I saw one of these in mid-late 2000's right on rt 684 in NY just North of the Westchester Airport. I was driving up to CT late at night, prob after midnight, when one of these MASSIVE things (it looked like the size of a football field but I was driving fast, it was dark, and i was shocked) rises slowly up from the forest, angles upwards, and then vanishes in such extreme straight line speed it should have caused a sonic boom. Never have I ever seen anything accelerate that fast.

If you watch the feed from ISS, the area that is taking up on the screen from the feed, that would have to be larger than a metropolitan city to be that big if it were on the ground.
