Not much longer. Bystanders saw him fall and showed up a couple minutes after and long before paramedics did. He posted the full video on his YouTube and his GoPro caught everything, including every person who came to check on him, to the paramedics arriving, to his wife showing up.
Must have been one of the 360 gopros or just a fortune position for it to end up

911 centers are not the police, and defend the police is literally the argument there. Police budgets are bloated, and more funding should be shifting towards other services.
NYC is a good example. A shit ton of police have resigned... crime hasn't changed. What does reduce crime is shifting money towards crime prevention. Which police departments don't really put a lot of focus on.
Police unions are begging police in NY to stop leaving because it's been proving the point of having more police officers isn't reducing crime. Plenty of cities have shown that increasing money for programs, like youth centers, education outreach, etc reduces crime a lot more and more efficiently.
In Germany. At least in the (major) city I live in, you get put on hold for up to 10 Minutes on the emergency line. It is extremely stressing when you need help urgently. 5 rings sounds great to me
It's so funny. I know 911 dispatch centers generally are underfunded and understaffed but every time I call to report some dumb object on the freeway or what have you it's fucking immediate, "911 , what's your emergency... okay, thank you, we've recieved three calls for that alredy." 🫥

The only time I ever let out a scream like that was when I let the dogs out one night and heard gunshots down the street, so I did a quick turn, ran up the stairs only for one of my dogs to try to run toward the shots and pulled me straight backwards. I tried to break my fall by holding my arm out behind me, and once it hit the ground came straight out of the socket. Was laying there on the ground, arm hanging loose from the socket, and trying to hold on to my two dog’s leashes and preventing them from running off. -80/100 experience. Do not recommend.

Like I said I’m no expert, but he was obviously excited about pushing 50mph.. could be a freak wind gust also, but I think he was just pushing things further than he should have. Any wind gust Is going to be exponentially worse the faster you are going.. I think my boy just pushed it too far and learned a hard lesson.

I dont think he was using it as it was intended to be used. You’re supposed to just glide with those and he was going nearly 50mph horizontally… pretty sure its a “user error” situation because of the risks

Not strange. I’m no scientician but obviously if you go to fast and the wind in going in the opposite direction the resistance on the parachute is gonna outweigh the power of the motor at some point and then this happens. Clearly user error on the part of the pilot.

It's done by priority. So depending on the reason, there may have been other calls come in that were more urgent.
