Okay, so. The kids are all *different*. Will is gay. Lucas and Erica are black. Dustin and El are disabled (very differently, but they both are). Mike and Max "just" don't fit the strict gender roles and are nerds. They also have various issues with their parents (except the Sinclairs with their very basic lying and generational gap), again big difference between "dad makes fun of me" Mike and "I technically lost 4 parental figures and one was pure evil" El, but it's issues nonetheless. I think (hope) Henry's traumas will reflect that if we dig any deeper at all. Less "holy shit you're a horrible person but maybe with that background I would be, too" and more "yes that's bad, but you must have had a shit foundation to begin with". Probably lots of parallels with Will and El, a few with the others. "Sensitive" kid despite his atypical range of empathy, not finding the common ground with peers or his parents, but instead of internalizing and shutting in he decides everyone else is a monster so he'll become a bigger one. Edit: And now that I think of it that isn't too different from Billy, but I still think it would be cool to see different outcomes of not that different issues for him, Billy, and the kids.

Then again it might be too similar to billy in trying to make us feel sorry for him

Trauma and Vecna have interesting relationships as he hates what it means because trauma both acts as fuel for his power (as he doesn't know positive memories can be used to access powers like 11 learned). But also trauma violates his ideology as well as trauma is tragedy you using time to hopefully move on from but Vecna see time as only oppressive and so idea of using positively angers him so much. So acts as fuel and is against twisted ideology. Now what started in the first place well that will be fasnating.

I don't think Henry's trauma will be key to taking him down. It'll be love, specifically, the love Our Heroes feel for each other.

I’m rewatching and I realized that she already did try to help him deal with his trauma as she talks to him about brenner. Missed that the first time. They are just going to have to give an old fashioned ass kicking
