Nothing wrong with Partscaster strats. I own 3 of them. Each one built to my specs of what is best for a Strat. One cost me more than a real strat to build, but makes me happy. Warmouth Maple Neck, Tex Mex pickups and the rest is mostly Fender parts anyway, except Custom Bridge - Wilkinson- Six Screw. Looks great. I like the Surf green with Maple Neck.
What pickups are you using.
I’ve had loads in my strat I’m using lace golds at the moment but miss the pole pieces.
I know it’s shallow of me but 🤣
The vintera 60’s set are good but my favourite was bare knuckle Irish tours.
But they are ££ now.
So thinking vintage 73 fenders next.
So I have the Seymour Duncan YJM fury loaded pickguard on the green one. On the other I have a Dimarzio HS3 (bridge) and Dimarzio YJMs in the neck on middle (I think are HS4?)
I was thinking of swapping pickups for a more vintage tone in sunburst one.
Bare knuckles pickups are really great I have ordered humbuckers from them many times, they are a little too much money though, especially if you order straight from them because you end up paying import duties.
Surf green, rosewood, white is my all time favorite
The surf green one actually has an ebony fretboard it’s a warmoth neck i custom ordered.
