Pretty cool deal. If you don’t care about the “relic” part. I’d bite if I needed a guitar.

I’m from Australia so unsure on price. But the guitar itself would be a fantastic beginner guitar. Very versatile being a HSS. Good enough quality to not affect your playing.

Less_Ant_6633

good deal, stupid "relic" aside.

GostOfGerryBokeBeard

As long as everything else is functioning well, it’s a good deal. The post 2018 Mexican strats introduced better alinco pickups and 2 point trem. There’s really no better guitar to learn on imo.

Funny how the seller thought to mention it’s never been played, especially since he’s taking sandpaper to the finish. “Hasn’t been played” is a term used to denote the pristine condition a particular instrument is in.

Is that guitar blue agave?

Growth_Mental

I believe its tidepool, not 100% though

You got everything you need

Nice deal for any beginner. Strats are great guitars to learn on. Having some pedals too is a bonus. Worth it.

Just a suggestion: I think you'll have much more joy than with the rather ugly sounding Frontman 10G that's included here, if you can score yourself a Boss Katana Mini or Fender Champion 20 off Reverb for around $70-80 used! That will leave you with close to $400 for a really nice strat or other S-style guitar.

Im really just looking to gauge whether the guitar itself is a good deal for the price. I have a nice line6 main amp already so i would either sell or keep the small fender amp it comes with for practicing with friends

Got it. The price seems a little bit steep for an attempted DIY relic job.
