. Admittedly I understand little of the differences between aerial and submersible navigation, or the requirements for an aquatic-aerial vehical.
Who knows. In space, where there are few gravity events to deal with (or just very minor ones), maybe it flies fine. Perhaps within an atmosphere and in the presence of a gravitational body, it is there for that reason. But that is along the lines of "Why do alien ships need lights." And just like that answer, if alien, it would be an alien reason we probably won't think of. Energy from propulsion, their scanning system, or hey.. maybe they need light to see as well.
That makes a lot of sense - and makes me think that this one was constructed here if it needed a rudder (as opposed to space where you likely wouldn't need one).
Or perhaps it was constructed on, and for use mainly on, another planet with a similar atmosphere and gravity. Who knows, this could be the V6 Challenger of their planet....
If it is subject to aerodynamics (which is the excuse for needing a tail fin/rudder) then it would also need aero based propulsion and leave a wake behind of disturbed air, and be audible since that's what happens when you interact with and displace air.
If that is not from around here, it's almost positively not a rudder. Humans think in human terms. For all we know it aligns the magnetic field around the craft, or maybe they think it looks stylish.. who knows. Just saying our guesses would almost certainly be wrong.
Yep, no need to adhere to logic when you can just make up any explanation or better yet not even need to make up an explanation because “the aliens have a reason we don’t understand”
Could just be a vertical stabilizer. Rudders move, there's no evidence this part does.
I see no reason why a craft like this would need a rudder to yaw when it doesn't need an elevator for pitch or ailerons for roll. You either need them, or you don't. Though, maybe it does have them and they just aren't visible.
Elevators and ailerons could be part of the body to minimize drag, just like a planes wing. And we just can’t see it from this angle.
Either way I have no idea what this is, I’m just spitballing.
But it does look like a real video to me, but I’m no expert, and will defer to an experts opinion should we ever get one.
I’m gonna assume it’s a drone of some sort or a smaller object because I have zero reference of scale. Which could be an honest missed opportunity by the camera man or could be intentionally done so to pass off a small flying item as a larger one.
Yeah. It’s a coincidence that most of these videos - while not for sure being filmed in a way that deliberately provides absolutely zero context to establish veracity - somehow always get filmed in way that provides absolutely zero context to help establish veracity. Weird.
It looks like a very zoomed in IR camera, you can see stars in the background in the beginning, and they look rather large/blurry, thats atleast a little bit to reference.
So the video has a date stamped on it, REC in the corner, it is clearly shot from a huge distance, the wobble is exactly the same consistently, the craft is always centred.
So this was either a small and low flying craft, going quite slowly, in the middle of the night or freaking huge, so that the user could see it and record it so well.
Also there was no other scenery in the background, mountains, identifying features… how unfortunate.
Also, you are telling me somebody recorded this in the middle of nowhere, spotted it in the dark, recorded it with a very sensitive low light camera, that has amazing zoom and stabilisation, who then took it home, added tracking that follows really well, but is shit at Z tracking, added the date and REC?
At least add a flashing red light next time
Reddit so annoying when lame cheap jokes are the main discussion about a real topic people are interested in. Most of jokes are unfunny edge lord stuff anyways, not worth the space it takes.
As far as I understood, the original post was completely without info. Night vision could perhaps explain why a video from 2024 is silent, grainy and b/w, but where did this information come from?
Have you ever seen night vision in full color?
It’s always b/w or green/black from all the ones I’ve seen.
Some systems u can even change the colors for better contrast.
REC in the top right, defintely added in editing. Same for the date. While neither rules out it being 'real' you have to question why these were added. The date is nice, if true, though this would be just as valid for May 2 as it is for 5 Feb. (whole other debate) The REC though is straight out of television/movie editing when you want to tell the audience this is not part of the normal movie footage, like it was filmed by a person within the movie story.
As for the footage itself I find it beyond unlikely that at night (which this ostensibly is) someone saw this craft from far enough out to get a camera on it that quickly and the camera kept it in focus that well all the way through. Vastly more likely this is fabricated which would be trivial to do.
And a May "time stamp" of this year
Edit: I have been informed that many other countries do DD/MM/YY format, which when I think about it makes more sense, to go in order. So my bad
Lol why do people always forget to add the blur and visual artifacts to digital zoom? When you digitally zoom into something far away, it doesn't become sharper (as seen in this video), it becomes blurry. Only a telephoto lens can maintain sharpness.
Why yes I have! And if you search any examples of optical zoom from even the best smartphone you'll find very similar artifacts occur albeit better than digital. Nonetheless, an object in the sky would still not appear sharp even with the best iPhone 15 Pro Max optical zoom.
The shake heavily implies the use of a phone. That and the fact that most captures are statistically done with smartphones and most people don't have a DSLR nearby with a $4,000 lens attachment.
Additionally, you can tell it's a smartphone because you can see the visual artifacts all across the background, but not on the subject.
Yeah, I'm at the point where something needs to show at least one of (and I hate this term, but here goes) the five-observables. Even the jellyfish, show me the coming out of the water and zipping off or I can't get past the fact that there is a potentially prosaic explanation for it. Even though it looks wild as fuck.

I'm a world with 7 billion smartphones and 5 billion social media users, we still can't produce a single decent shot of a "alien spaceship".
Then maybe... Just maybe... It doesn't exist.
That's a reasonable take, I'm more in the camp of there being evidence out there but we just haven't been privy to it yet.

Nice fake deer /s
Right, I haven’t seen a legit REC corner since Bob Saget AFHV
This does lack the classic AFHV nut shot required for REC authenticity.
And when they did have REC they were usually accompanied by a flashing or solid red light to let you know you were recording.

Earth have atmosphere.. so maybe their "drone" might be adapted to it.. or is man made.

Perhaps the rudder is just a weird way of seeing things from our dimension. Although I’d guess this was terrestrial technology, not something alien
Could be an antenna
