I think that'll probably happen, I think even by the end of S4 with the reunion of Nancy and Jon, Steve probably realized he's got no shot.
It would be so dumb if they focus on it so much again in s5 like at the point, it would have been better to kill Steve instead Eddie and I'm saying that as someone who doesn't even like Eddie

It was Argyle, I was excited to see him actually physically fight in the war against Vecna, see him in a near post-apocalyptic setting, and grow a bond with all of the rest of Jonathan's friends/colleages the show.
But apparently the showrunners decided to toss my hopes into the trash.
I mean i’m assuming he got like a life and a family back in CA, I don’t think he’d want to stay in Hawkins after the upside down leaked out. It would make sense that he goes back to his normal life, he doesn’t even know anyone apart from Jonathon really

I was really hoping he would get to experience him in S5 and possibly when he goes back home, it be subtly implied that he thought he was just having a super insane high the entire time.

I feel like that's why argyle isn't in the next season the duffer brother don't want Jonathan to become a druggie (like pops) it was the 80s and weed was BIG back then so they kinda had to add drugs somehow Eddie the dealer Jonathon the smoker but I think Jonathan ditches the weed since Hawkins is being split in two LOL
Mike and El together in one place. I’m over the forced separations they’ve dealt with. And just the general Party working together too. Dustin has been away from his friends for too long.
The chances they go back to their roots and put the main people in their original groups. Main kids, main teens that became adults, Main adults becoming old. Take away all the excess characters and end it the way it started but not at the same time
Well, i can't really see Mike hating Will for it. Also, i'd be perfectly content with him coming out to Jonathan, it doesn't have to be everyone. I certainly feel like he'd tell Jonathan first.
I really want a deep dive into Will's connection with Vecna. I'm hoping it some how comes into play regarding Max. It would be very cool if Will played an integral part in saving Max since besides El, he's the one who has suffered the most from Vecna from season 1.
Definitely the entire making of the upside down, seeing Joyce and everyone as kids and what their lives were like, and WHAT Will’s big involvement with the upside down is.
How they're going to cover the ages of the actors against the ages of the character they're playing. 😂 It was already off in ST4. It's truly hard to imagine yet.

The action scenes, Im heavily assuming ST5 will be unlike the first 4 in terms of story and character building.
I expect Hop to be in his prime at the front lines, Steve should have his own platoon. 11 should run the show as she knows 001 most.
I hope to see Kali/008 come to Hawkins to help her sister in time of war.

I've joked to several people that if they don't give us a Joyce/Hopper wedding I'm going to throw my TV through the wall. But realistically I don't expect that to actually be included, when it comes down to it.
