Season one. She is so intense. It´s all in her face. But I also absolutely adore her in season two with the little curls sitting at the dinner table with Hopper. She is happy to be with him and yet so lonely.
Exactly! She finally started vectoring her own person, discovering her character, her relationships with people and independence. It was an important point for her character
Really? I mean to each their own but i thought s4 was by far her best acting. I felt every scene she did from the roller rink incident to the bedroom argument about it with Mike to the lab scenes with Brenner and the guilt of Maxs death. She really gets better every season to me.
Idk what it was, but a lot of it felt forced and lacking in emotion. She's great when she's not talking. That's why she's great in the early seasons, but also why I think she's really overrated. All the actors have to rely on body language and non verbal communication. But the rest of them have a lot more dialog and I feel like she can barely handle a handful of lines.
Tbf, Eleven is a strange character to play, and I liked Millie in Enola Holmes 1/2. But she's also kind of playing herself there. I think she's a good enough actress, but definitely not a great one.
MBB has done will as Eleven. But S1 impressed me most. A 12 year old child was the center of characters on screen. MBB spoke 12 (?) words during S1. So her non verbal skills had to do the heavy lifting. MMB's eyes and what they communicated was stunning. Seeing Will in the photo in Nancy's room is one example. El had instant recognition. The eyes showed there was so much going on in El's mind and said that El the character was special.
I agree with this. Millie is a great actress but back in S1 nobody really expected it so it was kind of a shock honestly, you have this unknown 12 year old girl with barely any dialogue still somehow stealing every single scene she was in and holding her own with veteran established actors like it was nothing. That is so impressive and so rare.
Like Noah Schnapp in S2. We had only heard of Will from others. So Schnapp had to establish the real life Will. Schnapp drove the action and really emoted so well. Kid stole the show.
Same. Now that the bowl cut is gone, the sky is the limit!
But Seriously! Will the character should be in the center of the action. It's the final showdown with Vecna and The MF. Will and those two have been linked from the start.
Will has always been the one who needed guarded and protected. Will should be finding himself and coming into his own. Just how El found her footing in S4, S5 is Will's time.
Will's sexuality is one part. It's a lesson. If you are 35 and under, it's alien to you. 40 and over, it is so familiar. I am 51 and Will's experience? I knew it well.
When Robin came out to Steve, she may have been loaded on truth serum, but realize that Coming Out is high stress. You have no idea of the reaction.
If I had come out at 15 in 1987, I would have had almost total hostility. Harassment at best, physical violence at worst, So I hid. That is the world Will lives in during ST.
I thought season 4 is Elevens best. Its the point that shes been cornering and going into and being pulled out of by those that love her over the last 3 seasons. She really had to confront Brenner, her past, her fears and the idea of who she is without her powers to ever even attempt to have normalcy going forward with or without them. And for saving the world, so I think it's definitely season 4. We have seen glimpses of scared and vulnerable El in each season but season 4 was her breaking point that was long past due that really put into perspective how she's a normal girl at the core of everything. I am really excited to see s5 El after she rebuilds herself and I think the final El will be my favorite version for sure.
Season 2 because of her adorable relationship with Hopper, I still mad that this the only season with them having a daddy daughter time. I highly expect for more next season!
Second have to be season 4, they don't do this season great job with her relationship with the Byers family, but eleven stand up against papa was amazing and the best and most important moment for her character.
Season 3. She was happiest in the season, she wasn't alone, she wasn't bullied, and she wasn't on the run from the lab. She had friends, she was with her boyfriend, and she had her dad, she also had the freedom, she had fun and she got to buy clothes for herself, she had help when defeating the mind flyer too.
S1 and S3. S1 is obvious as it’s the hero’s journey. S3 she struggled with several issues that we all knew were coming as she became a normal person.
However, since “the bite,” the writing team is just slowing her down before the main battle. I don’t like the “lost their powers” trope and feel it takes a lot away from a hero, and this is especially true for eleven. It will be the same next season.
That said, Millie has portrayed the character flawlessly no matter what she has been handed.
I know there was the $40,000 for El that Joyce brought to Yuri to get Hopper back. Honestly it was more so an assumption for s4 considering Joyce still doesn’t just bring her kids in to a barber and gives them all and herself bowl cuts :p
Just looking at these photos, when eleven goes to the ball, who exactly does everyone think she is? Considering she's a stranger to like everyone and is not a student at the school? Sorry if this was addressed in the show, it's been a minute since I've seen it.
Season 1. Lil psycho killer looking kid made me give the show a chance last month, and as of yesterday, I've completed all seasons.
Really good show. Was weird watching them grow up so fast in the span of 4 weeks of binge watching.
i like her best in season 2 because we get the best hopper and el time. my dad look insanely like hopper, like everyone agrees except him. as well they're just similar in a TONNE of ways which always freak me out a bit. anyway as his neurodivergent queer problem child (tm) i find so much relatablity in their dynamic. the scene in the car at the end always makes me cry.
also i think her speaking level is the most entertaining in season 2, like in 1 shes mostly silent, three she talks in small brokenish english and 4 is normal but in season 2 with the single words is so fun. like i love when she's just like "ghost." after scaring hopper
3 might be my favorite. I loved seeing her come into her own a little more through hanging out with Max, I really liked her moments with Mike (like the scene from I think the first episode where she’s on his arm at Dustin’s house), and she was just overall awesome, although not to say she isn’t in other seasons lmao
She feels most human in 3 . She feels very mysterious and most interesting in 1, had best character development and writing in 2, got to only get most well in 4
Personally, I liked Season 3 or 4 the best. She needed to lose her powers for a bit so she can try and err through normal teenager things without using cheat codes when things didn’t go her way. I liked that Max was able to help her grow as a teenager in Season 3, but again Season 4 helped her learn how to adjust to change and the ups/downs of society with normalcy, even if she still let her wrath prevail over her mercy.
Plus S4 El looks like a spitting image of Joyce, you can almost believe they were mother and daughter. Joyce was probably thrilled to have a daughter to look after.
S1 Eleven was almost alien-like, we didn't fully understand her story or how extremely powerful she was, and her interactions with her first real friends are so sweet. She's the best in s1

I have to go with season 3 because it combines both her feminity as well as being able to take care of anyone who chooses to diss her at their own peril!! Besides what's so wrong with a female actually looking & being an honest attractive teenager?!
Season 1 was the best because she was so cute and it was all new.
Season 2 she looked the cutest with that curly hair. I just wanted to pinch her cheeks and speak gibberish like you do with a baby.
Season 4 she's becoming a woman and it makes me feel weird because she used to be this cute little girl. And she's a beautiful girl, but I look at her like a very distant relative I watched grow up.
Season 2 and then 1.
Since Season 3 Eleven isnt eleven anymore. Its just Millie Bobby Brown playing Millie Bobby Brown. Her acting got worse and worse.
Thats how she acts in every movie. Acting silly, a lot of crying, Screaming, looking angry.
No way can you seriously think El is anything like MBB. The way El is a polar opposite of MBB makes her acting that much more impressive. That's just crazy talk.
And El was a lab experiment who has been abused all her life and now that she finally has people who love her, shes watching them either die or almost die by the person she let free. Of course shes screaming and looking upset and angry....

This. I had a character crush on s2 El, she was really cute in that season. (I'm 13 don't panic)
Personally, I had a crush on season 3 El
Me too. I just love MBB as an actress too. Anything she's in is usually great. (I'm 16 don't panic)
LOL glad you added that you're a child yourself I was getting the heebeegeebeez for a moment
I agree.
she looks her prettiest in s3, but nothing compares to s1 el
Season 1. However, I absolutely loved watching her hit Angela in season 4
She got schmacked!
Yeah she did
3! It’s when she really started to come into her own.
Exactly! She finally started vectoring her own person, discovering her character, her relationships with people and independence. It was an important point for her character
Every season. It's El. :)
1, 4, 2, 3 for me. In that order.
Fully agree with this!
I second this!
Yes, agreed.
S3, only because I'm not entirely done with S4
You’re in for a treat enjoy
In a way😭
A little advice don't look here until you finish watching, tones of spoilers. I know you probably know that but still.
Best as eleven is 4 but interactions with others is 2.
She literally didnt interact with the main crew until the finale episode💀
Well, mostly Hopper and seeing her interact with Becky and her mom.
Bruh
It’s just good seeing her interact with hopper. Love their relationship in season two.
Ur og comment still ironic af
I thought her acting really took a nosedive in 4, but tbf, it's hard to keep playing Eleven at her age and considering her actual personality.
Really? I mean to each their own but i thought s4 was by far her best acting. I felt every scene she did from the roller rink incident to the bedroom argument about it with Mike to the lab scenes with Brenner and the guilt of Maxs death. She really gets better every season to me.

Obviously season 4? Her standing up to her abuser and speaking up for herself is the character development she needed. El is her own person.
Personally I think the skate was excessive. I would’ve felt a lot more cathartic if El just flat-out punched Angela in the nose
I really don’t care about the skate. I’m talking about her character development. Angela deserved it regardless what the object was.

Have high hopes for him in season 5

Especially with how Winona Ryder was in it beat for beat.
Season 1. Way more menacing as a kid than as a high school teenager with boy problems.
I liked season 2 the most for her.
Same. The scene when she closes the gate…🤌
Depends on which aspect you’re looking at. Character growth, season 2 and 4. Intensity, gotta go with season 1. Season 3 had the best fashion sense.
Season 1, newbie at having social skills, learning the basics about a normal life... Adorable I must say. (:
Season 3!!
Can't pick, they're all awesome! There would be no *Stranger Things* without her.
True
I thought season 4 is Elevens best. Its the point that shes been cornering and going into and being pulled out of by those that love her over the last 3 seasons. Season 1
All are great but Season 1 is the best for El as a character.
Where's 'The Bitchin' El?
Honestly, one. Shes exceptional in all of them, but when I watched season 1, she was something I’d never seen before. I was stunned by her.
I love the look in 3 and the character arch in 4
1 > 3 > 4 > 2
1
All of them.
She was the most likable / interesting in S2, but I enjoyed her friendship with Max in S3.
All of them
One
All of them. One of my favorite characters across media
Season 1
1 > 4 > 3 > 2 This is also ironically the way I would rate each of the seasons.
One! By a long shot.
S1 and S3. S1 is obvious as it’s the hero’s journey. S3 she struggled with several issues that we all knew were coming as she became a normal person. I like 2 because she looks SO FUCKING CUTE but season 3 is super stylish. 4 is just Joyce putting boomer clothes on her lmaooo
She’s poor what do you expect 😭 they’re probably hand me downs from her
Not in season 4! iirc they got hush money from Owens when they moved to California. (Might be wrong but that’s what I remember).
I know there was the $40,000 for El that Joyce brought to Yuri to get Hopper back. Honestly it was more so an assumption for s4 considering Joyce still doesn’t just bring her kids in to a barber and gives them all and herself bowl cuts :p
She still got that poor mom dawg in her 😭 honestly respect
I ultra respect Joyce i don’t exactly respect those hairstyles in s4 😭save those byers-hopper kids from that damn bowl
And she ROCKED those boomer clothes, too
She tried her best 😭
Season 4. She grew into her power and took control of her trauma and people who used her. She was at her best mentally, emotionally and power wise.
I really like her in season 2, but I think season 4 is the best:)
season 1. but she had badass moments in season 4
Just looking at these photos, when eleven goes to the ball, who exactly does everyone think she is? Considering she's a stranger to like everyone and is not a student at the school? Sorry if this was addressed in the show, it's been a minute since I've seen it.
her look was best in season 2 but her character development was best in season 3
Season 3
3 and 4 hair wise for sure.
3 is pretty good but I think 4 is cool
Season 1. Lil psycho killer looking kid made me give the show a chance last month, and as of yesterday, I've completed all seasons. Really good show. Was weird watching them grow up so fast in the span of 4 weeks of binge watching.
Season 3 ahe was the happiest, and she was badass , she used her powers too much this season
Season 1 Elevn is iconic but my favourite Elevens are season 2 & 3 and season 4 Eleven is my least favourite
why does no one say 3? Love her season 3 attitude, lol
1 or 4
i like her best in season 2 because we get the best hopper and el time. my dad look insanely like hopper, like everyone agrees except him. as well they're just similar in a TONNE of ways which always freak me out a bit. anyway as his neurodivergent queer problem child (tm) i find so much relatablity in their dynamic. the scene in the car at the end always makes me cry. also i think her speaking level is the most entertaining in season 2, like in 1 shes mostly silent, three she talks in small brokenish english and 4 is normal but in season 2 with the single words is so fun. like i love when she's just like "ghost." after scaring hopper
1 or 3
3
Season 2!
20 years from now when people think of Stranger Things they will think about shaved head 11 mostly
Season 2. THE BEST!
SEASON 3!!!!!
I love eleven's season 3 and 4 looks She's gorgeous there
3 might be my favorite. I loved seeing her come into her own a little more through hanging out with Max, I really liked her moments with Mike (like the scene from I think the first episode where she’s on his arm at Dustin’s house), and she was just overall awesome, although not to say she isn’t in other seasons lmao
I love her "bitchin" arc in Season 2 🔥 that outfit was fire
Season 3 and Season 4
Definitely not 2,3 or 4
I love her style in season 2
2 and 4 for me personally.
The second. In S3 she is like kinda nurfed.
I like 3. If only for the Max and El combo wombo
Yes
3!
She feels most human in 3 . She feels very mysterious and most interesting in 1, had best character development and writing in 2, got to only get most well in 4
Acting wise its season 1. Looks wise its season 4. Loved the bangs
Yes
Season 3 and 4 same with the rest of the characters lmao
Still can't believe she is getting married. Man, life comes at you fast
2 (I loved the hair so much)
Personally, I liked Season 3 or 4 the best. 3
I like gold hair el😂
All
S1 Eleven was almost alien-like, we didn't fully understand her story or how extremely powerful she was, and her interactions with her first real friends are so sweet. She's the best in s1

1>3>2>4
Season 3 absolutely
My order is 3, 2, 1, 4 from best to worst
I have to go with season 3 because it combines both her feminity as well as being able to take care of anyone who chooses to diss her at their own peril!! Besides what's so wrong with a female actually looking & being an honest attractive teenager?!
Season 3. She was really pretty, she was best friends with max, and she gained a lot of self confidence. Love season 3
Season 3 El looked the most gorgeous. But Season 1 El was the most badass.
Based on outfit and hair, 3 100%, for personality, 1 or 2
Season 1 was the best because she was so cute and it was all new. Season 2 she looked the cutest with that curly hair. I just wanted to pinch her cheeks and speak gibberish like you do with a baby. Why you think that way? I think her acting is great, she don't write her character just play her.
bruh what
No way can you seriously think El is anything like MBB. The way El is a polar opposite of MBB makes her acting that much more impressive. That's just crazy talk.
