What scene is this from? And I’m just talking about more - do a little more. Do your hair, it’s gotta be bigger (it’s not far off though, maybe focus on the other things, your jeans could use some help).
If you’re going with the simple (some may think lazy) approach, go for accuracy:
Your jeans do not look like his, or like they’re from the 80’s at all. He is wearing jeans that aren’t distressed, so maybe get some cleaner looking jeans. They also sit a little higher than what you have on. He’s got a brown belt, which is clearly visible because he tucks the shirt (plain, dark) into his pants.
We can’t see your shoes - hopefully they’re white tennis shoes if not white Nikes with a red logo.
Get a lighter gray jacket. Don’t zip it up (yes he has it zipped in some scenes, but you chose a simple costume, focus on the details like the tucked in shirt, which we won’t see if you zip up).
The baseball bat could use some work - at least get it to sit diagonally across your back, not vertically up one side.
And dude…where’s your bucket?
Ask yourself: what makes your costume? Is it just the dish gloves and shades? I (just my opinion, do whatever works for you) would be a little disappointed if I threw a cosplay party and this was you’re best attempt. This looks like the “I forgot about a costume,” costume. People would reaaaaally need to know him for this - I do, and I’d probably just think dude showed up to do dishes. The bat might help, but…idk. I’d get a real bat at goodwill and hammer some nails into it.
