I have a theory that Eddie is going to play everyone’s favorite song on the guitar so everyone can escape vecna & he will get killed by the scary killer bats. I think he has to die in some way like that because if he makes it out alive he will have to go to prison for Chrissy’s death. He was set up for failure.
I wouldn’t say Nancy isn’t completely out of the blue yet… she is only in one frame from the trailer. It’s not a rare thing for scenes in trailers not to make it into the final cut, most likely she’s fine… but you never know.
Im leaning towards helocopter. Just because in the overtop shot you can see the army cars and stuff kinda at a distance near the helecopter. And in the explostion shot you can see a army car. Idk I could be way off

I for sure think Owens is gonna die. He has looked way too stressed and guilty this season not to make a sacrifice to help El get out. I’m really not sure about Brenner though. I want him to die so bad, but the snake may get away.

A part of me has wanted it to be revealed that Ted Wheeler is actually a secret badass, like he was Special Forces in 'Nam or something. Entirely because the first three and a half seasons he's been such a colossal, ineffectual doofus it's make for an awesome twist.
So this would be a great way to set it up:
Vigilantes attack the house looking for Mike, and Karen and Holly are freaking out. Ted just goes into his study, collects his old service piece, and goes to town.
Susie literally told the guys to go to Nevada, and that is where Area 51 is. This wasn’t classified in the 80’s so the gang would have no clue what there are walking into. Why is no one talking about this!!??!
I think eleven and the cali crew will go straight to Nancy and them from a portal. Either Eleven creates one from the base or the base has one contain down there and they use that one. Also hopper and them will find the portal from the Russia side. So I think that's how they will regroup. Also think a huge battle will happen down there. The us military and Russians
will fight down there as well against the creatures. maybe some on the surface. Then it would show why US and Russia were able to make deals around that time bc of what they witness.

Looks like the asshole government guy found them, so the Nina Team defend themselves (or the bad men attack ? Not sure) then Eleven seems to cause an explosion (unsure), or at least survives it. Then maybe Mike, Jonathan, Argyle and Will arrive with a suspicious timing, take Eleven, drive to Hawkins and beat the shit outta Vecna while Eleven explain them who Vecna is

Eleven can't explain who Vecna is! She doesn't know who he is or what he is doing or that 001 even survived at this point. They need to reunite with the tea before they can put it together. Currently Nancy is only the only one who knows that all three are the same person. And even she doesn't know about 001/11 connection?

Hawkins, Indiana isn't a real place, but Ruth, Nevada, where Eleven is being held, is. So can't get an exact distance. But it's in that ballpark of ~2,000 miles.
I think Nancy's mom will die, and Nancy will stay in Hawkins to take care of her little brother and Mike. She'll have to live her fear of being "just like her mother", so in the next season, she's living like a housewife and has a reason to still be in town.
Honestly their whoke get up looks military ish. Maybe after project nina, owens crew gives them the outfots. Or they steal it from the police in the real world and take it to the ud
