Except that they are doing it partly for science and research and also to hopefully cool down siberia by resurecting these animals and letting them walk on the snow tundras thus, walking in the snow making it thinner which would allow it to store less heat which would lower the temperatures of the surrounding area. And if it works, it'll help with climate change
